客户机装置102与BTS 204之间的无线通信可基于不同技术，例如，码分多址(CDMA)、时分多址(TDMA)、频分多址(FDMA)、全球移动通信系统(GSM)、或可在无线通信网络或数据通信网络中使用的其它协议。数据通信通常发生于客户机装置102、BTS 204及MSC 202之间。MSC 202可连接到多个数据网络(例如，运营商网络200、PSTN、因特网、虚拟专用网络及类似网络)，因此允许客户机装置接入更广泛的通信网络。如前文所论述，除话音传输外，还可经由SMS或此项技术中已知的其它OTA方法将数据传输到客户机装置。

除安全功能外，客户机装置300与记帐服务器130之间的通信还包含验证及识别逻辑以识别客户机装置并将其与内部帐号或订户识别(SID)320相关联，如此项技术中已知，内部帐号或订户识别(SID)320由经营商记帐系统330用来将客户机装置与无线订户的帐目相关联。所述SID通常不与容易地从客户机装置得到确认的号码相关，所述号码例如是移动目录号码(MDN)或移动识别号码(MIN)。此外，SID 320可以是记帐服务器130与经营商记帐系统330之间任何约定的代码，其通常产生针对订户的帐单。例如，SID可以是十四个数字的号码且可表示MIN或IMSI的变型(例如，310006199772376)。然而，本发明并不局限于此格式且SID可以是任何约定的格式，例如，含有号码、字符及/或符号的识别代码及类似代码。
图3进一步图解说明根据本发明的至少一个实施例的系统，其允许从外部(例如，无线运营商网络以外)记帐源360(例如，零售商、外部网站及类似处)进行服务值记帐。服务值记帐模块(SVB)350可包含在无线订户记帐系统301中。SVB 350为不是无线运营商网络一部分的外部记帐源360(例如，第三方卖主、发行人及类似方)提供记帐端口。与针对直接从运营商网络内的客户机装置选择的及下载到所述客户机装置的应用程序进行分布及记帐的常规系统相反，SVB 350允许经由建立的无线订户记帐系统301处理外部事务。
SVB 350中可包含鉴别特征，其可验证正存取SVB模块350的外部记帐源360的身份。例如，可向可信服务颁发数字证书。所述证书将与运营商/经营商及可信服务(例如，零售商)相关联以用于证实。外部记帐源380使用所颁发的证书以数字方式签署到SVB 350的每一事务。数字签字及数字证书可包含在每一请求中。SVB 350可接着鉴别每一记帐请求上的签字。例如，SVB 350可以是基于web的接口且到SVB 350的连接可经由因特网，从而在外部记帐源360鉴别中使用HTTPS协议。然而，所属领域的技术人员将了解，本发明并不局限于因特网连接及HTTPS协议而是可使用有线及/或无线连接与适合的安全/鉴别系统的任何组合来从外部记帐源360传递记帐请求。
因此，无线订户记帐系统301可从在运营商网络外部的外部记帐源360接收记帐请求。然而，由于来自外部记帐源360的基于SVB的记帐事件并不是直接在运营商网络内或从订户的客户机装置300所产生，因此外部ID 340通常将与不是在记帐服务器130与操作记帐系统330之间使用的SID 320相关联。此外，出于安全性、保密性及其它原因，可能使SID 320仅能在记帐服务器130到经营商记帐系统330通信的范围内使用。因此，必须将外部ID 340映射到SID 320以便使记帐系统301将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统330。
SID映射数据库380可由记帐系统301(例如，SVB 350、记帐服务器130或其它逻辑模块)用来唯一识别订户。例如，订户可使用其移动目录号码(MDN)(例如，可拨打的电话号码)、移动识别号码(MIN)、移动台身份(MSID)、国际移动台身份(IMSI)或可与无线订户及/或客户机装置相关联的其它所指派唯一号码。MDN(或其它唯一号码)可与记帐请求一起传输到SVB 350。SID映射逻辑370可接着存取SID映射数据库380且用记帐系统中使用的唯一SID替换MDN或将MDN与所述唯一SID相关联，以便使用经营商记帐系统来处理记帐请求及事务。
然而，填充SID数据库可以是使用中的数百万个无线客户机装置给出的劳动密集型任务。此外，并非所有无线装置都可经启用而用于外部采购。因此，SID映射逻辑370可用于自动地捕获与客户机装置300相关联的外部ID。SID映射逻辑370可进一步具有通过使用试探法确定内部帐号(例如，SID)，所述试探法使用从无线装置300与记帐系统301之间的记帐事务获得的数据(例如，外部ID)。SID映射逻辑370可接受用于外部记帐源所产生事务的各种识别信息(例如，MDN、MIN、MSID、IMSI及类似信息)且将这些数据映射到使用从无线客户机装置300与记帐系统301之间的先前记帐事务导出的数据的内部帐号(SID)。
