Abstract

Description

多端口组合式插座组件
本发明涉及一种装在印刷电路板上供高速传输数据用的多端口组合式插座组件。
传输数字数据普遍使用组合式插座,这样,多个装置就可以使用某些计算设备,因而这些计算设备须具有多个组合式插座。为降低在成本和在空间上的要求,这些组合式插座迄今都是并排汇集在一个外壳中,以便装在印刷电路(PC)板上,如图1中所示。鉴于现代计算机有很多数据传输速度都很高,因而这类多端口组合式插座沿其整体外壳外表面还配备有屏蔽件。此外,同一个印刷电路板的边上装上许多组合式插座也有好处,但随着部件的数目增加,采用图1中所示的现有技术解决办法中的接插件组件的长度随之增大了,因为这些组合式插座是排成单行的。可是接插件组件的长度受到了计算机外部尺寸和装接插件组件所在的印刷电路板长度的限制。因此最好增加端口数而无需增加接插件的长度。这样做时,必须确保用来与插座连接的组合式插头的弹性锁定件容易达及,以便使插头容易从插座释放出来。象10 Base T之类的某些数据传输标准要求接插件组件在甚高速传输数据时,以及在高电压下时可靠地工作。高数据传输速度(例如100兆赫)要求有效的屏蔽作用,而高电压则意味着各信号触点应与接地回路有充分的间距,以避免产生跳火。
因此本发明的目的是提供一种端口的数目增加了而无需增加组件的长度、用来安装在印刷电路板上的多端口组合式插座组件。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种能可靠地与在高数据传输速度和高压下工作(例如按10BaseT标准工作)的系统工作、装设在印刷电路板上的多端口组合式插座组件。
本发明还有一个目的,即提供一种可顺利锁定与其连接的互补组合式插头并顺利地解除锁定、低成本的小型组合式插座组件。
本发明的上述目的是通过提供这样一种装设在印刷电路板(PCB)的组合式插座接插件组件达到的,该组件有一个公用的主外壳,主外壳中装有许多插座接插件,这些接插件的插头承接部分和印刷电路板安装部分弯成大约90度角,所述组件的特征在于,插座接插件分上下排配置,基本上互成镜像排列,两排基本上平行于印刷电路板,因而导电中间屏蔽板可以安置在该两排之间,抑制两排之间的相互影响。
一种用于安装在印刷电路板上的电气接插件组件,有多个插座接插件和一个公用的主外壳,各插座接插件有一个插件,它具有多个装在绝缘部分中的并排的端子,端子有一个插头接触部分和成90度延伸出来的印刷电路板接触部分,插座接插件牢靠地装设在公用主外壳中,所述组件的特征在于,插座接插件具有印刷电路板安装部分和插头承接部分,用来与基本上相同的互补插头接插件配套用,插座接插件以上排下排配置,使上排与下排的插头承接部分基本上彼此成镜像对称配置,从而使当接插件组件装配到排,排基本上平行于印刷电路板。
现在参看附图说明本发明的最佳实施例。
图1是现有技术的单排多端口组合式插座组件。
图2是本发明供装设在印刷电路板上的多端口组合式插座组件。

