Hamas backed these protests at Columbia. The things that have happened at the hands of Hamas are horrific, and yet these protestors are out there waving flags for the very people who committed those crimes. This is not who we are in America.

Today, I saw firsthand the radical mob Columbia has allowed to run amok on campus, spouting antisemitism and threatening Jewish students. If universities don’t get it under control, it will escalate. Taxpayer dollars should not be going to institutions that allow this chaos.

Administrators at Columbia have proven themselves to be incapable of achieving their basic responsibly – keeping students safe. I join my colleagues in calling on President Shafik to resign. Congress will not be silent as Jewish students are targeted on campus.
