技术领域
本发明大体涉及可解码标记读取终端，尤其涉及包括光学滤波器的光学标记读取终端。
背景技术

发明内容

具体实施方式
在图1所示的示意实施例中，提供了光学标记读取终端100，光学标记读取终端100包括外壳52，该外壳52包括头部54和手柄部56，其中手柄部56进一步包括把手58和触发器60。该触发器60可以被用于启动信号以激活帧读出和/或特定解码处理。该光学标记读取终端100的其他部件可以设置在外壳52内。例如，图像传感器62可设置在外壳窗口63后面的头部54内。图像传感器62可以被配置成输出代表图像传感器上的入射光的电信号。

光学标记读取终端100例如可被用于POS中的条形码读取和解码，以及其他应用。本领域技术人员可以理解光学标记读取终端100的其他应用在本公开的范围内。
具有可解码标记的产品可以被光学标记读取终端100扫描。此处使用的“可解码标记”意思是指信息的表示，例如用包括字母数字和非字母数字字符的字符串的条形码符号的表示。可解码标记可被用于例如用包括代表数字的12个编码的符号字符的UPC条形码来传递信息，例如产品的来源和型号的识别。光学标记读取终端可以被配置为输出与可解码标记对应的解码的消息数据。

在POS和其他许多的应用中，成像设备的关键挑战之一就是对强烈照明的需要。照明的强烈幅度直接与条形码扫描/成像设备的移动容忍性能有关。设备的用户满意度取决于设备所表现出的高移动容忍度，同时要求感知的照明强度尽可能低。
为了降低感知照明强度，条形码扫描/成像设备的外壳窗口可以被配置为只通过红色光谱区域的光。这种方法的好处包括更稳定的曝光和更均衡的图像。但是，红色外壳窗口会削弱其他(非红色)光谱区域的光，从而会产生单色的图像，可能会导致图像内容的损失。明净的外壳窗口，另一方面，则会通过所有未被滤除的彩色光谱，但会导致更强的感知照明。
为了应对上述挑战，在一实施例中，光学标记读取终端包括光学带通滤波器，该滤波器设置在图像传感器上入射光的光学路径上，并配置为平衡色彩内容和感知照明。在一个实施例中，光学带通滤波器被配置为通过一个或多个选择的波长范围的光，并削弱所选范围之外的波长的光。在另外一个实施例中，光学标记读取终端包括多带光学带通滤波器，该多带光学带通滤波器被配置为通过两个或多个选择的波长范围的光，并削弱所选范围之外的波长的光。具有多带光学带通滤波器的光学标记读取终端可被用于单色应用中，也可被用于彩色应用中。
图3示出了光学标记读取终端的一实施例的框图。光学标记读取终端100包括多像素图像传感器62，其在一实施例中可由电荷耦合器件(CCD)图像传感器提供。在另一实施例中，图像传感器62可由互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)图像传感器提供。本领域技术人员可理解其他类型的图像传感器在本公开范围内。
图像传感器62包括具有按像素行和列排列的像素的多像素图像传感器阵列3074、列电路3076和行电路3078。与图像传感器62相关联的是放大器电路3080和模数(A/D)转换器3082，模数(A/D)转换器3082配置成将从多像素图像传感器阵列3074读出的模拟信号形式的图像信息转换成数字信号形式的图像信息。还与图像传感器62相关联的是时序和控制电路3084，用于控制，例如图像传感器62的曝光周期，和/或应用于放大器3080的增益。所述的电路部件62、3080、3082和3084可以被封装在共同的图像传感器集成电路3086内。在一个实例中，图像传感器集成电路3086可由从美光科技(Micron Technology)公司得到的MT9V022图像传感器集成电路提供。在另外一个实例中，图像传感器集成电路3086可以合并拜耳(Bayer)模式滤波器。
在操作中，图像信号可从图像传感器62读出，被转换并存储在一个或多个存储器(例如RAM 3090)中。存储器3092包括RAM 3090，例如EPROM 3094等的非易失性存储器，以及例如由闪存或者硬驱动存储器所提供的储存装置3096。
在一个实施例中，光学标记读取终端100包括处理器3088，其被配置成读取存储在存储器3092中的图像数据，并能将这些图像数据应用到各种的图像处理算法中。在一个实施例中，处理器3088被配置为通过处理代表从图像传感器62读出的模拟信号的数字信号，来输出与扫描的可解码标记对应的解码的消息数据。
光学标记读取终端100还包括直接存储器访问单元(DMA)3098，用于路由从图像传感器62读出的经过转换的图像信息到RAM 3090。在另外一个实施例中，光学标记读取终端100可以使用系统总线，所述系统总线提供用于总线仲裁机制(例如，PCI总线)，这样就不再需要中央DMA控制器了。本领域技术人员可理解提供用于在图像传感器62和RAM 3090之间进行有效的数据传输的系统总线架构和/或直接存储器访问部件的其他实施例也在本公开范围内。
光学标记读取终端100还包括成像透镜组件3100，用于将可解码标记1032的图像聚焦到图像传感器62上。成像光线绕着光轴3102传输。光学标记读取终端100还包括照明组件3104，照明组件3104包括一个或多个照明光源库3106，所述照明光源库3106包括一个或多个LED以便生成与图像传感器62视野充分对应的照明图案。
在一个实施例中，每个照明LED都可以由具有不同光谱特征的多个管芯形成。在另一实施例中，一个或者多个照明LED可以具有不同的光谱特征。因此，照在光学标记上的光的光谱由单个LED上具有不同光谱特征的多个不同管芯形成，或者由具有不同光谱特征的多个LED形成。在进一步的方面，照在标记上的光的光谱在不同的标记区域可以改变。
在一个实施例中，光学标记读取终端100还可以包括瞄准图案光源库3108，其包括一个或者多个LED，用于生成瞄准图案。在操作中，以将瞄准图案投射到编码的符号字符3032上这种方式由终端100的操作者将终端100相对于产品3030定向。

