发明背景

除了根据停止条件多种结合来限定多样化问题的边界之外,多样化处理(步骤520)的另一个目标是有效地搜索界定的区域(例如,误差区域)。图8是显示依据本发明的一个实施例的一个更多样化的资产组合的产生(例如,步骤624和724)的流程图。依据所示的实施例,通过在各种约束下例如采用等式#1和#2估计额外的替换最优资产组合来实现多样化。在步骤810,选择一个最大承受风险。最大承受风险(例如,上述的UB)为一特定多样化迭代限定了可以在任何特定金融产品中保持的资产组合的值的最大百分比。重要地,可以采用多个方法中的任何一种来为多样化处理的迭代选择最大承受风险值。在一个实施例中,假设成本和最大承受风险之间的关系是单调的。例如,可以假设,实现一个被约束到最大承受风险为80%的有效资产组合的成本大于实现一个被约束到最大承受风险为90%的有效资产组合的成本。以这种方式,迭代地降低以搜索更多样化的资产组合为目的的最高限度(由最大承受风险限定)的搜索方法可以在一个候选资产组合超过多样化预算时停止。同样,可以采用二进制搜索算法,利用单调关系来为当前迭代搜索最大承受风险。
在步骤820,在包括当前迭代的最大承受风险一个或多个多样化约束下执行优化处理。例如,依据一个实施例,,当运用最大承受风险约束时,将风险保持恒定。接着,在步骤830,将所得到的多样化资产组合的一个或多个特征(例如,预期回报、风险和实用性)与初始识别的最优资产组合的相应特征进行比较,以测量与当前多样化水平相联系的成本。
上面已经描述了多样化处理的各种方法,下面参考图9A-9C示意例示性迭代。图9A显示了一个初始识别的最优资产组合950。图9B显示了最大承受风险约束在图9A的资产组合上的作用;图9C显示了在已经达到一个或多个停止条件之后的多样化资产组合。
在资产组合950中,金融产品910代表资产组合的总值的大约90%,金融产品920代表剩余的10%。依据这个例子,在图9B所示的后续迭代中,将75%的最大承受风险约束941加在优化过程上,以达到一个更多样化的资产组合951。实现与资产组合950相对的资产组合951的成本被确定在所分配的多样化预算之内;因此,可以执行另一个迭代。图9C表示一个从更苛刻的最大承受风险约束942得到的更多样化的资产组合952。然而,实现资产组合952而不是资产组合950的在预期回报、风险和/或实用性方面的成本大于多样化预算。因此,在这个例子中,推荐资产组合将是资产组合951(在多样化预算内的最多样化的候选资产组合)。
图10在概念上显示了依据本发明的一个实施例的采用二进制搜索方法来快速找到一个多样化资产组合的方法。选择第一次迭代的最大承受风险1010。在这个例子中,第一次迭代的最大承受风险1010是55%(大约是100%与10%的底线1040之间的一半)。如果在第一次迭代中超过了多样化预算,则在下一次迭代中将最大承受风险值选择为在100%和55%之间,在这之间已知成本被降低。在图10的例子中,实现由第一次迭代识别出的候选资产组合的成本小于多样化预算;因此,将第二次迭代的最大承受风险值1020选择为大约是在当前承受风险与底线1040之间的一半。通过递归地分割已知满足预算约束的最大承受风险范围的剩余部分,以这种方式继续后续迭代,直到到达一个或多个停止条件为止。替换实施例
本发明的发明人可以预期许多替换实施例。在上面,采用预期回报作为多样化的成本的例示测量值。然而,重要地,应该理解的是,本发明可广泛地应用于使用其他成本测量,例如风险和/或实用性的资产组合多样化方法。例如,在一个资产组合上的预期回报可以保持恒定,并且可以执行一个有效搜索来找到在一特定风险预算内的更多样化的资产组合。换句话说,可以提高多样性,直到耗尽一给定实用性预算。实用性预算可以根据一个用户专用实用性函数来定义,该用户专用实用性函数将资产组合的任意特征映射到例如愿望的实用性测量值上。在其它实施例中,优化问题可以被构造为使在任意预算之下使多样化的任意测量值最大。
这里所述的本发明的特定方面同样可应用于各种其他优化问题,例如到优化过程的输入要经受估计或其他类型的误差的那些优化问题。

