发明内容
本发明提供一种健康相关移动紧急报警系统,其通过开启经由扬声器与多个紧急联络人及监护对象的会议呼叫或通过指导所述紧急联络人提供帮助或促进干预来向所述紧急联络人发送消息及通信报警以有助于迅速提供援助。

在各种实施例中,所述紧急联络人可以是服务提供商的代表、所述监护对象的远程护理提供商、急救护理人员、护理者、同事、旅行伙伴、配偶、子女、邻居或朋友。一般来说,所述紧急联络人列表可由多个紧急联络人组成。首先的联络人可以是所述监护对象,或如果当通信被传输到所述监护对象时没有得到响应,则系统将向紧急联络人发送出消息收发报警。在某些实施例中,可发送向紧急联络人的消息以基于特定的准则选择紧急联络人,所述准则包含但不限于已更新的优先联络人列表、当日时间或遇到危急事件的选定紧急联络人的位置及接近度。

具体实施方式
如图1中所示,移动紧急报警系统10包含由监护对象14(例如患者、运动员或移动紧急报警系统10的任何其它使用者)佩戴的医疗监测器12。医疗监测器12测量所述监护对象的所需身体素质(例如血糖水平)并将任何非正常或危险水平传送给由监护对象14携载的报警、定位、追踪、消息收发及干预装置(“ALTMI”)16。ALTMI16是一种双向移动通信装置(即,能够发送及接收信息及/或数据),例如经配置以与医疗监测器12通信的移动电话。医疗监测器12可以是用以测量生理数据的任何类型的医疗监测器或传感器。医疗监测器12与ALTMI 16可通过无线技术(例如蓝牙)来通信。ALTMI 16还可能够由全球定位系统(“GPS”)18或通过来自各种蜂窝塔20的三角测量来定位。
ALTMI 16可以是单独的装置,例如上文所描述的移动电话,或者其可以是医疗监测器12的组成部分。此外,ALTMI 16可以是经配置以与医疗监测器12通信的两个单独的组件。例如,ALTMI 16可以是双向移动通信装置(例如移动电话),及用以使得所述双向移动通信装置能够与医疗监测器12通信的代理装置。在这一配置中,所述代理装置充当所述双向移动通信装置与医疗监测器12之间的转译器。通过对所述代理装置编程以与(例如)任何移动电话及任何医疗监测器12两者通信,所述代理装置可实现将此两者一起使用的较大灵活性。
ALTMI 16将来自医疗监测器12的信息(例如由医疗监测器12测量的物理参数)及来自ALTMI 16的信息(例如来自GPS 18的位置)经由蜂窝塔20发送给容纳监护对象的医疗数据库24的服务提供商22。所述监护对象的医疗数据库24包含所述监护对象的医疗记录及紧急联络人列表。所述监护对象的医疗数据库24还可驻留在ALTMI16上。当检测到危急事件时,服务提供商22开启会议呼叫并起始与数个人的呼叫,这些人可包含服务提供商的代表26、紧急联络人28及远程护理提供商30,例如医生,如下文更全面地解释。
现在参照图2及3,监护对象14通过起始激活(60)来设置ALTMI帐户(32)。可通过因特网入口、移动装置(例如移动电话或PDA)或呼入中心62来起始所述ALTMI帐户,这将需要监护对象14登录(64)。登录屏幕或登录人员66将与服务提供商数据库68共享信息。帐户设置及管理用户接口70将使得监护对象14能够检查登录、口令,确定用以设置正确协议服务的路径,设置紧急联络人28、装置设置选择及简档设置(72)。所述紧急联络人列表可包含任何人,但优选地至少包含在附近的医生、服务提供商的代表、远程护理提供商、急救护理人员、护理者、同事、旅行伙伴、配偶、子女、家庭成员、邻居及/或朋友。
监护对象14还可在任何时间通过因特网入口、移动装置或呼入中心62来修改其帐户。例如,监护对象14可修改紧急联络人28列表。当紧急联络人28(例如邻居)搬迁时或当监护对象14去度假时,此修改可是必要的。当监护对象14在度假时,监护对象14可临时修改监护对象的紧急联络人28列表以包含所述监护对象正在拜访或向其报警的人们或当地急救人员。此外,监护对象14可能会看一个以上医生,尤其是老年监护对象14。如果一个医生开出一种新的药物,监护对象14可立即更新监护对象的医疗记录而无需等待医疗记录从所述医生到达服务提供商22。
