技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于为照明和环境照明提供光源的新颖的照明装置。
背景技术
提供照明的电灯和其中使用的灯泡是众所周知并广泛使用的。电灯和灯泡大体分为两类,即,白炽的和荧光的。在照明的近期发展中,已经引向发光二极管(LED)。LED是半导体器件,当电流流经它时它发出可见光。LED发出的光主要是单色的,并且光的颜色由用于半导体中的特定材料决定(尽管施加在LED上的电流可用于改变感觉的颜色)。LED具有低功率需求、高效率和长寿命的优点。可混合几个不同颜色的LED的输出,从而产生其它颜色,包括白光,以及不同的亮度。LED也可用于提供背景照明以实现所需的环境效果。但是,它们具有有限的亮度,因此其通常不适合用于照明目的。此外,LED通常用于如指示灯、仪表背光和光纤数据传输这样的应用。

发明内容
本发明实现了在单个电灯器具或电灯泡中提供所需的环境或背景灯光与照明灯光。
根据本发明的实施例,其中提供了新颖的电灯,其包括用于安装发出照明灯光的照明灯泡的照明插座,多个发射出不同颜色灯光的发光二极管,其中设置有彼此相邻的照明插座和发光二极管的底座,被连接以向照明插座供电的第一电路,被连接以向发光二极管供电的第二电路,以及被连接以选择性地在第一电路和第二电路之间切换电源供应的开关装置。该照明插座是用于安装照明灯泡的插座,其中所述照明灯泡选自主要由白炽灯泡、荧光灯泡和卤素灯泡构成的组。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,根据本发明的一个实施例,电灯10包括具有平坦底部14的底座12,其可以设置在水平面上,例如桌子顶部或者书桌上,以及半透明罩16,其从底座向上延伸并且使得其中所产生的灯光从电灯发射出来。底座12包括靠近其上端的灯泡支座18。灯泡支座18用作多个发光二极管(LED)20和照明灯泡24(例如,常规旋入式白炽灯泡)的灯座22的固定座。可以看到,LED 20和照明灯泡24被设置成使得从这些装置产生的光可通过罩16发出。
如图2所示,灯泡支座18具有环形的外部18a;并且LED 20围绕着该外部而设置。灯泡支座18还包括中心部18b,其支撑照明灯泡灯座22。

如图3所示,根据本发明的另一实施例,爱迪生式灯泡40包括用于常规电灯泡灯座的螺纹的爱迪生式底座42。(当然,可将该灯泡设置成安装在其他的用于安装诸如荧光和卤素的电灯泡的常规灯座中。)半透明壳体46从底座42向上延伸。半透明壳体46使得其中产生的灯光从灯泡中发射出来。
照明支座48位于壳体46中,并用作多个LED 50和照明光源安装灯座52的固定座。灯座52安装并向白炽照明光源54供电。LED 50和照明光源54产生的灯光通过壳体46发出。壳体46可以可释放地固定在底座42上,从而允许照明光源54的替换。
如图4所示,光源支座48具有环形的外部48a。LED 50围绕该外部而分布。光源支座48还包括支撑灯座52或者在照明光源54固定地安装在支座48上而没有灯座时支撑照明光源54的中心部分48b。因为期望LED 56比任何常规照明光源更耐用,所以优选使用灯座,从而可允许替换烧坏的照明光源。

此外,将参考所描述的作为独立发光二极管的LED 50;不过,所描述的LED 50还可以是发光二极管的独立组。例如,单个LED组50可包括分别具体为红色、绿色和蓝色的三个独立发光二极管。由于这样的结构,程序控制单元64可以单独地设置每组的每个发光二极管的相关亮度,从而控制从这些组发出的颜色,即,基于独立的该组发光二极管的颜色的组合而改变所描述的LED组50所发出的颜色。用户可通过将LED组50的各个二极管紧密地设置在一起从而产生整体的颜色效应来感觉结合的颜色,或者可选地,半透明的罩(如,漫射器(diffuser))52可以被设置成覆盖每个LED 50,从而提供从每个罩52发出的单一感觉的颜色以好像它为单个像素。
