Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及移动通信设备,具体涉及手机,及为现有的手机提供更强功能的外围设备。本发明尤其涉及带内置彩色打印机的手机。
背景技术
近年来,商业上成功手机模型一直是最简约紧凑的。对小尺寸的要求抑制了手机内置其他设备,尤其是打印机的可能性。
现有的打印机将打印介质结合至打印机中,并使用一打印介质供给机构传输打印介质使其经过打印头,以在打印介质上实施打印。在打印操作过程中,为保证打印出来的复制图像与原图像一致,同步打印介质的速度与打印头的打印速度是非常重要的。目前来说,因为包括打印介质的打印介质供给机构设置为打印机的一体部分,打印介质与打印头的同步速度已经较容易实现。因此,打印介质的速度是已知的而且是固定的,即为打印头及打印控制器操作的速度,使用如齿轮,步进电机等简单的机械部件实现这些部件间的同步。
然而,由于该等部件,具体来说是在打印机中容置打印介质的要求,使得打印机比实际需要的要大要重。即使在采用上述同时待批的申请中所描述的整体式页宽按需供墨式打印头装置的更紧凑的打印机中,其打印头是固定的,也仍需要提供打印介质和与打印机一体的打印介质驱动机构,以保证喷墨和打印介质运动的同步。打印机可达到的最小尺寸一直受限于这些要求,且这些要求也使得打印机不可能结合至如手机一样紧凑型设备中。

发明内容
根据本发明的一方面,提供一种移动通信设备,其包括:一外壳、一显示屏、容置于所述外壳内的用于无线通信的电路及一容置于所述外壳内的打印机,所述移动通信设备包括:
一打印头装置,当所述打印机相对打印介质运动时,其在所述打印介质上进行打印,所述打印头装置包括多个喷墨喷嘴;
一墨水源,其用于存储油墨并向所述打印头装置供应油墨;
一速度传感器,其用于测定所述打印头装置相对所述打印介质运动的速度并生成速度数据;及
一打印控制器,其用于:
(a)从图像源接收图像数据;
(b)将图像数据转变为多个喷墨控制信号;
(c)从速度传感器接收速度数据;及
(d)依照所述喷墨控制信号,以使用速度数据设定的速度来操作所述打印头装置内的喷墨喷嘴,实现所述打印介质上的图像数据的打印。
优选地,所述速度传感器包括:
一光学编码盘,其用于与所述打印介质接触,并在所述设备相对所述打印介质运动时旋转,所述光学编码盘上具有一系列圆周间隔设置的标记;及
一光学传感器,其用于:
(a)在光学编码盘旋转过程中,当所述标记经过所述光学传感器时检测该标记;及
(b)由检测到的标记生成速度数据。
优选地,所述移动通信设备还包括棘轮装置,其用于防止所述光学编码盘沿与打印方向相反的方向旋转。
优选地,所述墨水源可从所述打印机上拆卸。
优选地,所述设备进一步包括一可动地设于一闭盖位置和一开盖位置之间的封盖装置,在闭盖位置,所述封盖装置基本堵塞油墨由所述喷墨喷嘴喷射,在开盖位置,所述封盖装置基本不堵塞油墨由所述喷墨喷嘴喷射。
优选地,所述设备进一步包括一个位于所述设备上的封盖致动器,用户可在使所述打印头装置相对所述打印介质运动时对其进行操作。
优选地,所述设备进一步包括一偏压元件,用于将所述封盖装置偏压到所述闭盖位置。
优选地,所述打印控制器通过所述的用于无线通信的电路由图像源接收图像数据。
优选地,所述设备进一步包括用于存储所述图像数据的存储器。
优选地,待打印的图像显示在所述显示屏上。
优选地,所述打印机进一步包括可更换的墨盒。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,本发明移动通信设备总体以100示出。移动通信设备100为带有内置打印机的手机,如图1所示,该手机在用户(未示出)的控制下沿箭头21所示的方向移动,经过打印介质页面20并在页面20上打印图像22。
