Abstract

A method of lining an exhaust manifold is disclosed, including applying a thin layer of a heat-resistant compound to the interior of an exhaust manifold. The manifold may be in two or more sections where the compound is applied and the sections may subsequently be joined together to form the manifold. The compound may contain zirconium or may be a ceramic material.
