Abstract

技术领域
本发明总体涉及光纤电缆组件,并更具体地说,涉及用于使用通用占用面积将光纤电缆组件耦合到光纤设备的平台。
背景技术
例如像光纤局域网(LAN)等光纤通信系统普遍包括光纤设备,如机架、框架、子框架或外壳,以提供用于连接大量连接器化(connectorized)的光纤。举例来说,光纤电缆组件可以被配置为包括护套内的多根光纤的干线。干线内的多根光纤然后可以在分叉位置处岔分成多根连接器化的光纤(即,“支线”)。
通常,光纤电缆组件在分叉位置处被固定在光纤设备内。举例来说,可通过在分叉位置处使用绑扎带(tie-wraps)、夹具或其它特征结构将分叉位置固定到光纤设备内的表面。然而,目前存在各种各样具有众多分叉配置的光纤电缆组件。因此,光纤设备必须具有与一个或多个特定类型光纤电缆组件匹配的接合特征结构。举例来说,具有用以接受第一配置的夹具的接合特征结构的光纤设备将无法固定使用第二配置的夹具的光纤电缆组件。另外,光纤设备可能具有仅接受一种类型的光纤电缆组件的接合特征结构。可能需要提供新的或改进的光纤设备来接受不同的光纤电缆组件,此举的成本可能较高。
发明内容
本文描述的实施方案是针对使光纤设备能够具有通用占用面积以使得任何类型的光纤电缆组件均可固定到光纤设备的平台。可互换平台允许多种电缆应用的耦合。在此方面,在一个实施方案中,用于将至少一个光纤电缆组件连接到光纤设备的平台包括:耦合表面,所述耦合表面具有至少一个电缆接合特征结构,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成将至少一个光纤电缆组件耦合到所述耦合表面;以及多个板接合特征结构,所述多个板接合特征结构被配置成可去除地耦合到定位在所述光纤设备上的多个设备接合特征结构。

具体实施方式
一般来说,本发明的实施方案是针对使具有各种配置的光纤电缆组件固定在具有通用连接占用面积的光纤设备内的部件。光纤电缆组件可以固定到光纤设备,如机架、框架、子框架等,以实现光纤网络,例如像光纤局域网(LAN)。在一些情况下,光纤电缆组件被配置为在分叉处拆分成多个支线的干线。支线可以被配置为多根光缆和/或光纤。分叉被固定到光纤设备的表面以提供光纤管理以及光纤保持力。光纤电缆组件的通常被连接器化的支线随后被插入到光纤设备内的期望插座中。在其它情况下,光缆组件被配置为不具有分叉的单一光缆。本文描述的实施方案有利地允许各种样式的分叉(或光纤电缆组件的其它部件,如连接器和光纤电缆)可以连接到通用占用面积,而不管物理差异如何。
更具体地说,本发明的实施方案包括具有一个或多个光缆组件配置专用的耦合表面的平台。所述平台包括被配置成与光纤设备内提供的通用占用面积配合的多个板接合特征结构。以此方式,所述平台充当光纤设备与光纤电缆组件之间的接口,从而允许任何类型的光缆组件安装在光纤设备内,而不管配置如何。
本文中具体参考附图来详细地描述各种实施方案。
首先参考图1A和图1B,示出了用作光纤设备170的表面板172与一个或多个光纤电缆组件140之间的接口的平台100的一个实例。应注意到,图2描绘了耦合到图1A和图1B中描绘的平台的光纤电缆组件140,并且图3A和图3B描绘了安装在光纤设备170中的相同平台。下文将更详细地描述图2、图3A以及图3B。
具体参考图1A和图1B,示例性平台100通常包括可以永久地或可去除地耦合一个或多个光纤电缆组件的耦合表面102。耦合表面102可以被配置成接受仅一种样式或配置的光纤电缆组件(其实例在下文进行描述),或超过一种样式或配置。更具体地说,耦合表面102包括根据所需光纤电缆组件的样式或配置设计的多个电缆接合特征结构。耦合表面102可以被配置成通过光纤电缆组件的分叉内存在的特征结构或耦合到光纤电缆组件的分叉的夹具中提供的特征结构来耦合到光纤电缆组件的干线。
在所示的实施方案中,耦合表面102上的多个电缆接合特征结构被设计成通过一个或多个带子,如绑扎带或Velcro带(参见图2),附接一个或多个光纤电缆组件(例如,图2中描绘的光纤电缆组件140)。更具体地说,示例性实施方案的多个电缆接合特征结构由第一电缆接合特征结构120a到120d、第二电缆接合特征结构122以及第三电缆接合特征结构124界定。如图1A和图1B中所示,电缆接合特征结构可以被配置为耦合表面102中的开口。应理解,实施方案不局限于贯穿附图描绘的接合特征结构的配置和放置,因为本发明的实施方案可以根据任何已知的或有待开发的光纤电缆组件和/或分叉来利用。