Claims (41)
1.一种在选择包括一个可用金融产品集合中的一个或多个金融产品的资产组合时使模型风险多样化的方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:
从一个可用金融产品集合中确定金融产品的一个初始资产组合;
为比初始资产组合更多样化的一个替换资产组合搜索一个误差空间的一维或多维;
通过比较初始资产组合的特征与替换资产组合的相应特征之间的差别来计算与替换资产组合相联系的成本;以及
如果成本小于或等于一预定多样化预算,选择替换资产组合。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,为比初始资产组合更多样化的一个替换资产组合搜索一个误差空间的一维或多维的步骤包括估计与初始资产组合具有大致相同级别的风险但具有较低预期回报的资产组合。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,为比初始资产组合更多样化的一个替换资产组合搜索一个误差空间的一维或多维的步骤包括估计与初始资产组合具有大致相同的预期回报但具有较高级别的风险的资产组合。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,为比初始资产组合更多样化的一个替换资产组合搜索一个误差空间的一维或多维的步骤包括估计具有较高多样性级别但具有未降至低于由实用性预算限定的预定实用性底线的实用性级别的资产组合。
5.一种用于选择包括一个可用金融产品集合中的一个或多个金融产品的资产组合的方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:
从一个可用金融产品集合中确定金融产品的一个初始资产组合;
考虑与比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合的一个集合相联系的成本;以及
从所述更多样化的资产组合的集合中选择一个具有低于或等于预定多样化预算的相关成本的资产组合。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其中,从所述更多样化的资产组合的集合中选择一个具有低于或等于预定多样化预算的相关成本的资产组合的步骤包括选择所述更多样化的资产组合的集合中的具有低于或等于预定多样化预算的相关成本的最多样化的资产组合。
7.如权利要求5所述的方法,其中,考虑与比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合的一个集合相联系的成本的步骤包括如下步骤:
(a)产生一个比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合;以及
(b)通过将初始资产组合的第一特征与更多样化的资产组合的相应第一特征进行比较,测量与更多样化的资产组合相联系的成本。

执行一个资产组合优化例程,同时将可用金融产品集合的单个金融产品中的财产约束到最大承受风险,允许初始资产组合的第一特征变化,并保持初始资产组合的一个或多个其他特征恒定。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中,通过执行下列步骤,迭代地确定后续更多样化的资产组合:
修改最大承受风险;以及
执行步骤(a)和(b),直到满足一个或多个停止条件。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中,停止条件包括下列的一个或多个:
成本超过一个预定多样化预算;
保持初始资产组合的一个或多个其他特性恒定不再可行;
最大承受风险小于一个预定最小承受风险阈值;
对预定最大数目的金融产品的承受风险已经达到;
已经执行了预定数目的迭代;以及
已经考虑了预定数目的替换资产组合。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中,预定多样化预算是一个用户指定的参数。
12.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中,修改最大承受风险的步骤包括在每次迭代时降低最大承受风险。
13.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中,修改最大承受风险的步骤包括如下步骤:
根据一个二进制搜索算法选择一个新的最大承受风险值;以及
将最大承受风险设置为新的最大承受风险值。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中,假设在成本和最大承受风险之间是单调关系,以及,其中,选择一个新的最大承受风险值的步骤是基于二进制搜索算法和单调关系进行的。
15.一种用于选择包括一个可用共有基金产品的集合中的一个或多个共有基金产品的资产组合的方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:
从一个可用共有基金产品集合中确定共有基金产品的一个初始资产组合;
考虑与比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合相联系的成本;以及
如果成本低于或等于预定多样化预算的资产组合,选择所述更多样化的资产组合中的一个成本。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中,如果成本低于或等于预定多样化预算的资产组合,选择所述更多样化的资产组合中的一个成本的步骤包括选择所述更多样化的资产组合中具有低于或等于预定多样化预算的相关成本的最多样化资产组合。
17.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中,考虑与比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合相联系的成本的步骤包括如下步骤:
(a)产生一个比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合;以及
(b)通过将与初始资产组合相联系的第一预期回报和与更多样化的资产组合相联系的第二预期回报进行比较,测量与更多样化的资产组合相联系的成本。