首先参看图1,从图中可以看到现有技术的组合式插座组件2′有单排并排着的组合式插座4′装在装设在屏蔽件8′内的整体外壳6′中。组合式插座4′有多个并排的柔韧弹性金属丝触点10,供与插入组合式插座4′的插头承接部分12′中的互补组合式插座电接触之用,这样,触点10′就整体地与延伸在接插件组件2′底表面16′下方的印刷电路板插脚部分连接在一起。外屏蔽件8′的正面18′上有许多切口17′,供组合式插头通过,插入承接部分12′中。屏蔽件8′有许多接地接头从接插件2′纵端20′底表面16′下方伸出。插脚14′和接地接头22′都坐落在印刷电路板(PCB)相应经镀覆的通孔中,供与印刷电路板电连接用。
组合式插座4′还有一个锁定突起24′能与互补组合式插头的弹性锁定臂配合,供将积木式插头牢靠锁定到其上之用。通过使组合式插头的锁定臂弹性偏向内侧,再将插头拔出,就可以将插头从组合式插座4′拆除。接插件组件2′的正面18′贴近里面装有印刷电路板的计算机外表面配置,这样就可以多个面触及组件式插座4′,用手不难触及锁定件。
在现有技术的这种解决方案中,为增加端口4′的数目,需要扩大接插件组件2′的长度,而这个长度是受印刷电路尺寸的限制的。
现在参看图2和图3,从图中可以看到,作为本发明最佳实施例的组合式插座接插件组件2有第一排3的组合式插座4和第二排5的组合式插座7装在被外屏蔽件8包围着的公用主外壳6中。组合式插座4,7有许多并排的弹性金属丝触点10,供将互补组合式插头与PCB互连之用,触点10有许多插头接触部分9与在接插件组件2的下安装表面16下方延伸的PCB接触部分14相连接。组合式插座4、7分别具有插头承接部分11、12和PCB安装部分13、15,插头承接部分11、12有许多空腔,空腔的轮廓制成可以承接组合式插头的形状。
外屏蔽件8的前屏蔽件18(参看图11-15)由金属板冲压制成,它有许多切口17供互补组合式插头通过,插入组合式插座4,7的插头承接部分11、12中,屏蔽件8还有一个后屏蔽件19,(参看图8-10),后屏蔽件的重叠部分21中有许多锁定切口23,重叠部分21重叠到前屏蔽件18的向后部分24上,该部分有许多冲压出的接头26,嵌入屏蔽件的空腔23中,以便将前后屏蔽件18和19联锁在一起。参看图10,后屏蔽件的侧壁28也许多窗切口30可与从前屏蔽件18的侧壁34冲压出的突起32(参看图12)接合,同样用以确保前后屏蔽件之间的机械连接。前屏蔽件18有许多接地接头36从侧壁34的下端38伸出,后屏蔽件19同样也有许多接地接头40在侧壁28的下端42突出,接地接头36、40可嵌入PCB的镀覆通孔中,供与其接地回路电连接之用。
现在参看图3-6,可以看到公用主外壳6是由绝缘材料制成的整体模压构件,其外侧壁46在顶壁48与底壁50之间延伸。一对间壁52、54为中间屏蔽件承接槽56所分隔,在两对置着的侧壁46之间平行于顶壁48和底壁50延伸,但配置在该两壁之间的中间。下排组合式插座3以第一间壁54和下壁50为界,上排组合式插座5以第二间壁52和上壁48为界。公用外壳6有一个前表面58和一个后表面60,顶壁48和侧壁46即在该前后两表面之间延伸。间壁52、54从前表面58延伸到位于前表面58与后表面60之间的中间表面62。上下排插座5、3各自的多个上空腔66和下空腔64在前表面58与中间表面62之间延伸,分别适宜承接上组合式插座插件70和下组合式插座插件68(参看图3)。
在图1所示的现有技术解决方案中,我们知道已采用过下插件68,该插件(参看图3)有一个在另一个部件上方模制成的第一绝缘部分72和一个在另一个部件上方模制成的第二绝缘部分74,两者都模制在弹性金属丝端子10上方,牢牢地将它们固定在一起。第二模制在另一部件上的部分74(以下简称上模制部分)的横向突起(见图3和图4)与整体固定到主外壳6和伸入主外壳6空腔64、66中的弹性锁定件78配合作用就可以把下插件68牢靠地装入主外壳6中。下插件68的第一上模制部分72坐落在平行毗邻下间壁54的槽80中,因而使与外壳6形成一个整体与外壳空腔64在一起的梳状部分84将各弹性触点10与其附近的另一靠近的自由端82分隔开,从而使弹性触点10的自由端靠在梳状部分的锥形制动面上对其施加预应力。梳状部分84的作用是引导弹性触点10并使其妥善就位,槽80也通过引导第一上模制部分72确保触点10妥善固定就位。
上排5的插头承接部分15实质上是下排3插头承接部分13的镜像,因而梳状部分86和槽87承接上插件70使弹性触点10妥善就位。但上插件70的设计与下插件18不同,其目的是使插头接触部分9与PCB接触部分14互连起来,以便与印刷电路板接触,因而周知的下插件68不能用。
上插件组件70由第一过模制(over-moulded)部分88和第二过模制(over-moulded)部分90组成,后者与前者基本上成90度角延伸,而上插件70的第一和第二过模制部分88和90比下插件68的过模制部分72、74长,因而上插件70可以装在下插件68上,如图3所示。上插件70的第一过模制部分88的屏蔽件92上有突出的锁定部分,供与外壳6上空腔66中的弹性锁定件77配合作用,将插件70牢牢固定在其中。
参看图3和图16-18,可以看到上下插件68与70之间配置有中间屏蔽件92,供减小两者之间的相互干扰。中间屏蔽件92由第一板部分94和第二板部分96组成,第一板部分94嵌入外壳6的间壁52与54之间的槽56中,第二板部分96垂直于第一板部分94延伸,分别配置在下插件68和上插件70的第二过模制部分74、90之间。第二板部分的端部有小侧壁98垂直于第二板部分延伸,其接地接头100在其下端102下方延伸,供与PCB的接地回路电连接之用。第一板部分94为槽104所分隔,供容纳外壳6在间壁52与54之间延伸的结构壁部分108用(见图4和图7)。中间屏蔽件92和前后屏蔽件18、19都与端子10间隔充分的间距,例如3毫米,供防止它们之间产生“闪络”之用,即因各端子与地之间的高电位差而引起的通过大气或绝缘外壳的电流通路。同样,接地接头36、40、100也都分别配置在屏蔽件18、90、90的侧壁34、28、98上,与PCB的部分14间隔一定的距离。
装配接插件时,先把下插件68装入外壳空腔64中,直到它们通过弹性锁定件78与锁定突起76的配合作用完全锁定就偿还为止。接着将中间屏蔽件92装入外壳6中,即将第一板部分94插入间壁52与54之间的槽56中,直到中间屏蔽件的第二件部分96靠在主外壳6的后表面62上为止。这时插件70可以通过槽87中第一过模制部分88的配合插入相应的空腔中,直到锁定件92、76接合为止。接着可以将外前屏蔽件18安置在前表面58上,并将屏蔽护件19插到后表面60上,直到其锁定腔23与屏蔽护件18的锁定突起26接合为止,将各防屏蔽件牢牢锁定在一起。这样,触点组件69和70就很好地与外界隔离开来,不受外界的影响,并免受毗邻排3和5之间的相互干扰。
除将端口数目加倍而无需增加长度外,将插头承接部分11、12镜像对称配置还有其它一些好处。第一个好处是,由于背靠背配置,因而容易解除与贴近外部上下侧27、16的组合式插座锁定部分24接合的互补组合式插头的弹性锁定作用。此外,过模制部分88、90(因而各端子也都)尽量靠近下插件件组件68配置,因而上插件70可以制造得较小,从而减少用料量。上排5与下排3以同样的方式配置时就不能这样做了,在此情况下,第一上模制插件88会毗邻外壳顶壁48,因而尺寸较大。
因此,上述构思具有这样的好处:结构紧凑,装配简单,屏蔽性能良好,不仅避免了外界的干扰,还避免了毗邻各组合式插座排之间的内部相互干扰,特别是提供了大量的端口,供以紧凑的配置方式装设到印刷电路板上,同时还可轻易地将互补屏蔽式插头插接其中并从其中拔除。