多个电缆接合特征结构120a到120d、122和124被设计为可以穿过其中围绕光纤电缆组件140安置和缠绕一个或多个带子的穿通特征结构。第一电缆接合特征结构120a到120d被配置为带子150可以围绕其定位的开口121和突出部123。在所示的实施方案中具有窄部分和宽部分(即,大体“T”形状)的突出部123在开口121内延伸。参考图2,包括干线141和分叉位置处不具有专用分叉硬件的多个支线142的光纤电缆组件140通过绑扎带150耦合到平台100,所述绑扎带150缠绕在干线141的一部分以及电缆接合特征结构120c的突出部周围。
第二电缆接合特征结构122被配置为可以接受光纤电缆组件的特征结构或如上所述的带子的通孔。类似地,第三电缆接合特征结构124被配置为方形通孔,光纤电缆组件的特征结构可以安置到所述方形通孔中,或一个或多个带子150可以定位到所述方形通孔中,以固定一个或多个光纤电缆组件。如上所述,任何数量以及任何配置的电缆接合特征结构可以提供在耦合表面102处。
平台100还包括多个板接合特征结构110,所述多个板接合特征结构110被布置和配置成与由光纤设备170的表面板172上的设备接合特征结构173界定的通用占用面积配合。应理解,实施方案不局限于图1A、图1B、图2、图3A到图3C中描绘的特定板接合特征结构110和设备接合特征结构173,因为其它配置也是可能的。在当前的示例性实施方案中,平台100包括从耦合表面102延伸的侧壁104,以使得板接合特征结构110位于侧壁104的底部处。针对每个侧壁104提供两个板接合特征结构110;然而,可提供更多或更少的板接合特征结构110。虽然板接合特征结构110被示出位于两个侧壁的底部处,但平台100可以不包括侧壁,以使得板接合特征结构110直接从耦合表面102延伸出来。
所示的实施方案的板接合特征结构110通常是钩状的,因为它们包括窄垂直部分109,以及基本上与窄垂直部分109正交的宽水平部分111。如下文更详细描述,宽水平部分111装配到表面板172上的接合狭槽173中,并且平台100被移位,以使得表面板172的厚度定位在宽水平部分111与侧壁104之间,从而防止平台100被从表面板172提离。也可以利用具有防止平台100的向上运动的不同配置的其它板接合特征结构。
仍参考图1A和图1B,所示平台100还包括锁定机构112,所述锁定机构112可操作以将平台100可释放地附接到光纤设备170的表面板172。所示的实施方案的锁定机构被配置为装载有弹簧的销112,所述装载有弹簧的销112的端部113定位在配置为表面板172内的孔洞的保持开口174内。装载有弹簧的销112可以被提起,从而使平台100解锁,并且可以被偏置,以使得端部113在向下方向上偏置。
在所示的实施方案中,装载有弹簧的销112安置在从前壁106的底缘正交地延伸的凸缘107中,前壁106的底缘从耦合表面102延伸。应理解,术语如“前”、“后”、“上”、“下”等仅是为了方便而使用,并且无意在方向上限制本文描述的实施方案的部件。举例来说,凸缘107可以从后壁108延伸。凸缘107使装载有弹簧的销112定位成较靠近表面板172。在其它实施方案中,凸缘可以不从前壁106的底缘延伸。举例来说,装载有弹簧的销112可以安置在耦合表面102中,或安置在从耦合表面102延伸的凸缘内。
本文描述的平台100可以由任何合适的刚性材料制成。举例来说,平台100可以由模制塑料材料制成。在其它实施方案中,平台100可以由金属(如铝)制成。响应于光纤电缆组件上的外力,平台100应将光纤电缆组件牢固地维持到光纤设备170上。
具体参考图3A到图3D,描绘了将平台100插入到光纤设备170中。图3A描绘了在固定到表面板172之前的平台100。平台100将耦合的表面板172是光纤设备170的底板,所述底板可以是机架、框架、子框架或任何其它部件。应理解,表面板172还可以是光纤设备170的一个或多个壁,或光纤设备170的顶部。
所示的表面板172包括由配置为狭槽的四个设备接合特征结构173界定的一个通用占用面积171。通用占用面积171还包括用于接受装载有弹簧的销112的保持开口174。在整个光纤设备170中可以存在许多通用占用面积。通用占用面积提供光纤设备170内可以固定平台100(和光纤电缆组件)的位置。
