  5. [5] The method of claim 1, further comprising when the terminal performs the po-sitioning, sending the calculated position value from the target terminal to the location server using a session report message.
  6. [6] The method of claim 1, further comprising:
    storing the trigger information by the terminal, and sending a session-start message to the location server; and when receiving the session-start message, informing the client, by the location server, that the terminal has accepted the positioning request.
  7. [7] The method of claim 1, wherein the location server sends a session initiating message including at least trigger type information to the target terminal in order to start a session with the target terminal.
  8. [8] The method of claim 7, wherein the trigger type information denotes a periodic service type.
  9. [9] The method of claim 1, further comprising sending a positioning request message including trigger parameters related to the positioning for the target terminal from an agent to the location server.
  10. [10] A periodic positioning method in a mobile communications system in a po-sitioning method of a terminal between at least one or more terminals and a location server, the periodic positioning method comprising:
    receiving, in a terminal, a session initiating message including trigger type in-formation from the location server;
    starting a session with the location server according to the session initiating message;
