技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于带轮手推车的电子把手，特别地，涉及一种购物车把手，其包含有电子模块以及显示屏以向正在购物的使用者提供信息。
背景技术
购物手推车多年来在形式上都没有本质的变化。不过，近来随着便宜的、功耗小的小型计算机的供应，已经尝试在购物车中添加小型计算机来帮助使用者购物。举例来说，将条形码阅读器添加到购物车上，让使用者能够进行价格核对和/或自行结账。Gupta的美国专利5,361,871就揭示了这样一个系统，且该专利的内容在此一并纳入参考。然而，Gupta的设备看起来似乎会干扰固有的手推车嵌套(nesting)，并且需要与手推车的底部电性连接以充电，这有可能在手推车通过商店走廊和/或商店停车场路边时被损坏。相信这样的系统，例如在Gupta中所揭露的不会被广泛采用。
可以夹在购物车把手上或者可拆卸的放置在购物车把手上的相关购物辅助设备也是众所周知的。然而，使用者在使用这些设备前必须要从架子或是其他存储位置取出并放置在购物车的车把手上。当购物者到达结账线时，商店工作人员必须将设备从购物车上拿下来和/或放回充电站，或是依靠顾客执行这些行为。相信这些不方便之处已经妨碍这样的设备被广泛采用。
因此，希望提供一种不具有上述缺陷，并且易于使用和维护的电子购物辅助设备。

具体实施方式
现在参考图示，其中图示仅仅是为了阐明本发明的最佳实施例，而不是为了将发明限于图示本身，图1所示的购物车把手10包括自中央本体14的延伸的第一和第二手柄12。中央本体14包括显示屏16，最好是触摸屏，以及用于容纳电子模块、图17所示的电池15、电路板、条形码阅读器17以及其他在这里描述的功能元件的内部空腔。本体14包括与手柄12一体形成的第一部或是前部18以及后部20。后部20可以通过螺钉或是搭扣可移动地固定至前部18，也可以永久地固定至前部18，比如通过合适的粘贴剂。当后部20是可移动地固定到前部18时，需要提供一个合适的垫圈以在保证 水密性的密封的同时允许后部20呼吸并且使得本体14的空腔内的冷凝(condensation)减到最小。
手柄12包含握持部21以及与本体14结合的加强部22，以增加车把手10的强度，并降低手柄12与本体14的结合部在车把手10被推拉或是本体14受到向下的压力时受到损坏的可能性。握持部21包含覆盖了其大部分长度的大约3英尺或8厘米的圆周(或者是外围，当握持部的不具有圆形的截面时)，以使用者在握持的时候感到舒适。加强部22向外展开并且具有自握持部21的外围向本体14的侧壁逐渐增加的较大的圆周或外围。如图1和图2所示，向外展开的加强部22围住了握持部21的各个面，因而握持部21朝着本体14延伸的横截面会穿过而不会与加强部22的最大的圆周或外围交叉。
如图26所示，本体14可以选择性地包括棘轮传动机构29，以允许本体14和显示屏16改变角度。更适宜的是，棘轮传动机构29允许本体14旋转，直到显示屏16面向购物车的儿童座，因此举例来说，视频文件就可以在购物时显示在显示屏16上来吸引孩子的兴趣。棘轮传动机构可以设置在沿着手柄12的握持部21长度方向上的任意点，或者可以对本体14做些微改变(未图示)，将棘轮传动机构设于手柄12与本体14的接合部位或是设在本体14里面。
手柄12被做成具有标准购物车所要求的最大长度，也可以截短以适用于小一些的购物车。手柄12的握持部21可以具有多种形状的横截面，例如图23所示的圆形横截面、图24所示的卵形横截面以及图25所示的肾形横截面。当这里描述的握持部21与本体14的前部18是一体成型时，他们也可以与本体14分开成型，并通过合适的方式与本体14连接。另一方面，对于现有的具有不容易移动的车把手的购物手推车，本体14上可以设置合适的夹子或者其他紧固件以将本体14和容纳在其内的电子模块永久地或暂时 地安装至现有的购物手推车上。
本体以及内部的组件可以使用于一较宽的温度范围，例如-45℃至70℃，因而设备在非常冷的冬天或是阳光直射的夏天都可以存放在户外，并且可以抵抗潮湿或是购物车把手可能遭受到的冲击。手柄和本体最好是用合适的热塑材料构成。