如图5及图6所示,手机100包括如键盘101、功能键102、显示屏幕103、音量按钮104、扬声器105及话筒106等标准部件。该手机还包括充电插孔107、电源插座108及耳机插孔109。一打印元件10穿过手机外壳侧面的一个开口容置。
图7所示为手机100的分解立体图。手机的装配图如图8至图11所示。参照这些附图,该手机包括一上壳301、一基座壳302及一后盖303。上壳301上有一系列的孔306用于放置键盘308上的键及功能键。还有一孔用于放置透镜盖310。
在上壳301与基座壳302之间,牢固安装有一刚性印刷电路板(PCB)312。如所功知的,PCB 312包括手机大部分的电路,具体有扬声器313、彩色LCD显示屏314及天线315。现有技术中,带有ID编码及指令电路的SIM卡316容置在基座壳302的内部孔319内,并以现有方式与PCB312电连接。
基座壳302的上表面设有凹槽321来放置PCB 312及天线315。基座壳302的下部设有一挖去部分来放置标准的手机电池322及打印元件10,详细情况如下所述。
基座壳302进一步包括充电插孔323、电源插座插孔324及耳机插孔325。
后盖303可拆卸地装设于基座壳302,以获取电池322及SIM卡316。
现参照图2至图4详细描述打印元件10。尽管图2至图4描述的是独立的扫掠式打印机,其与图7描述的打印机稍有不同,普通领域的技术人员可以理解,这两个打印机的许多部件可以是共同的,因而不需要详细描述该用于移动通信设备的打印机。
图2所示为打印机10的分解立体图。打印机10包括下壳11,上壳12及可拆卸的封盖13,这三者每一个都可以由任何合适的塑料、金属等材料制成。
所述上壳及下壳每个都包括设于介质滑块14,滑块14设于各壳体底面上的每一端部处。滑块14从壳体的底面突出,在打印机经过打印介质时,用于提升打印头,使得打印头和打印介质之间的摩擦达到最小并防止打印机和刚打印出来的油墨接触破坏打印出来的图像。
打印头10包括一个打印头模块30,该打印头模块30内设有多个通向喷墨喷嘴31阵列的传墨通道,喷墨喷嘴31阵列与设于上壳12、下壳11之间的喷墨槽对正。一墨盒32存储彩色油墨,优选为四色,即青色,洋红色,黄色及黑色,以提供全色打印。可选择地,或另外地,也可以使用红外线邮墨。墨盒32通过一油墨连接器向打印头模块30的传墨通道供应油墨。
任何已知的打印头模块30及供墨系统都可用于本发明,因而这里就不再对这些部件进行详细描述。本发明使用的打印头模块及供墨系统可见于上述本申请人的同时待批申请中。
打印控制器36包括微处理器,所述微处理器可将保存在微处理器内存中的图像数据转换成电“墨滴喷出”信号序列。该信号在打印操作中以已知方式与打印头连接通信,使得油墨从喷墨管嘴31中选择性喷出。
打印控制微处理器36与PCB 312的电路相连,接收打印指令及数字图像数据。
当打印元件10正确地安装在手机100中时,打印元件(未示出)的电源触点与手机的供电电路相连接。
如图3所示,端部封盖13可以从打印机10上拆卸下来,从而显露出孔47,通过该孔47可更换墨盒。
为了实现打印,用户可用功能键102命令打印机并以下述方式打开封盖50,以使打印头片30(见图4)暴露向打印介质。打印介质可以是任何适于接收打印机中存储的油墨的纺织物,也可以是其他的纸张、纸板、木材、织物和塑料。手机100包括一控制键,用户按下该控制键可以启动打印(即,在打印微处理器控制下,打印头开始喷墨。)可选择地,封盖16的致动可作为用户准备开始打印的信号而被检测。此后,用户按如图1所示的方式移动手机经过打印介质20。