如图2中所示,在由移动紧急报警系统10实施的一个例示性过程中,当医疗监测器12指示监护对象14的经测量身体素质处于预定的紧急状况内时,医疗监测器12将发送信号。如果监护对象14具有可由ALTMI 16读取的医疗监测器12(34),则ALTMI 16可从医疗监测器12接收紧迫及/或紧要报警(36)。如果医疗监测器12不可由ALTMI 16读取时,则监护对象14可自激活ALTMI 16(38)。一旦激活ALTMI16,ALTMI 16即将起始一个或一个以上任选动作(40)。选项动作一(42)可包含其中ALTMI 16发送本地可听、振动及/或其它感观报警的本地报警。选项动作二(44)可包含ALTMI 16发送无线报警。选项动作三(46)可包含开启无线扬声器电话会议呼叫,其中ALTMI 16经由无线提供商或基于因特网协议的话音(“VoIP”)开启提供商话音通信会话。此会议呼叫起始可自动完成或由服务提供商代表完成。选项动作四(48)可包含将位置信息(例如GPS坐标)从ALTMI 16发送到服务提供商的代表26、所述监护对象的紧急联络人28及/或远程护理提供商30。选项动作五(50)可包含记录来自医疗监测器12的数据以追踪及监测危急事件。为记录所述数据,ALTMI 16可开启事件专用实时消息板以追踪危急事件历史记录并将所述数据存档。在所述选项动作中的一个或一个以上动作发生之后,采取行动来确保监护对象14的安全(52),且随后结束所述过程(54)。
现在参照图4,在由移动紧急报警系统实施的另一例示性过程中,监护对象14具有与ALTMI 16通信的医疗监测器12(34),且ALTMI 16可接收来自医疗监测器12的紧迫及/或紧要报警(36)。ALTMI 16搜索第一无线设定(其可包含可听、振动及/或其它感观报警)并激活第一无线报警(76)。监护对象14或附近的个人可关掉所述无线报警或无线通信装置上的扬声器(78)。如果关掉了ALTMI 16无线报警,则结束所述过程(92)。如果没有关掉ALTMI 16无线报警,则ALTMI 16搜索第二无线报警设定并激活第二无线报警(80)。同样,监护对象14或附近的个人可关掉所述无线报警(82)。如果关掉了ALTMI 16无线报警,则结束所述过程(92)。如果没有关掉ALTMI 16无线报警,则ALTMI 16搜索第三无线报警设定(例如响亮的可听报警)并激活第三无线报警(84)。同样,监护对象14或附近的个人可关掉所述无线报警(88)。如果关掉了ALTMI 16无线报警(86),则结束所述过程(92)。如果没有关掉ALTMI 16无线报警,则ALTMI 16无线报警根据其设定继续(90)。
现在参照图5,在由移动紧急报警系统实施的另一例示性过程中,如果监护对象14具有可由ALTMI16读取的医疗监测器12(34),则ALTMI 16可接收来自医疗监测器12的紧迫及/或紧要报警(36)。如果医疗监测器12不可由ALTMI 16读取,则监护对象14可自激活ALTMI 16(38)。一旦已激活ALTMI 16,ALTMI 16即将起始一个或一个以上任选动作,其中包含发送开启无线扬声器电话会议呼叫的无线报警请求(92)。由接警方发送并确认报警(94),所述接警方可包含服务提供商的代表26、监护对象14的紧急联络人28及/或远程护理提供商30。对所述报警的一个或一个以上确认将开启无线扬声器电话会议呼叫(96),并启用ALTMI 16上的扬声器电话(98)。所述确认方中的每一者均接收进入到所述无线会议呼叫中的即时接入以促进对监护对象14或为监护对象14的援助(100)。接警方表明身份(102)并在彼此间、向监护对象14及任何附近的个人提供信息及指令,所述信息及指令被广播到ALTMI 16扬声器电话(104)。如此递送所述信息及指令且采取必要的行动来确保监护对象14的安全及健康(106)。例如,如果监护对象14在监护对象的后院中遇到危急事件,且紧急联络人28中的一个人(例如配偶或子女)在家中,则可很快地实施医疗援助。此外,远程护理提供商30可指导紧急联络人28来提供适当的医学治疗。如果所述监护对象需要进一步援助,例如被运送到附近的医疗机构或由EMT护理,则远程护理提供商30可指导服务提供商的代表26调遣救护车。因为所有的接警方均在进行会议呼叫,所以可在无需离开监护对象14或会议呼叫的情况下迅速地讨论必要的步骤并加以实施。一旦已确保监护对象14的安全及健康,即结束所述过程(108)。
