Abstract
The aim of the present invention is to provide a gastric tube comprising an inflatable stopper and a supply cannula that can be introduced into the oesophagus and on which a lumen is superposed in the region of the inflatable stopper. Said lumen is connected to the interior of the inflatable stopper. It is possible to improve the rapid volume equalization between the various regions of the inflatable stopper in such a way that the lumen, which is located between the supply cannula and the inflatable stopper and is connected to the interior of said inflatable stopper, can be produced in a technically simple manner and at the same time provides sufficient volume equalization between partial volumes of the inflatable stopper. This aim is achieved by a gastric probe comprising an inflatable stopper, in which a separate moulding body is mounted on the supply cannula, thereby determining the configuration of the lumen.
Claims (24)
1. Gastric tube (1) with an inflatable stopper (3) and a supply cannula (4) that can be introduced into the oesophagus and on which a lumen (5) is superposed in the region of the inflatable stopper (3), which is connected to the interior (8) of the inflatable stopper (3) and permits a rapid volume equalization between various regions of the inflatable stopper (3), characterized in that a separate molding body (2) is mounted on the supply cannuda (4) in the region of the inflatable stopper which determines the shape of the lumen (5).
2. Gastric tube (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the molding body (2) has a tubular structure (18), the inner contour of which approximately corresponds to the outer contour of the supply cannula (4).
3. Gastric tube (1) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the molding body (2) comprises at least one opening (22), which extends approximately into the longitudinal direction of the molding body (2) over at least 50 to 60%, advantageously up to 80%, of the overall length of the molding body and connects the lumen (5) to the interior (8) of the inflatable stopper (3).
4. Gastric tube (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that the opening (23) extends approximately over the complete length of the molding body (2).