例如，在其中客户机装置与记帐服务器130及记帐系统301通信以从无线运营商网络下载应用程序及/或内容的可记帐事件期间，产生记帐事务。通常，作为无线客户机装置300与记帐系统301之间的通信的一部分，可出于鉴别及安全目的而将识别数据传输到记帐系统。例如，作为可记帐事件期间的通信的一部分，客户机装置可包含其MDN、MIN及其它此类识别信息。因此，SID逻辑映射可捕获此外部ID信息并将其与被传递到经营商记帐系统的ID相关联。SID映射数据库380可存储这些相关联的ID且还可被存取以确定是否已经为特定客户机装置建立了条目，而使得不能存储冗余数据。
如果无线装置在经营商系统上不再有效(例如，已关闭/已转移的帐户等)，那么所述经营商可提供通知所述SID何时已去激活或已转移的通知(例如，服务提供文件)。此允许系统将SID映射中的记录标记为不活动且在下一次见到SID时(例如，迟于所述SID已被重置指派给新消费者是的每一时间)，所述SID映射可使用所述SID及其与无线装置相关的相关联ID来创建新的活动记录。
另外，SID可映射到一个以上装置(例如，用于数个无线装置的共用帐户)。在此情况下，系统可追踪每一唯一装置的呈组合形式的SID及一个或一个以上其它相关联ID。例如，外部ID可以组合形式与可检索的SID一起使用且两者均可被传递到经营商记帐系统，以对适当帐户进行记帐并提供额外的报告细节。
所属领域的技术人员将了解，本发明的实施例可包含根据前述说明的设备。例如，本发明的实施例可包含一种设备，其包含：经配置以从在无线客户机装置与无线订户记帐系统之间传递的可记帐事件捕获与所述无线客户机装置相关联的外部ID的逻辑；及经配置以将外部ID与用于将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统的订户ID(SID)相关联的逻辑(例如，SID映射逻辑370)。同样，所述设备可包含经配置以存储相关联的外部ID及SID的存储媒体(例如，380)。
所述设备可进一步包含：经配置以在无线订户记帐系统处从外部记帐源接收记帐请求的逻辑(例如，SVB 350)；及经配置以将记帐请求中含有的外部ID映射到订户ID(SID)的逻辑(例如，370)。另外，所述设备可进一步包含经配置以将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统的逻辑(例如，记帐服务器130)。
此外，在本发明的实施例中，可由与经营商及外部记帐源分离的第三方托管无线订户记帐系统。例如，无线订户记帐系统可例如配置为高通(QUALCOMM)的BREW记帐及分布系统(BDS)，其可将应用程序及内容分布到客户机装置，给经营商记帐系统产生记帐信息及向应用程序及内容提供商提供结算服务。使用本发明的实施例的方面，BDS可进一步经增强以允许外部记帐系统存取记帐系统并使用外部ID将适当记帐信息传递到经营商记帐系统。因此，无线订户记帐系统可经增强以处理无线经营商/运营商网络外部的事务，从而允许无线订户更广泛地使用其无线帐户。
所属领域的技术人员将了解，本发明的实施例可包含用于执行本文所述的活动、功能及/或步骤的方法。例如，参照图4，其图解说明一个流程图，所述流程图图解说明一种根据本发明的至少一个实施例的方法。从在无线客户机装置与无线订户记帐系统之间传递的可记帐事件获得与所述无线客户机装置相关联的外部ID，方块410。将外部ID与用于将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统的订户ID(SID)相关联，方块420。
例如，BREW下载/记帐确认消息(事件)可含有与客户机装置相关联且可记录于SID映射中的所有ID。此数据可通过基础Brew操作环境(或在非BREW环境的情况下，购买网关基础设施)添加到消息的标题，因此，发送应用程序(例如，客户机装置上的)不需要知道标题值或不具有对标题值的任何控制。
另一选择是，在BREW客户机上，可存在经调用以创建记帐事件且传递ID的特定API呼叫(例如，I记帐、I下载及类似物)。在非Brew环境中，可通过经营商的网关基础设施或以客户机装置与网关之间协商的方式或通过驻留于客户机装置上的程序来添加所述值。提供这些实例仅出于图解说明目的。因此，本发明的实施例并不局限于任何特定平台或数据通信格式且可包含可自动地针对可记帐/下载事件捕获及相关联SID信息。
在进行关联之后，记帐系统可使用外部ID处理外部记帐请求。例如，可在无线订户记帐系统处从外部记帐源接收记帐请求430且可将记帐请求中含有的外部ID映射到订户ID(SID)，方块440。可将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统，方块450。因此，可使用外部ID(例如，客户机装置的MDN)来从外部记帐源(例如，零售商店、网站及类似处)采购物品且可将MDN(例如，外部ID)与其它记帐信息(例如，采购的物品说明、采购量及类似信息)一起传输到记帐系统。可将外部ID与SID(内部帐号)相关联，接着使用SID将事务传递到经营商记帐系统，所述事务将接着产生计入无线订户帐内的适当记帐。