电池15可以再充电并且在再充电之前可以支持电子模块工作大约16个小时。
本体14包括用来收容模块条形码阅读器17的开口24以及提供接入到内部I/O端口30的开口28，例如，如图8所示，本发明一较佳实施例包含USB端口。收容在本体14内的硬件将执行多种功能并且在显示屏上提供多种显示，但功能和显示并不构成目前揭露的一部分。
本体14内的硬件可以通过插入到端口30的启动装置启动。在本实施例中，启动装置包括具有与端口30相适应的USB接口的固态存储设备32，可替换地，电子模块可以由条形码阅读器17扫描经授权使用者的条形码来启动，例如消费者忠诚卡(customer loyalty card)上的条形码。当使用存储设备32时，存储设备32上的使用者信息能够可选择性地供本体14中的处理器读取和/或传送到与电子的购物车把手10进行无线通讯的中央服务器上。
存储设备32能够用于接收并存储来自电子的购物车把手10的信息或者是与购物车把手进行无线通讯的服务器，例如家用电脑，使用者之后会存取所述信息。而隐私是一个问题，设备32可以仅包含一个序列号，以确定设备32可以被与电子模块通信的安全服务器识别，在这种情形下，没有个人信息会被存储在设备32中。这样假使设备32丢失也可以防止私人信息被泄露。就目前揭露而言，只需要知道经授权的使用者可以通过设备32或是消费者忠诚卡上的条形码被本体14内的处理器识别，且处理器在电子模块内，举例来说可以与服务器和/或因特网无线通信，以基于之前存储的参数提供信息给购物车把手的使用者。
存储设备32如图4所示包括具有合适的紧凑型闪存或是其他固态存储器的主体34、可插入端口30的USB连接器36、盖子38以及环40或是类似的允许设备32连接到钥匙环上的设置。
图5所示为另一记忆体设备42。记忆体设备42在具有固态记忆体的主体44、USB连接器46、盖子48以及环50之外还包括具有预定形状的开启件52，本实施例中为十字架形。开启件52的形状与开启口54的形状相匹配，如图7所示，开启口54位于与端口30相邻的本体中。当使用记忆体设备42时，开启件52插入开启口54中。开启件52相对于连接器46更多的凸伸出主体44，因而会进入开启口54并启动松开机构56，其中松开机构56在端口30上打开门58。这样的安排使得外来物体不太可能插入端口30，让使用者在端口30上使用未经授权的设备更加困难。开启件52可以通过一个拇指划片(thumb slide)53收回，例如，使USB设备30可以适用于标准的USB端口，譬如说使用者家用计算机上的端口。
在启动本体14内的电子模块之外，插入的记忆体装置32或42还可以执行安全功能。如图9至图12所示，安装有电子的车把手10的购物车59包括用来稳定购物车车轮的轮锁装置。这些轮锁装置可包含用来选择性的驱动杆64进入轮子60的开口的螺线管62以防止轮子60转向。螺线管62可由本体14内的处理器发出的信号来控制，且只有当经授权的记忆体装置32、42插入端口30时解开轮子60。
图12所示为多个装有电子车把手10的购物车70的嵌套。当车把手10安装在各种标准的购物车上时，其本体14的大小以及位置充分防止车把手10与购物车嵌套相互干涉。此外，电子的购物车把手10安装的角度最好是使显示屏16与水平线之间成大约30度的夹角以改善可见度和使反光最小化，且不会与购物车里儿童座的使用或是购物车嵌套相干涉。
图13所示为用于对多个嵌套的购物车80、82、84的包含在本体14内的电池15进行再充电的菊花链的设置。从这些图示中明显可以看出，每一本体14包含有电源线86、电源插座88以及电源LED90，当购物车被供电时，其上的电源LED90会变亮。第一辆购物车80上的电源线86连接到合适的直流电源92(例如连接到交流电源的转接器)，第二辆购物车82上的电源线86插入第一辆购物车80上的电源插座88，以及第三辆购物车84的电源线86插入第二辆购物车82上的电源插座88。当购物车连接到电源时，每一个购物车上的电源LED90变亮，通过这样的方式，可以很容易的判断出是否嵌套中的所有购物车都在被充电。这样的排列特别适合于后进先出的购物车安排，因而主要适用于在购买者使用的前一晚将一组购物车连接并完整充电的情形，或是另一种安排，嵌套的购物车中的每一个都可以单独的插入电源直到被完成充电。这允许在经过一个工作日后，将充电时间最长的购物车从购物车序列中先取出来。