为控制打印速度,打印机10包括一个连设于打印头模块30一端的光学编码盘39(见图2)。光学编码盘39容置在槽41a,41b中,槽41a和槽41b分别设于所述上壳和下壳内,且光学编码盘39由所述壳体延伸到盘39边缘与介质滑块14(见图4)在同一平面的位置。当盘39与打印介质接触旋转时,微处理器36上的光学传感器会读出光学编码盘39上圆周间隔设置的标记。
光学传感器包括一光源(如LED)和一光电检测器,所述光电检测器根据照射在检测器上的入射光量产生电响应。编码盘39上的光反射特性在标记区和非标记区是不同的,因而在标记旋转经过检测器时,检测器的响应会发生变化。从检测器响应变化的频率可以测量到编码盘转动的速度,并进而测量手机相对于打印介质移动的速度。
检测器响应传送到打印控制微处理器36中,微处理器36利用该信号来计算打印头模块移经打印介质的速度。然后,打印控制器控制墨滴喷出控制信号经过喷墨喷嘴的速度,使其与测定的打印机的速度同步。于是,打印机10就可取保位于要打印线路上的点间隔,从而,即便是在打印机没有控制打印介质相对于打印头运动的速度时,也能生成与打印图像相一致的复制图像。
此外,若编码盘39上标记数量足够多时,微处理器36可快速根据用户移动打印机经过打印介质时的速度的变化调整自己的速度,从而获得较高质量的图像。
一惰轮44安装在打印头模块30的另一端,以固定打印机并控制其方向。惰轮44与编码盘39通过一轴连接在一起,以同步编码盘39与惰轮44的旋转。
光学编码盘39和/或惰轮44可带有限速器,如摩擦离合器,以防止用户以一个超过打印头模块30的最大工作速度的速度在打印介质上移动打印机。此外,光学编码盘39和惰轮44中的任意一个或两个可具有如棘轮的系统来防止打印机向打印的反方向移动。
在上述实施例中,数字图像数据可通过无线通信网络从外部图像源发送到微处理器36,并通过天线315和PCB 312接收。
可选择地,数字图像数据可以利用红外线(IR)信号从如电脑的外围设备接收,该IR信号通过设于手机外壳内的IR窗口传输。在这样的实施例中,与微处理器36电连接的IR接收器接收数据,再将其保存至处理器的存储器中。在另外的实施例(图未示)中,微处理器可通过其他任何适当的连接,如电线、插头插座、数据端口,连接到其它电子设备(如电脑、扫描仪、复印机、数码相机等)、无线通信网络(如WAP)。其他信息,如打印控制指令,也可以通过采用上述系统的外围设备发出。另一实施例中,微处理器具有其自己的图像生成性能。
比如在如图中8所示,手机100带有内置照相模块。在本实施例中,镜头401设于基座壳302中。经过镜头401的光入射到一CCD(电荷耦合装置)阵列上。CCD阵列传送数字图像至打印控制微处理器以实施打印。照相启动按键设于手机的键盘102上。
在本实施例中,打印元件10包括可更换的墨盒。可选择地,手机100可以设有油墨存储槽,利用充墨系统从充墨装置中充墨,其详细资料见于上述互相参照的本申请人同时待批的申请(事务所案号AP52及AP53)中。上文提到的充墨系统利用图5和图7所示的打印元件10的进墨孔327。通过利用上述的充墨系统,因为仅在需要维修打印头时才需拆卸打印元件10,打印单元不需要容易拆卸。
图12为图5中手机100的横剖视图。此图给出了上述互相参照的本申请人的同时待批的申请(事务所案号AP44)中提到的封盖装置50。封盖装置安装于打印元件10上,其允许盖柄52从堵塞打印头片30喷墨的位置移动至图中不堵塞其喷墨的位置。