程序控制单元64还包括用于从传感器66a接收信号的传感器输入66。传感器66a可以设置在灯泡40上或者远程位置。当位于远程位置时,来自传感器66a的信号通过直接连接或者无线连接(即,无线电信号、红外信号等)的方式被发射到传感器输入66。
传感器66a可感应诸如温度、声音、动作等激励。基于感应的条件,程序控制单元64可调节程序用于LED 50和照明光源54的操作。
此外,还可由用户而不是传感器,通过直接连接或无线连接而提供控制信号。例如,对于直接连接,用户可以通过拨动控制向灯泡40配合的装置供电的电源开关,简单地改变电源的供应。在这样的情况下,传感器输入66可以感应到电源并且基于电源的启动和停止时限改变装置的控制。可选地,可以设置遥控从而用户可以将控制信号(如,无线电信号、红外信号等)发送到传感器输入66。可提供这些控制选择以补充或替换开关64a和64b。
图5示出了根据本发明的另一实施例的爱迪生式灯泡70。在该实施例中,荧光照明光源55安装在灯座53上。当然,该照明光源可以被设置在常规灯泡灯座中,从而允许替换灯泡,或可选地可以将照明装置永久地固定在根据本发明的装置上。灯泡70的其它特征与图3所示灯泡40的上述讨论的相同编号的特征相似。
图6A和6B示出了体现在灯泡100中的本发明的另一实施例。灯泡100与上述实施例的相似之处在于其包括了具有旋入连接器150的底座140,其中所述旋入连接器150适于与电灯等中的常规白炽灯泡灯座配合。当然,连接器150可以是与其它常规灯座(如,荧光灯、卤素灯等)配合的许多结构中的任何一种。
灯泡100还包括半透明壳体130。壳体130容纳灯泡110。虽然可以提供其它发光装置来提供与常规灯泡相关的亮白光,不过优选地使用紧凑型荧光灯泡。(当然,灯泡110是可更换灯泡,或者更加长久固定的发光装置。)在本实施例中,讨论了多个紧凑型荧光灯泡,其被提供用于增加灯泡100的功率和壳体130内发射白光(等等)的总表面面积。
如图6A所示,紧凑型荧光灯泡110分别形成为上下颠倒的、大体成U形的结构。(当然,在保持本发明的范围的同时可采用其它的设置)。具体地,紧凑型荧光灯泡110可以在一端具有第一电极,其从这一端在远离底座140的方向向上延伸,直到靠近壳体130的顶部处自身往回折弯,然后延伸回底座140到另一端的第二电极。图6A和6B示出了两个这样的灯泡110。
可选地,紧凑型荧光灯泡110可形成具有多个分离长度的独立灯泡,其中每个灯泡从底座140向上延伸然后自身折回并延伸回底座140,同时长度相互连接,从而仅具有在总长度相对两端的两个电极。更具体地,尽管图6A和6B示出的两个独立的U形灯泡,本说明中使用的术语,多个紧凑型荧光灯泡可指如图6A和6B所示弯折多次以具有独立长度的单个紧凑型荧光灯泡。
在最优选的实施例中,多个紧凑型荧光灯泡110的总长度在约2到约21英寸的范围内,无论紧凑型荧光灯泡实际上是不同的灯泡,或者具有多个独立长度的单个灯泡。优选地,这可包括弯曲一次的大约1英寸长度,到弯曲1到3次的大约3.5英寸长度。这提供了光发射的大表面面积,从而提供照亮房间等的充足光线。此外,应该注意除了图中所示的U形结构外,紧凑型荧光灯泡110(或其它灯泡)可由任何数量的形状和结构形成。例如,可采用螺旋形或螺线形。

