技术领域
本发明涉及在联接体和插头之间形成流体密封的装置。
背景技术
在许多联接装置中,插头被简单地插入到联接体内从而形成流体密封连接,而该插头有时指的是杆。一般,插头和联接体之间的流体密封连接通过环绕插头而布置的环形密封元件如O形环来提供。这种联接组件的例子表示在申请人已公开的美国专利No.4436125、4541457和5033777中。
这些插头和联接体常常通过塑料模制过程来大批生产。时常,在使用一次之后这些插头用作随意处理。因此,进行了各种尝试来尽可能地解决和减少它们的总体制造费用。常常,插头和联接件不在同一厂商中制造。
在便宜地大量生产连接起来时不会泄漏的塑料插头和联接体组合体时就存在许多困难。
本发明提供了在联接体和插头之间形成流体密封的装置,本发明解决许多或者所有的上述问题。
发明内容
本发明的一方面是一种联接组件,包括:
具有槽的插头,该槽形成于它的外表面上;及
具有密封元件的联接体,该密封元件绕着联接体的内壁环形设置,该密封元件在插头插入到联接体时接合插头的外壁,从而在插头和联接体之间形成流体密封,
其特征在于:密封元件通过套安装就位,而该套夹在密封元件和机械插销机构之间,该机械插销机构接合并保持联接体内的插头,其中该套紧邻机械插销机构而设置,在插头插入到联接体时该机械插销机构设置在所述槽内。

在本发明的一个实施例中,密封元件通过套安装就位,而该套设置在密封元件和压板保持件之间,该压板保持件接合并保持联接体内的插头。
在另一个实施例中,通过设置在套外周上的法兰把套保持在联接体内,而该法兰设置在槽内,该槽设置在联接体的内壁上,一对狭槽延伸通过联接体并进入到该槽内,这对狭槽有利于槽的形成和把套从联接体中拆下。
在仍然是另一个实施例中,密封件设置在槽内,而该槽模制在联接体的内壁上。
在一个实施例中,密封件是传统的O形环密封件。

具体实施方式
现在参照附图1,有一个根据本发明原理的联接组件20的优选实施例,该联接组件20包括联接体22和插头24。应当知道,根据特殊应用和工作环境,联接体22和插头24可以采用不同的总体结构。当联接体22和插头24连接起来时,联接组件20限定出流体通道从而允许流体流通过。应当知道,存在辅助阀件来使流体流通过或者关闭。
在所示出的实施例中,插头24包括:连接到流体输送装置的螺纹端30、六角中部32和管形端34,该管形端34成形用于插入到联接体的孔36内的形状。
联接体22包括用来安放插头24的管形端26和连接到流体输送装置上的螺纹端28。机械插销组件40接近端部26,而该插销组件40具有边缘42,边缘42接合插头24的外部槽38,因此一旦插头24完全插入到联接体22,就机械地把插头24和联接体22连接成联接状态。机械插销组件40具有板件44,板件44沿联接体孔36的横向延伸并具有用于插头24的管形端34插入通过的开口46。一般,拇指形部分48(thumb portion)连接到板件上,在插头24插入时,操作者使用拇指形部分48把机械插销向下压。机械插销组件40适当地向上偏压,以致释放时它可滑进来与插头24接合。同时借助于使用弹簧或者类似件以许多不同的方式来实现该偏压,在所示出的实施例中,偏压借助于弹性拇指形部分48来实现,该拇指形部分48接合从联接体22向上延伸的细长件49。在所示出的实施例中,联接体22表示为进一步包括关闭的提升阀组件50,在拆下插头24时,提升阀组件50一般关闭通过联接体22的流体流通道。
套60布置在紧紧邻近机械插销组件的板件44处。离开径向向内伸出的圆周肩部分62处隔着套60,从而限制出槽64,在该槽中布置了环形密封元件如O形环66。O形环66接合插头24的管形端34的外表面,从而在插头24插入到联接体22时提供流体密封。
联接体22通过插入提升阀组件50来装配。接下来,把O形环66安装就位,然后把套60压滑进位置。然后安装机械插销组件40。
在图3-6所示的替换实施例中,通过在套60′的外周上提供环形法兰70来把套60′固定在联接体22′内。法兰70安装在环形槽72内,而环形槽72设置在联接体22′的内壁上,从而轴向地把套保持在联接体内的适当位置上。一对完全相反的通槽74、76在顶部和底部上延伸通过联接体并进入槽72,最好看图4和5。狭槽74、76有利于槽的形成,并且有利于把套从联接体上拆下来。
在图7所示的替换实施例中,通过使用模制芯元件78在联接体22″的内壁上形成槽64′一样的的槽64,而该模制芯元件78具有凸起80从而在联接体22″的壁上形成槽64′。芯的凸起80的第一侧壁82横向延伸从而形成槽64′的垂直延伸或者径向延伸的侧壁62′,而芯凸起80的第二侧壁84倾斜延伸从而形成槽64′的斜侧壁63′。斜的第二侧壁84使得模制芯元件78可以从联接体22″的孔36中拆下来并且不会损坏联接体22的内壁上的槽64′。联接体22″由合适的弹性材料如乙酰制成,而该弹性材料在模制芯元件78从联接体22″的孔中拆下来时稍稍有弹性。
应当知道,在进行大批生产塑料联接体和插头时,本发明提供了质量很好的控制。由于联接体的质量原因,因此在模制过程中联接体比插头更加趋于不规则。把插头制造得更加精确的规格比把联接体制造得更加精确容易。相应地,通过把密封元件和联接体结合起来,很容易进行大量生产联接件,因为可以以较大的公差来制造联接体。只需要在密封元件处保持严格的、优质的控制。联接体的剩余部分不需要这种严格的优质的控制,并且仍然能与联接体的密封元件形成流体密封。相应地,第三厂商制造插头就更加容易了,而该插头能与另一个厂商的联接体可靠地密封。

