Abstract

A multi-component stab and ballistic garment (10) having a stab resistant sub-panel (12) constructed of at least one layer of metallic cloth (26) between at least two layers of woven fabric (22, 24). A ballistic resistant sub-panel (14) constructed of woven ballistic resistant sheets (47) is provided in which at least a portion of the stab resistant panel (12) and at least a portion of the ballistic resistant sub-panel (14) are aligned with one another.