如先前所论述，为促进外部记帐源与记帐系统之间的事务的安全性，可在传输记帐请求之前在外部记帐源处以数字方式签署所述记帐请求。如所属领域的技术人员将了解，系统设计者可定义额外安全性、验证及授权程序以基于系统设计及/或经营商的策略来防止欺诈，且预期所有这些变化形式属于本发明的范围内。同样，外部ID及内部帐号(例如，SID)可由系统设计者视需要加以界定且并不局限于移动目录号码(MDN)、移动识别号码(MIN)、移动台身份(MSID)及/或国际移动台身份(IMSI)。此外，可使用所述外部ID中的一者以上且可将其与SID相关联。例如，可捕获MDN及MIN两者并将其与SID相关联且可能需要一者或两者来处理来自外部记帐源的记帐请求。可将相关联的外部ID及SID存储于存储媒体中以易于检索及组织，如前文中所论述。
在进一步的实施例中，所属领域的技术人员将了解，上述方法可通过执行体现于计算机可读媒体(例如计算机平台的存储器)上的程序来实施。所述指令可驻留于各种类型的信号承载或数据存储一级、二级、或三级媒体中。所述媒体可包括(例如)可由客户机装置及/或服务器存取或驻留于其中的RAM。无论是否包含于RAM、磁盘、或其它二级存储媒体内，所述指令均可存储在各种机器可读数据存储媒体上，例如DASD存储装置(例如，常规“硬驱动器”或RAID阵列)、磁带、电子只读存储器(例如，ROM或EEPROM)、快闪存储器卡、光学存储装置(例如，CD-ROM、WORM、DVD、数字光带)、纸“打孔”卡、或包含数字及模拟传输媒体在内的其它适合数据存储媒体。
因此，本发明的实施例可包含其上存储有计算机程序的计算机可读媒体，所述计算机程序用于无线订户记帐系统中的自动帐户映射。所述计算机程序包括在执行时致使计算装置(其可包含多个计算装置)执行以下过程的指令：从在无线客户机装置与无线订户记帐系统之间传递的可记帐事件获得与所述无线客户机装置相关联的外部ID；及将外部ID与用于将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统的订户ID(SID)相关联。

Claims (11)

将所述外部ID与用于将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统的订户ID相关联；
在所述无线订户记帐系统处从外部记帐源接收所述记帐请求；及
将所述记帐请求中含有的所述外部ID映射到所述订户ID。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，其进一步包括：
将所述记帐请求传递到所述经营商记帐系统。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法，其进一步包括：
在传输所述记帐请求之前，在所述外部记帐源处以数字方式签署所述记帐请求。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述外部ID包括移动目录号码(MDN)、移动识别号码(MIN)、移动台身份(MSID)及国际移动台身份(IMSI)中的至少一者。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法，其进一步包括：
将所述外部ID及所述订户ID存储于存储媒体中。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中在所述无线客户机装置与产生所述可记帐事件的运营商网络之间的第一下载事务期间捕获所述外部ID。
7.一种服务器，其包括：
用于从在无线客户机装置与无线订户记帐系统之间传递的可记帐事件捕获与所述无线客户机装置相关联的外部ID的装置；
用于将所述外部ID与用于将记帐请求传递到经营商记帐系统的订户ID相关联的装置；
用于在所述无线订户记帐系统处从外部记帐源接收所述记帐请求的装置；及
用于将所述记帐请求中含有的所述外部ID映射到所述订户ID的装置。
8.如权利要求7所述的服务器，其进一步包括：
用于将所述记帐请求传递到所述经营商记帐系统的装置。
9.如权利要求7所述的服务器，其中所述外部ID包括移动目录号码(MDN)、移动识别号码(MIN)、移动台身份(MSID)及国际移动台身份(IMSI)中的至少一者。
10.如权利要求7所述的服务器，其进一步包括：
用于将所述外部ID及所述订户ID存储于存储媒体中的装置。
11.如权利要求7所述的服务器，其中所述外部ID是在所述无线客户机装置与产生所述可记帐事件的运营商网络之间的第一下载事务期间捕获的。
