Abstract
The invention relates to a pedicle screw for implants for the correction and stabilisation of the spinal column, comprising a head piece (4), on one axial end of a threaded shaft (2) to which a clamp piece (3) may be connected, comprising a clamp housing (5) for a bar (6) which may be fixed to the head piece (4). A threaded drilling (8) is embodied in the clamp piece (3) for housing a thread provided on the head piece (4).
Claims (17)
1. Pedicle screw for implants for the correction and stabilization of the spinal column, with a head piece (4) on the one axial end of a threaded shaft (2), to which a clamp piece (3) can be connected which has a clamp receptacle (5) for a rod (6) that can be fixed to the head piece (4) characterized in that a threaded bore (8) is integrated into the clamp piece (3) to accommodate a thread provided on the head piece (4).
2. Pedicle screw according to Claim 1, characterized in that the head piece (4) is shaped as a spherical head and the thread is located on the outside of a threaded retainer (26) whose interior forms a ball socket for the spherical head.
3. Pedicle screw according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that, coaxially to the axis (17) of the threaded shaft (2), a non-spherical, preferably polygonal tool receptacle (18) is provided in the free end of the head piece (4) for a tool to apply torque.
4. Pedicle screw according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that in the threaded shaft (2) is a coaxial guide receptacle (19) from which at least one side channel (20) leads to the circumference area of the threaded shaft (2).
5. Pedicle screw according to Claim 4, characterized in that the side channel (20) is spread several times evenly across the circumference of the threaded shaft (2).
6. Pedicle screw according to Claims 4 and 5, characterized in that the side channel (20) is axially staggered several times.
7. Pedicle screw according to Claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the side channel (20) ends between the thread flights (21) in the circumference area of the threaded shaft (2).
8. Pedicle screw according to Claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the guide receptacle (19) extends along the entire axial length of the threaded shaft (2).
9. Pedicle screw according to Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that threaded bore (8) is located in the clamp base (7) of the clamp piece (3) and in that the clamp receptacle (5) allows a ring (22) to be placed on the head piece (4).
10. Pedicle screw according to Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a lid (11) is connected to the first leg (9) of the clamp piece (3) by means of a joint (10).

Pedicle screw according to Claim 10, characterized in that a leg wing (13) projects radially outward from the second leg (12) of the clamp piece (3) towards the side not facing the first leg (9), in which a threaded wing bore (14) is provided to accommodate a securing screw (16) that passes through an opening (15) in the lid (11).
12. Pedicle screw according to Claims 10 and 11, characterized in that a stamphead (28) is arranged between the lid (11) and the head piece (4) to clamp the head piece (4) in the clamp piece when the lid (11) is finally closed.
13. Pedicle screw according to Claim 12, characterized in that a screw receptacle (23) is provided in the lid (11) to accommodate a fixing screw (27) which serves to clamp the rod (6).
14. Pedicle screw according to Claims 12 and 13, characterized in that the stamphead (28) is formed by a ring leg (24) formed at the ring (22).
15. Pedicle screw according to Claim 14, characterized in that the ring leg (24) is provided in duplicate on opposite sides of the ring (22) in order to encircle the rod (6) from both sides.
16. Pedicle screw according to Claims 12 to 15, characterized in that a pressure strip (25) is provided at the lid (11) on the side facing the head piece (4) in order to apply force to the stamphead (28).
17. Pedicle screw according to Claims 12 to 16, characterized in that the supporting surface for the stamphead (28), which is located at the lid (11), is arranged at a distance from the joint (10).
