屏幕552可以包括禁止增湿按钮542。在一些情况下,用户也许不希望向HVAC控制器20提供增湿设置。例如,温暖的气候中,用户也许不想要或不需要运行通过HVAC控制器20所控制的比如整个房屋增湿器的增湿器。在一些情况下,用户的HVAC设备可以不包括任何增湿设备。在诸如这些的环境中,用户可以通过按压禁止增湿按钮542来去激活该功能。图14提供类似于屏幕522(图12)的示意性的屏幕552,但是图14示出了因为用户已经按压了禁止增湿按钮542,HVAC控制器20已经将滑条526变灰显示(gray out)。可以看出,文本524已经表述了增湿被禁止。在一些情况下,屏幕552可以包括使能增湿按钮554。

按窗户防霜设置按钮544(图12)可以让HVAC控制器20显示示意性的屏幕556,如图15所示的。在一些方式中,选择室内增湿设置类似于选择窗户防霜设置,因为窗户结露(condensation)的风险(尤其在寒冷天气)至少部分地是室内空气湿度的函数。然而,窗户结露也至少部分地是房屋或者其它建筑内的窗户的有效性的函数。
旧式的,比如单窗玻璃(single-pane)窗户等低效的窗户可以将相对冷的玻璃表面呈现给建筑物内热的空气。这种情况下更可能结露。相反地,较新的比如双重窗玻璃(double-pane)窗户或者甚至三重窗玻璃(triple-pane)窗户等更有效的窗户将把相对更暖和的玻璃表面呈现给建筑物内热的空气。从而,有效的窗户可以容忍相对较高的室内湿度而没有过度的窗户结露。当然,应该认识到室外温度同样可以有影响。在一些情况下,HVAC控制器20可以与外部温度传感器通信并且可以被编程以相应地调整湿度设置和/或窗户防霜设置。
屏幕556可以包括告知用户他们将选择窗户防霜设置的文本558。屏幕556包括具有标度562、显示564、向左箭头532以及向右箭头534的滑条560。标度562可以包括以相对或定性术语(诸如“较低效率”和“较高效率”)描述窗户防霜设置的文本。将认识到这是指建筑物内窗户的相对有效性。如示意的,显示564可以提供提示,该提示是正被显示的是窗户能量有效性设置。

图16示出了可以包括指示用户选择或设置他们的除湿设置的文本568的示意性屏幕566。HVAC控制器20可以例如使用除湿设置来控制除湿器或者空气交换器的运行。屏幕566包括具有标度572、显示574、向左箭头532和向右箭头534的滑条570。标度572可被看作包括以比如“干”、“舒适区”、“湿”等相对或定性的术语来描述除湿设置的文本。这些具体的术语仅是代表性的,因为其它术语同样也可以被使用。更通常地,标度527可以给特定的湿度值(例如42%)提供定性的内容使得不熟悉湿度值的用户仍能够选择合适的湿度设置。

如示意的,屏幕566可以包括禁止除湿按钮578。按压禁止除湿按钮578可以使HVAC控制器20显示示意屏幕580,如图17中所示的。可以看到屏幕580中,滑条570已经被变灰显示。文本568也可以包括提示用户除湿已被禁止的消息。如果例如用户的HVAC设备不包括除湿器或空气交换器,那么用户也许希望禁止除湿。在一些情况下,屏幕580可以包括使能除湿按钮582。

图18至图21提供示意性的但非限制性的关于查看和/或改变HVAC控制器20内的偏好且可以通过HVAC控制器20被显示的屏幕的示例。特别地,图18提供示意性的屏幕700,显示屏幕700响应于按压或另外选择偏好按钮166(图11),可以被HVAC控制器20显示以便查看和/或改变偏好信息。
屏幕700包括导航条702,其向用户提供关于他们在菜单结构中所在位置的信息。如果需要,上级菜单(previous menu)按钮704允许用户返回上级菜单。在一些情况下,按上级菜单按钮704可以使HVAC控制器20回复至屏幕150(图11)。屏幕700可以包括多个可以为其选择偏好的菜单项。在一些情况下,可以存在比能同时显示在屏幕700上的菜单项更多的菜单项。因此在一些情况下,屏幕700可以包括向上箭头按钮730和向下箭头按钮732,使得用户可以向上和/或向下滚动经过菜单项。在图18中,示出不同的菜单项,其包括被显示在屏幕700外部的一些菜单项。应当理解到,这只是示意性的,并且向上箭头按钮730和/或向下箭头按钮732可以被用来在屏幕700上滚动经过这些不同的菜单项。

例如,如果用户按压显示选项按钮712,HVAC控制器20可以显示图19中所示的示意性屏幕776。导航条702给用户提供其在等级菜单结构中的位置的指示。上级菜单按钮704允许用户回复至先前屏幕。屏幕776可以包括例如背光按钮778、对比度按钮780以及屏幕保护按钮782中的一个或多个。这些是能被定制或者能够由用户另外修改的显示选项。
按图19中的背光按钮778可以使HVAC控制器20显示如图20中所示的示意性屏幕784。屏幕784可以包括指示用户设置他们的惰性(inactive)背光等级的文本786。滑条788包括标度790、显示792、向左箭头794以及向右箭头796。标度790可以提供比如暗淡和明亮等相对的或定性的术语。如所示的,显示792可以提供提示,该提示是正被设置的背光等级。滑条788包括指示器798,需要时,可以使用向左箭头794和/或向右箭头796来将指示器798向左和/或向右移动。指示器按钮798可以相对于标度790提供相对或定性的背光等级的可视化指示并且如果需要,可以包括与标度790相互配合的指针。在一些情况下,指示器按钮798可以包括背光等级设置的数字表示。在一些情况下,数字表示的范围可以从0至10、或者也许从1至10。

Claims (23)

1.一种被配置以控制HVAC系统的一个或多个组件的HVAC控制器(10;20),所述HVAC控制器(10;20)包括:
触摸屏点阵显示器(22);
与所述触摸屏点阵显示器(22)通信的控制器(12),该控制器(12)被配置以运行至少部分地控制所述HVAC系统的所述一个或多个组件的算法,该算法包括运行参数;以及
控制器(12),其被配置以在触摸屏点阵显示器(22)上显示用于使用在调整运行参数中的参数调整单元(526;560;570;788;803),所述参数调整单元(526;560;570;788;803)包括至少为所述运行参数的当前设置提供定性指示的指示器(528;562;572;790;804)。
