Abstract

The invention concerns a method and a device for ultrasound measurement of the rate of flow of a flowing medium with a measuring tube, with at least two pairs of ultrasound transducers arranged on the measuring tube, each forming a measuring path with a transducer determining the velocities of the medium along the measuring paths from the signals of the pairs of ultrasound transducers and with an adder determining the rate of flow of the medium from the velocities of the medium along the measuring paths.
The method and device are designed with a Reynolds' number meter that determines the Reynolds' number continuously and a flow corrector connected to the adder and the Reynolds' number meter.