可以采取任何合适的方法致动封盖装置50到其闭盖位置,包括但不限于上述互相参照的本申请人同时待批的申请(事务所案号AP44)中描述的方法。如采用与编码盘39一起运行的摩擦离合器、螺线管致动器、或手机100外壳上的手指操作的致动器。
手机外壳内的打印头和油墨存储槽的结构可适应手机的具体形状和式样而有所不同。上述的实施例使用与一体式充墨油墨存储槽一起的侧面打印头。
也可以采用其他的实施方式,如打印头穿过手机外壳的底部或顶部边缘露出,打印头具有可据需要将墨盒与打印头一体设置或可更换的墨盒。
尽管本发明具体参照手机进行描述,但本领于普通技术人员可以理解,本发明可用于其他许多便携式电子设备,包括但不限于无线网络存取设备(WIAD),特别是无线应用协议(WAP)终端,寻呼机,个人数字助理(PDA)等设备。
尽管本发明说明了具体的实施方式,本领域普通技术人员可根据其以其他形式实现本发明而不脱离本发明的原则。因此,应认为本发明的具体实施方式及例子是说明性的而不是限制性的,本发明的范围由所附的权利要求而不是由前面的描述来确定,而且,与权利要求等同的意义和范围引申出来的改进应包含在权利要求内。
Claims (10)
1.一种移动通信设备,其包括:一外壳、一显示屏、容置于所述外壳内的用于无线通信的电路及一容置于所述外壳内的打印机,所述移动通信设备包括:
一打印头装置,当所述打印机相对打印介质运动时,其在所述打印介质上进行打印,所述打印头装置包括多个喷墨喷嘴;
一墨水源,其用于存储油墨并向所述打印头装置供应油墨;
一速度传感器,其用于测定所述打印头装置相对所述打印介质运动的速度并生成速度数据;及
一打印控制器,其用于:
(a)从图像源接收图像数据;
(b)将图像数据转变为多个喷墨控制信号;
(c)从速度传感器接收速度数据;及
(d)依照所述喷墨控制信号,以使用速度数据设定的速度来操作所述打印头装置内的喷墨喷嘴,实现所述打印介质上的图像数据的打印;其中,所述速度传感器包括:
一光学编码盘,其用于与所述打印介质接触,并在所述设备相对所述打印介质运动时旋转,所述光学编码盘上具有一系列圆周间隔设置的标记;
一光学传感器,其用于:
(a)在光学编码盘旋转过程中,当所述标记经过所述光学传感器时检测该标记;及
(b)由检测到的标记生成速度数据,以及
棘轮装置,其用于防止所述光学编码盘沿与打印方向相反的方向旋转。
2.根据权利要求1中所述的设备,其特征在于,所述墨水源可从打印机拆卸。
3.根据权利要求1中所述的设备,其特征在于,进一步包括一可动地设于一闭盖位置和一开盖位置之间的封盖装置,在闭盖位置,所述封盖装置堵塞油墨由所述喷墨喷嘴喷射,在开盖位置,所述封盖装置不堵塞油墨由所述喷墨喷嘴喷射。
4.根据权利要求3中所述的设备,其特征在于,进一步包括一个位于所述设备上的封盖致动器,用户可在使所述打印头装置相对所述打印介质运动时对其进行操作。
5.根据权利要求1中所述的设备,其特征在于,所述打印控制器通过所述的用于无线通信的电路由图像源接收图像数据。
6.根据权利要求5中所述的设备,其特征在于,所述图像数据是从无线通信网络在无线通信线路中接收的。
7.根据权利要求1中所述的设备,其特征在于,所述打印机进一步包括可更换的墨盒。
8.根据权利要求1中所述的设备,其特征在于,所述外壳包括一个或多个进墨孔,所述进墨孔提供了与墨水源的流体连通,并且通过该进墨孔可补充油墨的供给。
9.根据权利要求1中所述的设备,其特征在于,所述设备进一步包括一个带有镜头和CCD阵列的数字照相机,其中所述CCD阵列捕捉到的图像数据显示在所述移动通信设备的显示屏上。