设备接合特征结构173和保持开口174的位置分别与板接合特征结构110和装载有弹簧的销112的位置对应。图3B示出了恰好在插入到通用占用面积171中之前的图1A、图1B和图2中描绘的平台100。为了将平台100连接到表面板172,每个板接合特征结构110可以与相应的设备接合特征结构173狭槽对准。在这个位置中,装载有弹簧的销112的端部113相对于表面板172上的保持开口174偏移。如箭头A所指示,然后降低平台100。接着,平台100可以如箭头B所指示横向地移动,以使得钩状板接合特征结构110接触表面板172。更具体地说,表面板172的厚度定位在板接合特征结构110的宽水平部分111与侧壁104之间。另外,使平台100移位还致使装载有弹簧的销112的端部113被安置在保持开口174内。钩状板接合特征结构110与设备接合特征结构173之间的关系防止平台100在上下方向上的移动,同时装载有弹簧的销112与保持开口174之间的关系防止平台100的横向移动。
图3D描绘了如上所述耦合到表面板172的平台100。光纤电缆组件(例如,图2中描绘的光纤电缆组件140)可以在平台100如图3D中所示固定到表面板172之后或在固定到表面板172之前连接到平台100。为了使平台100从光纤设备170脱离,可以提起装载有弹簧的销,然后在与箭头B相反的方向上使平台100移位,并且向上提起。
应理解,可以使用除了装载有弹簧的销之外的锁定机构。举例来说,锁定机构可以被配置为螺钉(例如,紧定螺钉)、直角回转螺母、磁性闩锁机构等。
因此,本发明的实施方案使具有各种配置和样式的光纤电缆组件能够使用通用占用面积可释放地固定到光纤设备。因此,光纤设备的表面板仅需要包括一种类型的占用面积,这可以节省制造成本。
如上所述,可以根据有待固定到光纤设备的光纤电缆组件的类型来设计平台。举例来说,光纤电缆组件,如具有分叉的干线电缆组件,可以连同用于将光纤电缆组件固定到光纤设备的适当平台一起封装。下文描述了容纳若干光纤电缆组件的若干平台。然而,实施方案不局限于本文示出和描述的平台和光纤电缆组件。
图4、图5A、图5B和图6描绘了根据一个实施方案的光纤电缆组件耦合系统。首先参考图6,平台200被配置成接受环绕光纤电缆组件240的分叉壳体250的分叉夹具260的特征结构。光纤电缆组件240还包括干线241和至少一个支线242。分叉夹具260和分叉壳体250与光纤电缆组件240的一种特定配置对应。图4描绘了具有配置成接受分叉夹具260的特征结构的耦合表面202的平台200,而图5A和图5B描绘了分叉夹具260的两个透视图。

现参考图10,示例性平台400具有被配置成接纳图11A到图11D中描绘的分叉夹具460的耦合表面402。更具体地说,耦合表面402具有第一电缆接合特征结构420a、420b和第二电缆接合特征结构422a、422b。第一电缆接合特征结构420a、420b被定位和配置成接纳分叉夹具460的第一接合耳片461,并且第二电缆接合特征结构422a、422b被配置成接纳分叉夹具260的第二接合耳片462。图10中描绘的平台400能够接纳两个光纤电缆组件440。
图11A描绘了分叉夹具460的下侧,而图11B描绘了分叉夹具460的上侧。一般来说,分叉夹具460包括第一接合耳片461和第二接合耳片462。简单参考图12,第一接合耳片261卡扣到第一电缆接合特征结构420a、420b中的一个中,同时第二接合耳片262卡扣到第二电缆接合特征结构422a、422b中的一个中,从而将分叉夹具460和光纤电缆组件440固定到平台200。
与前文所述的分叉夹具不同,当前的分叉夹具460不界定环绕光纤电缆组件440的分叉壳体450的夹具壳体。而是,分叉夹具460在上侧上包括连接到分叉壳体450的接合夹具466。如图11C中所示,接合夹具466滑入到分叉壳体450中。分叉夹具460的下侧包括与分叉壳体中的对应孔洞对准的两个孔洞467a和467b。可以如图11D中所示,通过将螺钉468a、468b插入到两个孔洞467a、467b中来将分叉夹具460固定到分叉壳体450。可以如上所述将平台400固定到光纤设备170。