将用户接口170设置在底座140上,从而向用户提供了对控制板160和/或处理器166的控制。用户接口可以让用户选择LED 120和紧凑型荧光灯泡110的颜色、亮度、启动等。在所述实施例中,用户接口170是用户可拨动以在不同设置之间切换的按钮。在其它实施例中,用户接口170可更加复杂(并设置在底座140上或者远程位置上),从而使得用户能够更加复杂地控制灯泡100的工作。这可能包括程序设计的能力,其中所述程序设计包括颜色改变、各个部件的亮度改变、定时启动和/或止动等,以及它们的结合。
图7-9示出了对图6A和6B所示的灯泡的修改。具体地,其中设置了三个紧凑型荧光灯泡110(其可以包括三个不同的荧光灯泡或者单个荧光灯泡的三个不同光发射长度)。此外,各个紧凑型荧光灯泡110被设置成从底座140垂直向上延伸通过壳体130到靠近其顶部的位置。然而,在本实施例中,没有将LED 120环形地围绕靠近底座140的紧凑型荧光灯泡110而排列,而是将其设置为垂直的组,各组在分离的紧凑型荧光灯泡110之间延伸。如图9所示,在相邻的紧凑型荧光灯泡110之间延伸的每组LED 120可以被固定于分开的LED板122。这提供了稍稍不同的灯光效果,其可以更加有效地发出彩色灯光。
根据上述各种实施例,本发明提供了与常规电灯泡在尺寸、形状和兼容性上相似的灯泡,但是改进了特性和控制,包括颜色、颜色改变和灯光展示。然而,由于本发明仍然与常规灯座相匹配,并且形状一般与常规白炽灯泡的形状相似(至少在一个实施例中),所以其可用于现有的电灯器具中并容纳常规的灯罩。具体地,壳体130优选成型/按尺寸形成为能够容纳设置在常规灯罩上的连接装置,以将它固定到标准电灯泡。具体地,参考图6A,壳体130在位置132(壳体130的较宽顶部)的直径优选在约1.75到约3.25英寸的范围内,并且壳体130在位置134的直径优选约1到约3英寸。最优选的灯泡大体遵循常规灯泡尺寸A-19(在位置132测量约2.375英寸)和A-21(在位置132测量约2.625英寸)。
此外,灯泡100优选地从紧凑型荧光灯泡或者其它约160到约4200流明的发光装置中发出白光;更优选地,在约240到约2625流明的范围内;并且最优选地,在约320到约2100流明的范围内。此外,根据本发明的灯泡优选获得的功率在约5到约200瓦特范围内;更优选在约15到125瓦特范围内;且最优选在约25到约100瓦特范围内。所以,将本发明设计为用于很多常规灯泡通常使用的底座中。
然而,正如本领域普通技术人员已知的,应该认识到其它合适的光源,如卤素灯泡或者高强度放电灯泡,可用于提供照明灯光。
工业适用性
本发明提供了在单个装置中的用于照明目的和用于产生所需环境条件的灯光,其中该装置可手动调节以改变照明并且可被编程以自动地改变灯光。

Claims (18)

1.一种电灯,其包括:
照明灯座,其安装多个荧光灯泡,当供电时所述荧光灯泡发出照明灯光;
多个发光二极管,当供电时其发出不同颜色的光,该多个发光二极管以垂直的组被安装在多个发光二极管板中;
底座,在其上安装所述照明灯座和所述发光二极管板使得发光二极管的所述垂直的组位于相邻的荧光灯泡之间;
第一电路,其被连接以将电源供应到安装在所述照明灯座中的所述荧光灯泡,从而使得所述荧光灯泡发出照明灯光;
第二电路,其被连接以将电源供应到所述发光二极管,从而使得所述发光二极管发出不同颜色的光;
开关装置,其用于选择性地在所述第一电路和所述第二电路之间切换电源的应用;
接近所述底座的底部设置的用户接口;以及
可编程电路,其被连接到所述第二电路并且被设置成根据由所述用户接口指示的预定程序调节所述不同颜色的光的强度。
2.如权利要求1所述的电灯,其中,所述第一电路包括调节所述照明灯光的强度的调光器。