现在参照图6,如上文所描述,一旦激活ALTMI 16,ALTMI 16即将起始一个或一个以上任选动作(40)。一个选项可以是向来自监护对象的医疗数据库24的选定的紧急联络人28发送无线报警(110)。紧急联络人28可包含一个或一个以上个人。选定的紧急联络人28可基于各种准则而被选择,例如当日时间、位置、偏好或专业技术。例如,某些紧急联络人28可以是共同工作者,且将在工作时间被选择。某些紧急联络人可以是邻居,且将在晚上及夜间时间被选择。某些紧急联络人可在监护对象14旅行时被选择,如上文所描述。选定的紧急联络人28接收来自ALTMI 16的报警及各种信息,例如位置信息(例如GPS 18坐标)及医学信息(112)。可在短暂的时间间隔内重新计算所述位置及医学信息并将所述信息重新发送给选定的紧急联络人28以更新追踪ALTMI 16且因此追踪监护对象14(当监护对象14在移动时)的能力(114)。因此选定的紧急联络人28能够跟踪监护对象14的实时物理位置(116)。一旦已定位监护对象14,即如上文所描述递送及使用所述信息以确保监护对象14的安全(118)。一旦已确保监护对象14的安全及健康,即结束所述过程(120)。
现在参照图6及7,如上文所描述,一旦已激活ALTMI 16,ALTMI 16即将起始一个或一个以上任选动作(40),例如向来自所述监护对象的医疗数据库24的选定的紧急联络人28发送无线报警(110)。当选定的紧急联络人28接收到来自ALTMI 16的报警及各种信息(112及114)时,ALTMI 16保持无线连接,但寻求可借以发送来自ALTMI 16的信息的另一后备网络(134)。例如,ALTMI 16可搜索Wi-Fi网络(136)及/或WiMax网络(138)。一旦已识别其它网络,ALTMI 16即连接到新选定的网络以获得添加的位置分析及后备通信能力(140)。

应了解,希望前文说明图解说明本发明且不限定本发明的范围,本发明的范围由所附权利要求书的范围界定。其它实施例均归属于上文权利要求书的范围内。例如,虽然已将ALTMI 16描述为移动电话,但ALTMI 16可以是任何其它合适的双向移动通信装置,例如个人数字助理(“PDA”)。在这一实例中,如果所述PDA不包含话音能力,则服务提供商的代表26、紧急联络人28及远程护理提供商30可通过文本消息收发与监护对象14或向所述监护对象提供救助的人通信。同样,ALTMI 16可以是任何类型的移动电话,例如WiFi启用电话或智能电话或专用双向移动通信装置。

Claims (24)

1、一种移动紧急报警系统,其包括:
至少一个医疗监测器,其用以测量及收集监护对象的生理数据;
服务提供商,其包含包括所述监护对象的医疗记录及所述监护对象的紧急联络人列表的数据库,所述紧急联络人列表包含至少一个紧急联络人;及
双向移动通信装置,其经配置以与所述至少一个医疗监测器及所述服务提供商通信,且经配置以在检测到危急事件时将所述生理数据从所述至少一个医疗监测器传输到所述服务提供商并通过会议线路接收来自所述服务提供商及所述紧急联络人的信息。
2、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置进一步包括扬声器且所述会议线路为会议呼叫。
3、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置经配置以在检测到所述危急事件的发生时将所述生理数据传输给所述服务提供商并接收来自所述服务提供商的初步警告及一个或一个以上指令。