本文描述的实施方案还可以用来不仅将光纤电缆组件的分叉固定在光纤设备中,而且用来固定光纤连接器组件的连接器。图13和图14描绘了包括用于将各种连接器耦合在一起的适配器的两个示例性平台。所述平台然后可以安装到如上所述的光纤设备中。图13中描绘的平台500包括竖直板520,所述竖直板520包括多个适配器525。具有第一连接器类型的光纤组件535可以连接到适配器525的第一侧,而具有第二连接器类型的光纤组件530可以连接到适配器525的第二侧。作为一个实例且非限制性地,适配器中的一个或多个可以被配置成将多光纤终端推动连接器耦合在一起。应理解,适配器525可以被配置成耦合任何类型的光纤连接器,包括相同类型的连接器。还应理解,可以提供任何数量或类型的适配器525。适配器525可以是单光纤或多光纤连接器适配器。图14描绘了具有竖直板620的平台600,所述竖直板620包括用于将第一光纤电缆组件630耦合到第二光缆组件635的单一适配器625。举例来说,第二光缆组件635可以提供多根连接器化光纤的截短体,所述截短体可以如上所述连接到光纤设备中的多个点。作为一个实例且非限制性地,适配器525、625可以被配置成耦合或连接器。
现参考图15A、图15B和图16,描绘了光纤设备的替代平台700和表面板772。替代的平台700可以用于例如光纤设备内的空间受限的应用中。平台700通常包括具有多个电缆接合特征结构720a到720d的耦合表面702。所示的实施方案的电缆接合特征结构720a到720d被配置为可以穿过其中围绕光纤电缆组件安置和缠绕带子(例如,绑扎带、Velcro等)的环。然而,耦合表面702可以被配置成具有任何类型的电缆接合特征结构,包括但不局限于上述那些电缆接合特征结构。
平台700还包括两个弯曲侧壁704。在其它实施方案中,侧壁704可以是直壁。从耦合表面702延伸出来的是可以穿过其中安置装载有弹簧的销712的凸缘707。装载有弹簧的销712可以操作为上述装载有弹簧的销112。在其它实施方案中,装载有弹簧的销712可以安置在耦合表面702中而非穿过凸缘。
平台700的下侧703可以包括一个或多个板接合特征结构710,所述一个或多个板接合特征结构710被配置成耦合到光纤设备内的表面板772的设备接合特征结构773。在所示的实施方案中,板接合特征结构710包括从平台700的下侧表面703延伸的窄区域715。窄区域715终止于比窄区域715宽的宽区域718。
参考图16,示出了表面板772的通用占用面积771。在一些实施方案中,通用占用面积771提供在相对于表面板772的其余表面凸起的基底上。在其它实施方案中,通用占用面积771直接提供在表面板772上。通用占用面积771包括一个或多个设备接合特征结构773,所述一个或多个设备接合特征结构773被配置成与平台700的一个或多个板接合特征结构710配合。在所示的实施方案中,存在两个板接合特征结构710和两个对应的设备接合特征结构773。设备接合特征结构773可以被配置为“锁眼形”槽,所述锁眼形槽具有用于接纳板接合特征结构710的宽区域718的宽圆形部分775,以及用于防止平台700被从表面板提离的窄矩形部分777。
通用占用面积771还包括保持开口774,所述保持开口774可以是用于接纳如上所述装载有弹簧的销712的通孔。在其它实施方案中,可以使用除了装载有弹簧的销之外的锁定机构。
为了将平台700耦合到光纤设备的表面板772,使板接合特征结构710的宽区域718与设备接合特征结构773的宽圆形部分775对准,并且将所述宽区域718定位在其中。然后可以横向地平移平台700,以使得板接合特征结构710的窄区域715被安置在设备接合特征结构773的窄矩形部分777中。在这个位置中,然后将装载有弹簧的销712安置在保持开口774中以防止平台700的横向移动。
图17A到图17D描绘了如图15A和图15B中所描绘的耦合到各种示例性光纤电缆组件的平台700。图17A描绘了经由围绕电缆接合特征结构720a和720d缠绕的两个绑扎带750来固定薄光纤电缆组件760的平台,所述薄光纤电缆组件760可以呈单一光纤电缆的形式。类似地,图17B中描绘的平台固定具有比图17A中描绘的光纤电缆组件大的直径的光纤电缆组件761。光纤电缆组件761通过围绕电缆接合特征结构720a到720d中的每一个缠绕的两个绑扎带来固定到平台700。图17C描绘了通过围绕电缆接合特征结构720a到720d中的每一个缠绕的绑扎带来维持的多个光纤电缆组件762。
