Abstract
L'invention a pour objet un procédé de revêtement d'au moins une bande métallique (1) par un film en polymère réticulable fluide exempt de solvant ou de diluant et d'épaisseur inférieure à celle de la bande métallique, caractérisé en ce que l'on fait défiler en continu la bande métallique (1) sur au moins un cylindre de support (3), on préchauffe ladite bande, on forme par écoulement forcé, sur un cylindre preneur (16), une nappe (30) dudit polymère réticulable, on chauffe et on entraîne en rotation le cylindre preneur (16) dans le même sens que le cylindre de support (3) et on forme le film en polymère réticulable, et on comprime, entre le cylindre preneur (16) et la bande métallique (1), un élément applicateur (17) de surface déformable, chauffé et entraîné en rotation dans le même sens que le cylindre de support (3) pour transférer ce film du cylindre preneur (16) sur l'élément applicateur (17) et dudit élément applicateur sur la bande métallique (1). L'invention a également pour objet un dispositif de revêtement pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