3.如权利要求1所述的电灯,其中,所述第二电路包括调光器,其被设置成选择性地调节所述不同颜色光的强度。
4.一种电灯泡,其包括:
多个荧光发光装置;
多个发光二极管板;
多个发光二极管,其发出不同颜色的光,所述多个发光二极管以垂直的组被安装在所述发光二极管板上;
底座,其上彼此接近地安装了所述荧光发光装置和所述发光二极管板,使得发光二极管的所述垂直的组位于相邻的荧光发光装置之间;
第一电路,其被连接以将电源供应到所述荧光发光装置;
第二电路,其被连接以将电源供应到所述发光二极管;
开关装置,其用于选择性地在所述第一电路和所述第二电路之间切换电源的应用;
用户接口;以及
可编程电路,其被连接到所述第二电路和所述用户接口,所述可编程电路被设置成根据由所述用户接口指示的预定程序调节所述不同颜色的光的强度。
5.如权利要求4所述的电灯泡,其中,所述多个荧光发光装置被安装在所述底座上的圆周中,所述多个发光二极管板位于所述圆周内。
6.如权利要求4所述的电灯泡,其中,所述第一电路包括调节所述多个荧光发光装置的强度的调光器。
7.如权利要求4所述的电灯泡,其中,所述第二电路包括被设置成用于选择性地调节所述不同颜色的光的强度的调光器。
8.如权利要求4所述的电灯泡,其还包括用于感应温度、气味、动作和声音中至少一项的传感器,
其中,所述可编程电路响应于来自所述传感器的信号来调节所述不同颜色的光的强度和颜色中的至少一项。
9.如权利要求4所述的电灯泡,其中,所述多个荧光发光装置被可释放地安装在所述电灯泡中。
10.一种电灯泡,其包括:
被设置成与电灯泡灯座相配合的底座;
被安装在所述底座上的圆周中的多个紧凑型荧光灯泡;
多个发光二极管板,在其上以垂直的组安装多个发光二极管,该发光二极管板被安装到底座上所述荧光灯泡的圆周中从而使得发光二极管的所述垂直的组位于相邻的荧光灯泡之间;
控制电路,当所述底座被安装在所述灯座中时,该控制电路从所述灯座向所述多个荧光灯泡和所述多个发光二极管供电,所述控制电路包括用户接口;以及
半透明壳体,其被安装在所述底座上并且容纳所述多个荧光灯泡和所述多个发光二极管;
用户接口;
与控制电路和所述用户接口连接的可编程电路,该可编程电路被配置成根据由所述用户接口指示的预定程序调节所述多个发光二极管的强度;以及
用于感应温度、气味、动作和声音中至少一项的传感器,
其中,所述可编程电路响应于来自所述传感器的信号来调节所述多个发光二极管的强度和颜色中的至少一项。
11.如权利要求10所述的电灯泡,其中,所述多个荧光灯泡具有约2英寸到约21英寸的长度,该多个荧光灯泡自身折回多次以形成在所述壳体内从所述底座向上延伸的多个长度。
12.如权利要求10所述的电灯泡,其中,所述多个荧光灯泡和所述多个发光二极管由公共的电路板供电。
13.如权利要求10所述的电灯泡,其中,所述多个荧光灯泡发出约160到约4200流明范围之内的光。
14.如权利要求13所述的电灯泡,其中,所述多个荧光灯泡中的至少一个发出约240到约2625流明范围内的光。
15.如权利要求14所述的电灯泡,其中,所述至少一个荧光灯泡发出约320到约2100流明范围内的光。
16.如权利要求10所述的电灯泡,其还包括存储器,用于存储限定所述至少一种所述预定显示的一个或者多个程序。
17.如权利要求10所述的电灯泡,其中,所述处理器由用户远程控制以执行下述至少一项:
i)启动多个预定显示中的一种或者多种显示;以及
ii)选择将由所述多个发光二极管从所述壳体内发出的光的一种或者多种颜色。
18.如权利要求17所述的电灯泡,其中,通过红外信号和无线信号中的一种来远程控制所述处理器。