平台700可以具有用于将光纤电缆组件或其它部件固定到其的额外特征结构。举例来说,图17A到图17D中所示的平台包括可安装额外硬件的多个通孔721。如图17D中所示,具有截短体的光纤电缆组件763通过围绕电缆接合特征结构720a缠绕的绑扎带来固定到平台700。光纤电缆组件763的支线764通过额外紧固件部件730个别地固定到平台700,所述额外紧固件部件730被拧入到通孔721中的一个中。应理解,可以提供任何额外紧固件部件,并且实施方案不局限于图17D中描绘的额外紧固件部件730。
现应理解,本文公开的实施方案是针对用于使用通用占用面积将光纤电缆组件连接到光纤设备的平台。可以在不使用工具的情况下将本文描述的平台安装到光纤设备并从所述光纤设备去除。去除平台的能力使得能够在不修改光纤设备的情况下,使用与其它类型的光纤电缆组件对应的其它类型的平台。
实施方案所属领域的技术人员将联想到本文阐述的实施方案的许多修改,所述修改具有前文描述和相关附图中所呈现教义的益处。因此,应理解的是,描述和权利要求书并不局限于所公开的特定实施方案,并且所述修改和其它实施方案意图被包括在所附权利要求书的范围内。实施方案意图涵盖实施方案的修改和变化,只要所述修改和变化在所附权利要求书和其等效物的范围内即可。尽管本文采用了特定术语,但是这些术语仅在一般意义和描述性意义上而不是出于限制的目的来使用。
Claims (25)
1.一种用于将至少一个光纤电缆组件连接到光纤设备的平台,所述平台包括:
耦合表面,所述耦合表面包括至少一个电缆接合特征结构,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成将所述至少一个光纤电缆组件耦合到所述耦合表面;和
多个板接合特征结构,所述多个板接合特征结构被配置成可去除地耦合到定位在所述光纤设备上的多个设备接合特征结构。
2.如权利要求1所述的平台,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构包括开口和所述开口内的突出部。
3.如权利要求2所述的平台,其中所述突出部包括窄部分和宽部分。
4.如权利要求1到3中任一权利要求所述的平台,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成与所述至少一个光纤电缆组件的至少一个分叉壳体配合。
5.如权利要求1所述的平台,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构包括第一开口和第二开口。
6.如权利要求5所述的平台,其中所述第一开口被配置成接纳耦合到至少一个光纤电缆组件的夹具的第一接合耳片,并且所述第二开口被配置成接纳所述夹具的第二接合耳片。
7.如权利要求1到6中任一权利要求所述的平台,其还包括从所述耦合表面延伸的竖直板。
8.如权利要求7所述的平台,其中所述竖直板被配置成维持一个或多个光纤电缆组件。
9.如权利要求1到8中任一权利要求所述的平台,其还包括第一侧壁和第二侧壁,其中所述多个板接合特征结构中的个别板接合特征结构位于所述第一侧壁和所述第二侧壁上,并且每个个别板接合特征结构被定位和配置成与所述光纤设备上的接合狭槽配合。
10.如权利要求9所述的平台,其中每个个别板接合特征结构具有钩形状。
11.如权利要求9所述的平台,其中每个个别板接合特征结构具有从所述第一侧壁或所述第二侧壁延伸的垂直部分,以及从所述垂直部分延伸的水平部分。
12.如权利要求1到11中任一权利要求所述的平台,其中每个个别板接合特征结构包括从所述平台的与所述耦合表面相对的下侧表面延伸的窄区域,以及从所述窄区域延伸的宽区域,其中每个个别板接合特征结构可操作以插入到所述光纤设备上的锁眼形槽中。
13.如权利要求1到12中任一权利要求所述的平台,其还包括可操作以将所述平台可释放地锁定到所述光纤设备的锁定机构。
14.如权利要求1到13中任一权利要求所述的平台,其还包括可操作以接合所述光纤设备上的保持开口的装载有弹簧的销。
15.如权利要求14中所述的平台,其还包括从所述耦合表面延伸的前壁、以及垂直地延伸离开所述前壁的凸缘,其中所述装载有弹簧的销安置在所述凸缘中。