图14所示的购物车围栏100具有第一以及第二栏杆102，如图17所示，每一栏杆102设有连接至电源103的导电电荷轨104。围栏100包括第一倾角与第二倾角导引部106以引导购物车进入围栏100。设于手柄12末端的电接触108与这些电荷轨104电性接触以对本体14内的电池15充电。电接触108也可以设于独立的端盖107上，端盖107可以在将握持部21截去适当长度后安装至手柄12。电接触108或是电荷轨104都可以是弹性的或是可替换的以保证电接触108与电荷轨104之间良好的电连接，即使栏杆102之间的间隙和或车把手10的末端之间的间隙不是恒定的。可选地，端盖107可以可伸缩的安装于手柄12内且彼此弹性偏离以适应导电轨102之间不同的间隙。围栏100可以进一步包含合叶片112或是类似的结构以保证购物车从单一方向经过围栏，并且充电时间最长的购物车可以先取走以提供先进先出的充电。
图18所示为整合入菊花链购物车安全系统的充电系统。在这样的安全系统中，嵌套的购物车通过将链接于一个购物车的元件114插入到相邻购物车的狭槽116中来固定。元件114可以通过插入硬币或是代币(token)来释放元件114从而以解开一个购物车。硬币或是代币在购物车使用完毕后放回购物车嵌套时被返还。在Lenader的美国专利4,474,282中阐述了一个这样的菊花链锁扣系统(不包含本发明中的电子充电系统)的例子，其内容于此一并参考。
如图19和图20所示，元件114包括与狭槽116中的锁扣机构连接的搭扣115以及与狭槽116中的电接触120配合以使两购物车电性连接的电接触118。在狭槽116中的电接触120通过线缆121与链接至购物车的元件的电接触118依次连接，该元件可以用相似的方式插入相邻购物车的狭槽116以电性连接并使串联的嵌套购物车相互固定。
图21所示为包含安装在壁132上的单一轨道130的充电系统。轨道130包括安装有一对有间隔的电接触134的通道133，用来与设在购物车把手138端部的一对垂直凸伸的电接触136进行电性连接。在靠近轨道130的地面上设有引导通道140，以辅助导引购物车的车轮并相对于轨道130恰当的安置车把手138。这样的安排空间效率高并且允许通过购物车把手的一端对电池充电。

Claims (21)

1.一种购物车把手组件，包括：
具有显示屏的本体；
设于所述本体的电子电路，用于在显示屏上产生图像；
第一与第二握持部，均具有经由连接器与本体连接的向外展开的近端，以及末端；
其中，每个连接器包括一个配置为使所述本体相对于所述第一和第二握持部枢转的机构，由此所述显示屏相对于所述握持部在第一位置和第二位置之间是可移动的，以及
其中，当所述显示屏在第一位置时其被配置为用于给推该购物车的使用者观看，当所述显示屏在第二位置时其被配置为用于给在该购物车中的使用者观看。

17.一种购物车把手组件，包括：
具有第一部分以及与所述第一部分相连的第二部分且具有显示屏的本体；
设于所述本体中并具有处理器的电子电路，用于在所述显示屏上产生图像；
所述本体包括可操作地连接至所述处理器的电连接器，用于将外部记忆体设备与所述处理器相连；以及
至少一个经由连接器连接至所述本体和购物车的握持元件，
其中，所述连接器包括一个配置为使所述本体相对于所述握持元件枢转的机构，由此所述显示屏相对于所述握持元件在第一位置和第二位置之间是可移动的，以及
其中，当所述显示屏在第一位置时其被配置为用于给推该购物车的使用者观看，当所述显示屏在第二位置时其被配置为用于给在该购物车中的使用者观看。
18.如权利要求17所述的购物车把手组件，其特征在于，包括设于所述本体内的电池盒。
19.如权利要求17所述的购物车把手组件，其特征在于，所述第一和第二握持部均具有连接至所述本体且向外展开的近端。
20.如权利要求17所述的购物车把手组件，其特征在于，包括用于保护所述电连接器的选择性地可开启的盖子。
21.如权利要求20所述的购物车把手组件，其特征在于，包括用来打开所述选择性地可开启的盖子的松开机构。