Claims (11)

1.一种用于安装在印刷电路板(PCB)上的电气接插件组件(2),有多个插座接插件(4,7)和一个公用的主外壳(6),各插座接插件有一个插件(68,70),它具有多个装在绝缘部分(74,72,88,90)中的并排的端子(10),端子(10)有一个插头接触部分(9)和成90度延伸出来的印刷电路板接触部分(14),插座接插件牢靠地装设在公用主外壳(6)中,所述组件(2)的特征在于,插座接插件具有印刷电路板安装部分(13,15)和插头承接部分(11,12),用来与基本上相同的互补插头接插件配套用,插座接插件以上排(5)下排(3)配置,使上排(5)与下排(3)的插头承接部分(11,12)基本上彼此成镜像对称配置,从而使当接插件组件装配到排(3,5)时,排(3,5)基本上平行于印刷电路板。
2.如权利要求1所述的接插件组件,其特征在于,排(3,5)之间配置有导电中间屏蔽件(92),用来抑制排之间的相互干扰。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的接插件组件,其特征在于,插头承接部分(11,12)配置得使插头接插件用以固定到插座接插件(4,7)的锁定件可容易地从接插件组件(2)对置的上侧面(27)下侧面(16)及下侧面(16)与印制电路板邻接。
4.如权利要求1或2所述的接插件组件,其特征在于,上排(5)的插件(70)装设在下排(3)的插件(68)上,从而使其各自的插头承接部分(15,12)基本上背靠背配置,其各自的印刷电路板接触部分(14)基本上平行配置。
5.如权利要求4所述的接插件组件,其特征在于,中间屏蔽件(92)呈L字形,从而使其在各插头承接部分(11,12)之间和印刷电路板装设部分(13,15)之间的上下排(5,3)之间起屏蔽作用。
