Abstract
无线通信的发射机提供多种类型正交性以改进发射分集。利用编码和载波频率正交性改进发射分集。把待发射的数据断开成四个并行的信道。两个信道是在第一载波信号上发射的,其他两个信道是在第二载波信号上发射的。给相同载波信号上发射的信道提供正交码,因此,这两个信道可以被接收机分开。不同载波信号上发射的信道可以采用相同的正交码编码。然后,至少利用两个天线发射调制后的载波信号,其中每种载波使用一个天线。
Description
本发明涉及无线通信,具体涉及提供发射分集的方法。
利用发射分集和接收分集以遏制信道衰落。在接收机的情况下,利用相隔距离足够远的两个天线提供分集,所以,在一个时间只有一个天线经受衰落信号。类似地,利用相隔距离足够远的两个或多个天线提供发射分集,所以,接收机不可能有来自所有天线同时衰落的信号。
图1表示现有技术提供发射分集的CDMA(码分多址)发射机。编码器10接收待发射的数据,并添加编码,例如,差错修正和检测编码。然后,数据被传输到重排序该数据的数字复用器12,所以,在接收机中重排序串行位时,该位的损耗可以在时间上被展开。数字复用器12的输出提供给多路分解器14,多路分解器14把该数据分成两个并行路径,提供给乘法器16和18。乘法器16和18采用诸如Walsh码Wn1和Wn1的正交码编码该数据。应当注意,传输通过多路分解器14以后,数据速率减小一半。还应当注意,一个CDMA信道通常采用单个Walsh码,例如,Walsh码Wn。由于数据速率减小一半,Walsh码Wn可以断开成两个较长的正交Walsh码Wn1和Wn2。公式1和公式2表示较长的Walsh码Wn1和Wn2与较短的Walsh码Wn之间的关系。

回到图1,乘法器20和22把伪随机码加到每条数据路径上,然后,数据被传输到RF部分24和26。两个RF部分完成这样的功能,例如,用编码后的数据调制载波频率为f1的载波信号,并在通过天线28和30传输之前提供足够的放大。应当注意,图1中的系统通过把数据分成两条路径提供发射分集,以相同的频率通过两个天线发射;然而,采用不同的Walsh码编码数据,这两条路径保持正交的关系。
图2表示提供发射分集的第二种CDMA发射机。如同图1中所示,在数据被传输到多路分解器之前,利用编码器10和数字复用器12处理该数据。多路分解器40把数据分成三条并行路径,提供给乘法器42,44和46。每个乘法器采用Walsh码Wn编码该数据。然后,乘法器42,44和46输出的数据分别传输到乘法器48,50和52,在这些乘法器中采用伪随机码再编码该数据。乘法器48输出的数据提供给RF部分54,RF部分54调制该数据到频率为f1的载波上。乘法器50输出的数据提供给RF部分56,RF部分56调制该数据到频率为f2的载波上。乘法器52输出的数据提供给RF部分58,RF部分58调制该数据到频率为f3的载波上。各个RF部分的输出提供给天线60,62和64。在此情况下,利用三个天线提供发射分集,其中利用不同的载波频率提供三个信道的正交性。
本发明提供一种无线通信的发射机,该发射机有多种类型正交性以改进发射分集。利用编码和载波频率正交性改进发射分集。把待发射的数据断开成四个并行的信道。两个信道是在第一载波信号上发射的,其他两个信道是在第二载波信号上发射的。给相同载波信号上发射的信道提供正交码,因此,这两个信道可以被接收机分开。不同载波信号上发射的信道可以采用相同的正交码编码。然后,至少利用两个天线发射调制后的载波信号,其中每种载波使用一个天线。应当注意,也可以在每个天线上发射两种载波。
图1表示现有技术有发射分集的CDMA发射机;
图2表示第二种现有技术有发射分集的CDMA发射机;和
图3表示有多种类型正交性的CDMA发射机。
图3表示有多种类型正交性的CDMA发射机。编码器80接收数据,并传输该数据到数字复用器82。编码器80和数字复用器82类似于现有技术的编码器10和数字复用器12。多路分解器84把数字复用器82输出的数据分成时间校准的六个并行信道路径。利用开关和时间校准信号路径的缓冲器,可以制成多路分解器84。也可以利用没有时间校正缓冲器制成多路分解器84;然而,在此情况下,信号路径并不是时间校正的。多路分解器84的输出86,88,90,92,94,和96分别提供给乘法器98,100,102,104,106,和108。采用诸如Walsh码的正交码,乘法器98至108编码该数据。乘法器98,102,和106采用Walsh码Wn1编码该数据,而乘法器100,104,和108采用Walsh码Wn2编码该数据。