Claims (10)

1.一种联接组件,包括:
具有槽的插头,该槽形成于它的外表面上;及
具有密封元件的联接体,该密封元件绕着联接体的内壁环形设置,该密封元件在插头插入到联接体时接合插头的外壁,从而在插头和联接体之间形成流体密封,
其特征在于:密封元件通过套安装就位,而该套夹在密封元件和机械插销机构之间,该机械插销机构接合并保持联接体内的插头,其中该套紧邻机械插销机构而设置,在插头插入到联接体时该机械插销机构设置在所述槽内。
2.如权利要求1所述的联接组件,其特征在于:密封元件设置在槽内,该槽模制在联接体的内壁上。
3.如权利要求1所述的联接组件,其特征在于:该套包括绕着它外周而环形延伸的法兰,所述法兰设置在位于联接体内壁上的环形延伸的槽内。
4.一种联接组件,包括:
插头;及
具有密封元件的联接体,该密封元件绕着联接体的内壁环形设置,该密封元件在插头插入到联接体时接合插头的外壁,从而在插头和联接体之间形成流体密封;
其特征在于:密封元件通过套安装就位,而该套夹在密封元件和机械插销机构之间,该机械插销机构接合并保持联接体内的插头,其中该套紧邻机械插销机构而设置;
该套还包括绕着它外周而环形延伸的法兰,所述法兰设置在位于联接体内壁上的环形延伸的槽内,及
该联接组件还包括一对狭槽,这对狭槽延伸通过联接体并进入到环形槽内。
5.如权利要求4所述的联接组件,其特征在于:所述狭槽延伸到刚好与该槽相反的环形槽内。
6.一种联接组件,包括:
具有槽的插头,该槽形成于该插头的外表面上;及
具有密封元件的联接体,该密封元件绕着联接体的内壁环形设置,该密封元件在插头插入到联接体时接合插头的外壁,从而在插头和联接体之间形成流体密封;
其特征在于:密封元件通过套安装就位,而该套设置在密封元件和机械插销机构之间,该机械插销机构接合并保持联接体内的插头,所述机械插销机构包括一部分,在插头插入到联接体时该部分在所述槽内可自由使用。
7.如权利要求6所述的联接组件,其特征在于:所述密封元件设置于模制在联接体内壁的槽内。
8.如权利要求6所述的联接组件,其特征在于:
该套还包括绕着它外周而环形延伸的法兰,所述法兰设置在位于联接体内壁上的环形延伸的槽内。
9.一种联接组件,包括:
具有槽的插头,该槽形成于该插头的外表面上;及
具有密封元件的联接体,该密封元件绕着联接体的内壁环形设置,该密封元件在插头插入到联接体时接合插头的外壁,从而在插头和联接体之间形成流体密封;
其特征在于:密封元件通过套安装就位,而该套设置在密封元件和机械插销机构之间,该机械插销机构接合并保持联接体内的插头,所述机械插销机构包括一部分,在插头插入到联接体时该部分在所述槽内可自由使用;
该套还包括绕着它外周而环形延伸的法兰,所述法兰设置在位于联接体内壁上的环形延伸的槽内,及
该联接组件还包括一对狭槽,这对狭槽延伸通过联接体并进入到环形槽内。
10.一种如权利要求9所述的联接组件,其特征在于:所述狭槽延伸到刚好与该槽相反的环形槽内。