16.如权利要求1到15中任一权利要求所述的平台,其还包括前壁、第一侧壁以及第二侧壁,其中所述前壁、后壁、所述第一侧壁和所述第二侧壁从所述耦合表面延伸。
17.一种光纤电缆组件耦合系统,所述光纤电缆组件耦合系统包括:
至少一个光纤电缆组件,所述至少一个光纤电缆组件包括光纤电缆;和
平台,所述平台包括:
耦合表面,所述耦合表面包括至少一个电缆接合特征结构,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成耦合到所述至少一个光纤电缆组件;和
多个板接合特征结构,所述多个板接合特征结构被配置成可去除地耦合到定位在光纤设备上的多个设备接合特征结构。
18.如权利要求17所述的光纤电缆组件耦合系统,其中
所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构包括开口和所述开口内的突出部;
所述突出部包括窄部分和宽部分;并且
所述光纤电缆组件耦合系统还包括带子,所述带子围绕所述至少一个光纤电缆组件和所述突出部的所述窄部分安置,以使得所述至少一个光纤电缆组件耦合到所述平台的所述耦合表面。
19.如权利要求17到18中任一权利要求所述的光纤电缆组件耦合系统,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成与所述至少一个光纤电缆组件的至少一个分叉壳体配合。
20.如权利要求17到19中任一权利要求所述的光纤电缆组件耦合系统,其中
所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构包括第一开口和第二开口;
所述至少一个光纤电缆组件包括分叉壳体;
所述至少一个光纤电缆组件还包括耦合到所述分叉壳体的夹具,其中所述夹具包括第一接合耳片和第二接合耳片;并且
所述第一开口被配置成接纳所述夹具的所述第一接合耳片,而所述第二开口被配置成接纳所述夹具的所述第二接合耳片。
21.如权利要求17所述的光纤电缆组件耦合系统,其中
所述平台还包括第一侧壁和第二侧壁;并且
所述多个板接合特征结构中的个别板接合特征结构位于所述第一侧壁和所述第二侧壁上,并且被配置成与所述光纤设备上的接合狭槽配合。
22.如权利要求17到21中任一权利要求所述的光纤电缆组件耦合系统,其中每个个别板接合特征结构包括从所述平台的与所述耦合表面相对的下侧表面延伸的窄区域,以及从所述窄区域延伸的宽区域,其中每个个别板接合特征结构可操作以插入到所述光纤设备上的锁眼形槽中。
23.如权利要求17到22中任一权利要求所述的光纤电缆组件耦合系统,其还包括可操作以将所述平台锁定到所述光纤设备的锁定机构。
24.一种用于将一个或多个光纤电缆组件连接到光纤设备的平台,所述平台包括:
耦合表面,所述耦合表面包括至少一个电缆接合特征结构,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成将至少一个光纤电缆组件耦合到所述耦合表面;
前壁,所述前壁从所述耦合表面的前缘延伸;
第一侧壁,所述第一侧壁从所述耦合表面的第一边缘延伸;
第二侧壁,所述第二侧壁从所述耦合表面的第二边缘延伸;
凸缘,所述凸缘从所述前壁正交地延伸;
多个钩状板接合特征结构,所述多个钩状板接合特征结构从所述第一侧壁和所述第二侧壁的底缘延伸,所述多个钩状板接合特征结构被配置成可去除地耦合到定位在所述光纤设备上的多个接合狭槽;和
装载有弹簧的销,所述装载有弹簧的销安置在所述凸缘内,所述装载有弹簧的销可操作以可去除地接合所述光纤设备上的保持开口。
25.一种用于将一个或多个光纤电缆组件连接到光纤设备的平台,所述平台包括:
耦合表面,所述耦合表面包括至少一个电缆接合特征结构,其中所述至少一个电缆接合特征结构被配置成将至少一个光纤电缆组件耦合到所述耦合表面;
底表面,所述底表面与所述耦合表面相对;
至少一个板接合特征结构,所述至少一个板接合特征结构包括从所述底表面延伸的窄区域,以及从所述窄区域延伸的宽区域,其中所述至少一个板接合特征结构可操作以插入到所述光纤设备上的锁眼形槽中;和
装载有弹簧的销,所述装载有弹簧的销从所述底表面延伸,所述装载有弹簧的销可操作以可去除地接合所述光纤设备上的保持开口。