Walsh码Wn1与Wn2是互相正交的。这就导致采用相同Walsh码编码的乘法器输出110,112,和114与采用不同Walsh码编码的输出116,118,和120是正交的。输出110至120提供给乘法器130,132,134,136,138,和140,这些乘法器采用CDMA发射机使用的伪随机码给每条信号路径编码。在采用伪随机码编码以后,乘法器输出142,144,146,148,150,和152分别提供给RF部分154,156,158,160,162,和164。RF部分154和156分别采用乘法器输出142和144调制频率为f1的载波。RF部分158和160分别采用乘法器输出146和148调制频率为f2的载波。RF部分162和164分别采用乘法器输出150和152调制频率为f3的载波。RF部分154,158,和162的输出提供给加法器180,通过天线182传输。RF部分156,160,和164的输出提供给加法器184,通过天线186传输。
应当注意,可以利用各个RF部分的输出形成通过两个天线发射的单个总和,或每个RF部分输出可以通过不同的天线发射。还可以利用三个天线,其中利用每个天线发射不同载波频率的信号。
应当注意,图3的系统包括两种类型正交性,其中不同载波频率提供第一种类型正交性,当各个信号分享一种载波频率时,不同正交码提供第二种类型正交性。应当注意,可以采用不同于Walsh码的正交码。还应当注意,当各个信号分享一种载波频率时,应当采用不同的正交码;然而,当各个信号不是分享一种载波频率时,那些信道可以采用相同的或不同的正交码。
应当注意,若采用不同载波频率的各个信道并不重复使用正交码,则提供两级正交性。例如,载波频率为f1的两个信道采用Walsh码W1n和W2n,载波频率为f2的两个信道采用Walsh码W1m和W2m。可以添加其他类型和/或其他级正交性,例如,时间正交性(即,不同的时隙)。
图3表示把通信信道分成六个正交信道的系统以改进发射分集。应当注意,在保持多种类型正交性的同时,可以利用多于或少于六个信道。三个信道可以有多种类型正交性,例如,采用不同的正交码发射相同载波上的两个信道,而在不同频率的载波上发射第三个信道,其中前两个信道采用的正交码之一可以被第三个信道重复使用。
还可以把多种类型正交性应用于CDMA系统之外的无线通信系统以改进发射分集。例如,在TDMA(时分多址)类型系统中,可以采用不同的载波频率,不同的时隙,和/或不同的代码,提供多路分解通信信号时形成的各个并行信道之间的正交性。
Claims (12)
1.一种改进发射分集的方法,其特征在于包括以下步骤:
多路分解通信信号成至少三个并行通信信道;
应用第一通信信道群内各个信道之间的第一种类型正交性,该第一通信信道群包括该至少三个并行通信信道中的至少两个并行通信信道;和
应用第一通信信道群与第二通信信道群之间的第二种类型正交性,该第二通信信道群包括该至少三个并行通信信道中的至少一个剩余的并行通信信道。
2.按照权利要求1的方法,其特征还包括以下步骤:应用第二通信信道群内各个信道之间的第一种类型正交性。
3.按照权利要求1的方法,其特征是第一种类型正交性是频率正交性。
4.按照权利要求3的方法,其特征是第二种类型正交性是代码正交性。
5.按照权利要求1的方法,其特征是第一种类型正交性是频率正交性。
6.按照权利要求5的方法,其特征是第二种类型正交性是时间正交性。
7.按照权利要求1的方法,其特征是第一种类型正交性是代码正交性。
8.按照权利要求7的方法,其特征是第二种类型正交性是时间正交性。
9.一种改进发射分集的方法,其特征包括以下步骤:
多路分解通信信号成至少三个并行通信信道;
编码该至少三个并行通信信道中的每个信道;
通过第一载波频率的载波信号,发射该至少三个并行通信信道中至少两个信道;和
通过第二载波频率的载波信号,发射该至少三个并行通信信道中至少一个剩余的信道,其中采用不同的正交码给通过第一载波频率的载波信号发射的通信信道编码。
10.按照权利要求9的方法,其特征是正交码是Walsh码。
11.按照权利要求9的方法,其特征是通过第二载波频率的载波信号发射的通信信道采用的代码是编码通过第一载波频率的载波信号发射的至少一个通信信道所采用的代码。
12.按照权利要求9的方法,其特征是通过第二载波频率的载波信号发射的通信信道采用的代码不同于编码通过第一载波频率的载波信号发射的通信信道所采用的代码。