在图3所示的实施例中，光学带通滤波器3110可以设置在外壳窗口63和成像透镜组件3100之间。在另一实施例中，滤波器模块3110可以设置在，例如，但不限于，在成像透镜组件3100和图像传感器62之间，在成像透镜组件3100的表面，或者在图像传感器62的微透镜3077的表面。在另一实施例中，滤波器模块3110可以被，比如，但不限于，内置于成像透镜组件3100中，内置于图像传感器62的微透镜3077中，或者内置于外壳窗口63中。
在一个实施例中，光学带通滤波器3110可以使用一个或者多个多层涂层来制造，该多层涂层可被施加于光学透明基板。
在另一实施例中，光学带通滤波器3110可以使用周期结构来制造，该周期结构由单种材料或者多种不同材料形成，并在一维或者多维具有重复的特性。本领域技术人员可理解制造光学带通滤波器的其它技术在本公开范围内。
在进一步的方面，光学带通滤波器3110可通过以下特征进行描述：
中心波长(CWL)是通带中心的波长；
半最大值全宽(FWHM)是最大透射率50％处的带宽；
峰值透射率(T)是最大透射率的波长；
阻塞范围是滤波器不透射的光谱区域。
在一个实施例中，光学带通滤波器3110的CWL可被配置为与照明光光谱匹配。在图4所示的一个示意实施例中，光学带通滤波器CWL等于635nm，FWHM等于65nm以适应光线角度和LED变化(对于具有624nm的峰值波长、617nm的主导波长、公差+7/-5nm的琥珀色LED)。
在另一实施例中，光学带通滤波器包括额外的通带410，其可被配置为，例如，与白光的蓝色峰值匹配，如图5所示。在另一实施例中，光学带通滤波器包括额外的通带，其被配置为与便携式通信设备的屏幕所发射的背光匹配，这样的便携式通信设备，例如是，但不仅限于，PDA或者蜂窝电话。
在另一实施例中，光学带通滤波器包括两个额外的通带510、520，其被配置为，例如，与白光的蓝色峰值和绿色峰值匹配，如图6所示。

8.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，进一步包括一个或者多个照明LED，所述照明LED被配置为照明承载可解码标记的基板。
9.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，进一步包括一个或者多个具有不同光谱特征的照明LED，所述一个或者多个照明LED被配置为照明承载可解码标记的基板。
10.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，进一步包括一个或者多个照明LED，所述一个或者多个照明LED中的每个照明LED均包括一个或者多个具有不同光谱特征的管芯；
其中所述一个或者多个照明LED被配置为照明承载可解码标记的基板。
11.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，进一步包括一个或者多个照明LED，其被配置为通过发射具有照明光光谱的光来照明承载可解码标记的基板；
其中所述照明光光谱在所述基板的不同区域改变。
12.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，进一步包括一个或者多个照明LED，其被配置为通过发射具有照明光光谱的光来照明所述基板；
其中所述光学带通滤波器的中心波长被配置为与所述照明光光谱匹配。
13.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，其中所述光学带通滤波器包括被配置为与便携式通信设备发射的背光匹配的通带。
14.如权利要求1所述的光学标记读取终端，其中所述外壳由手持外壳提供。