执行一个资产组合优化例程,同时将可用共有基金产品集合的单个共有基金产品中的财产约束到最大承受风险,允许预期回报变化,并保持与初始资产组合相联系的风险的测量值恒定。
19.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中,通过执行下列步骤,迭代地确定后续更多样化的资产组合:
修改最大承受风险;以及
执行步骤(a)和(b),直到满足一个或多个停止条件。
20.如权利要求19所述的方法,其中,停止条件包括下列的一个或多个:
成本超过一个预定多样化预算;
保持风险测量值恒定不再可行;
最大承受风险小于一个预定最小承受风险阈值;
对预定最大数目的共有基金产品的承受风险已经达到;
已经执行了预定最大数目的迭代;以及
已经考虑了预定最大数目的替换资产组合。

如果成本低于或等于一个预定多样化预算,选择一个或多个替换资产组合中的一个资产组合。
26.如权利要求25所述的方法,其中,成本是按照预期回报定义的,其中,测量与实现多样化相联系的成本的步骤包括确定在与初始资产组合相联系的预期回报和与一个或多个替换资产组合相联系的预期回报之间的差值。

确定具有第一预期回报和与第一级别的风险相联系的第一资产组合,第一资产组合包括使来自一个可用金融产品集合的金融产品的组合最大的实用性,其中,将最大财产限制到第一资产组合的X%;
确定具有第二预期回报和与第一级别的风险相联系的一个更多样化的资产组合,更多样化的资产组合包括使来自可用金融产品集合的金融产品的组合最大的实用性,其中,将最大金融产品财产限制到第二资产组合的Y%,其中Y<X;
如果第一预期回报与第二预期回报之间的差值小于一个多样化预算,则将更多样化的资产组合选择为推荐资产组合;否则,将第一资产组合选择为推荐资产组合。
35.一种用于选择包括一个可用金融产品集合中的一个或多个金融产品的资产组合的方法,所述方法包括如下步骤:
从一个可用金融产品集合中确定金融产品的一个初始资产组合;
考虑与比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合相联系的成本;以及
选择更多样化的资产组合中的具有小于或等于一个预定多样化预算的相关成本的最多样化的资产组合。
36.如权利要求35所述的方法,其中,成本是根据预期回报、风险和/或实用性测量的。
37.一种计算机系统,包括:
存储设备,在其中存储有一个资产组合优化例程,所述例程用于为包括来自一个可用金融产品集合的金融产品的组合的一个或多个资产组合模拟资产组合回报情况;
与存储设备相连的处理器,用于执行资产组合优化例程,以便在一个初始资产组合和一个更多样化的资产组合之间进行选择,并估计与实现更多样化的资产有关而不是初始资产组合有关的成本,其中:
以第一最大承受风险约束来确定初始资产组合;
通过施加第二最大承受风险约束来确定更多样化的资产组合,第二最大承受风险将可用金融产品集合中的任何单个金融产品中的财产限制到比第一最大承受风险约束更少的百分比,
成本反映在与初始资产组合相联系的第一预期回报和与更多样化的资产组合相联系的第二预期回报之间的差值;以及
如果成本低于或等于一个预定多样化预算,选择更多样化的资产组合来代替初始资产组合。
38.一种机器可读介质,在其上存储有表示指令序列的数据,所述指令序列在由处理器执行时使得处理器执行下列步骤:
从一个可用金融产品集合中确定金融产品的一个初始资产组合;
考虑与比初始资产组合更多样化的资产组合相联系的成本;以及
如果成本低于或等于一个预定多样化预算,选择更多样化的资产组合中的一个资产组合。