4、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置经配置以使得所述监护对象能够起始所述生理数据到所述服务提供商的传输并通过所述会议线路接收来自所述服务提供商及所述紧急联络人的信息。
5、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置是经配置以与所述至少一个医疗监测器通信的移动电话。
6、如权利要求5所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置是移动电话及经配置以促进所述移动电话与所述至少一个医疗监测器之间的通信的代理装置。
7、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述监护对象的所述医疗记录及所述监护对象的紧急联络人列表可由所述监护对象来修改。
8、如权利要求7所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述监护对象的所述医疗记录及所述监护对象的紧急联络人列表是通过因特网入口、移动装置或呼入中心而修改的。
9、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中选择的紧急联络人是基于特定准则从所述紧急联络人列表中挑选的。
10、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置进一步传输所述监护对象的位置坐标。
11、如权利要求10所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述监护对象的所述位置坐标选自由全球定位系统坐标及移动电话三角测量组成的群组。
12、如权利要求9所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述特定准则选自由接近度、当日时间、优先级及专业领域组成的群组。
13、如权利要求1所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置经配置以使得所述监护对象能够定位使用移动紧急报警系统的其它监护对象。
14、如权利要求13所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中使用所述移动紧急报警系统的所述其它监护对象是基于接近度及偏好而定位的。
15、一种向监护对象提供救助的方法,其包括:
监测及收集所述监护对象的生理数据;
由服务提供商接收所述监护对象的所述生理数据,其中所述服务提供商维持包括所述监护对象的医疗记录及所述监护对象的紧急联络人列表的数据库;及
当检测到危急事件时起始所述监护对象与来自所述紧急联络人列表的至少一个紧急联络人之间的会议呼叫。
16、如权利要求15所述的方法,其中包括扬声器的双向移动通信装置将所述监护对象的所述生理数据传输给所述服务提供商。
17、如权利要求16所述的方法,其中配置所述双向移动通信装置以在检测到所述危急事件的发生时将所述生理数据传输给所述服务提供商并接收来自所述服务提供商的初步警告及若干指令。
18、如权利要求15所述的方法,其中所述监护对象起始所述生理数据到所述服务提供商的所述传输。
19、如权利要求16所述的方法,其中经由所述扬声器电话来广播所述会议呼叫。
20、如权利要求15所述的方法,其中可由所述监护对象来修改所述监护对象的所述医疗记录及所述监护对象的紧急联络人列表。
21、如权利要求16所述的移动紧急报警系统,其中所述双向移动通信装置进一步将所述监护对象的位置坐标传输给所述服务提供商。
22、如权利要求15所述的方法,其中基于特定准则从所述紧急联络人列表中挑选选择的紧急联络人。
23、如权利要求16所述的方法,其中所述双向移动通信装置是经配置以与至少一个医疗监测器通信的移动电话,所述至少一个医疗监测器用于测量所述监护对象的所述生理数据。
24、如权利要求23所述的方法,其中所述双向移动通信装置是移动电话及经配置以促进所述移动电话与所述至少一个医疗监测器或传感器之间的通信的代理装置。
