背景技术
预付费电话业务是现有公共交换电话网(PSTN)中一个非常流行的业务。例如,预付费通话卡通常由PSTN用户用来发起呼叫。典型地,预付费通话卡的用户或者客户经由在预付费通话卡上提供的免费号码(800/888)通过呼叫一个信令代理来启动诸如通信站或服务器的一个电话呼叫。然后,用户被提示利用电话按键盘输入其家庭电话号码以及在预付费通话卡上提供的个人识别码(PIN)。

发明内容

具体实施方式
本发明提供方法,使得能够在公共交换电话网(PSTN)的两个用户,PSTN的一个用户和一个IP多媒体终端,或者两个IP多媒体终端之间经由互联网协议(IP)网络执行预付费电话业务。第一方法提供控制IP网络系统的至少一个媒体代理或者呼叫路由站/交换机,以允许和/或阻塞呼叫媒体流通过媒体代理。第二方法提供将一个信令代理或站发送的所有信令消息以及发送话音和数据通信的所有媒体分组引导通过IP网络系统中的至少一个公共设备。
现在详细讨论附图,其中相同的参考编号表示各图中相似或相同的元件,特别参考图3,其中示出的框图表示用于经由根据本发明的第一方法的IP网络302发起预付费呼叫的总体上由参考编号300表示的IP网络系统。IP网络系统300包括多个媒体代理,即用于处理通过系统300的分组的设备,包括信令站304。在IP网络系统300中,呼叫媒体流被从电话306路由到PSTN电话交换机308通过ISDN线到信令站304,通过IP线到IP电话交换机310,通过IP线到IP网络302。然后,呼叫媒体流通过IP线路由到目的IP电话交换机312,通过ISDN线到目的PSTN电话交换机314,最终到达目的电话316。呼叫媒体流还可以路由到诸如PC的IP终端317。
IP电话交换机310、312提供PSTN电话交换机308、314和IP网络302之间的基本接口,并且包括网关318和关守320。对于本领域的技术人员显而易见,信令代理服务器,特别是会话启动协议(SIP)代理服务器可以用于代替关守320。关守320使用网关318提供的信令信息来提供号码簿服务。在呼叫建立期间,始发关守320a通过确定与目的IP地址或电话号码相关的目的关守320b来在始发和终接关守318a、318b之间建立一个通信路径。目的关守320b选择一个目的网关318b来完成IP虚拟电路。
图4A-4C表示用于经由根据本发明第一优选方法的IP网络发起预付费呼叫的流程图。参考图4A,在步骤400,通过输入一个电话号码而建立呼叫。然后在步骤401,该电话号码由PSTN电话交换机308接收并路由到信令站304。在步骤402,信令站304确定所述电话号码是否与存储在数据库中的一个预付费接入电话号码相匹配。所述数据库最好是存储在信令站304或者连接到信令站304的远程站中。如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码不匹配,则在步骤404,所述电话号码被转发到IP电话交换机310,以如上关于使用始发和目的网关318a、318b和始发和目的关守320a、320b而发起呼叫所述,在步骤405经由IP网络302建立一个非预付费呼叫。
如果在步骤402所述电话号码与预付费进入电话号码相匹配,则在步骤406,预付费接入指令被从信令站304发送到用户,以通知用户通过拨打至少一个目的电话号码来发起一个预付费呼叫。要被拨打的额外信息包括用户的账号和帐户个人识别码(PIN)。如果帐户信息被确定为正确的,并且由信令站304在步骤407所确定的用户的帐户余额充足(即大于预定量),则目的电话号码被在步骤408经由PSTN电话交换机308和信令站304转发到IP电话交换机310。然后在步骤409建立预付费呼叫。如果帐户信息不正确或者用户的帐户余额不充足,则终止呼叫。
参考图4B,所述方法还包括在步骤410,在预付费通话期间连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额。优选地,在信令站304执行步骤410。如果帐户余额小于预定量,则在步骤412,通话中断信号被从信令站304发送到PSTN电话交换机308或IP电话交换机310。还预期通话中断信号被从信令站304发送到PSTN电话交换机314或者目的侧的IP电话交换机312,或者在PSTN用户和IP终端317之间的电话业务的情况下到IP终端317。
然后,在步骤414,由PSTN电话交换机308或IP电话交换机310接收通话中断信号,并且到目的电话号码的预付费通话被终止。预期在由信令站304发送通话中断信号之前的至少一个时间将指示根据帐户余额可用的通话时间量的一个消息从信令站304发送到用户。
此外,预期由IP电话交换机310通过相应对IP电话交换机310编程来执行以下步骤:确定电话号码是否与存储在信令站的数据库中的预付费进入电话号码相匹配,将通话卡接入指令从信令站304发送到用户,确定帐户信息是否正确以及用户的帐户余额是否充足,并且在信令站304连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额。
此外,参考图4C,本发明的方法还包括在步骤416,在信令站304确定预付费通话是否记在一个特定电话号码的帐上。如果该预付费通话被记在一个特定电话号码的帐上,则在步骤418,信令站304存储被承担的费用以及其它信息,如预付费通话的时长以及目的电话号码,用于以后给用户开帐单。
如果预付费通话没有记在一个特定电话号码的帐上,例如该预付费通话不是预付费通话卡通话,则在步骤420,信令站304收取用户的帐户余额并且在步骤422将被收取的帐户余额存储到数据库中。
预期由IP电话交换机310通过相应对IP电话交换机310编程来执行开帐单步骤416、418、420和422。因此,还预期IP电话交换机310将开帐单信息发送到连接到IP网络的多个其它IP电话交换机。因此,如果一个不同的IP电话交换机被用于在将来经由IP网络302启动一个预付费呼叫,则它含有用户的开帐单信息,包括用户的帐户余额。
参考图5,其中的框图表示用于经由根据本发明第二方法的IP网络发起一个预付费呼叫的总体上由参考编号500表示的IP网络系统。IP网络系统500包括多个媒体代理,其包括IP网络504内的一个中继站502。在IP网络系统500中,呼叫媒体流被从电话506路由到PSTN电话交换机508到IP电话交换机510并且到IP网络504。然后,呼叫媒体流通过IP线从IP网络504内的中继站502路由通过IP线到目的IP电话交换机512,然后通过ISDN线到目的PSTN电话交换机514,最终到达目的电话516。呼叫媒体流还能够被路由到IP终端517。
如上关于图3所示的IP网络系统300所述,IP电话交换机510、512提供PSTN电话交换机508、514和IP网络504之间的基本接口并且包括如上操作的网关518和关守520。
图6A-B表示用于经由根据第二优选方法的IP网络发起预付费呼叫的流程图。参看图6A,在步骤600,通过输入一个电话号码来建立一个呼叫。然后,在步骤601,该电话号码被PSTN电话交换机508接收并路由到IP电话交换机510。在步骤602,IP电话交换机510确定所述电话号码是否与存储在数据库中的预付费接入电话号码相匹配。该数据库最好是存储在IP电话交换机510或者连接到IP电话交换机510的一个远程站中。如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码不匹配,则在步骤604,如上参考图3所述,IP电话交换机510通过使用始发和目的网关518a、518b和始发和目的关守520a、520b发起一个呼叫而经由IP网络504建立一个非预付费呼叫。
在步骤602,如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码相匹配,则在步骤606,预付费接入指令被发送到用户,以通知用户通过拨打至少一个目的电话号码来发起一个预付费呼叫。被拨打的额外信息包括用户的账号以及帐户个人识别码(PIN)。如果帐户信息被确定为正确的并且如步骤607中所确定的用户的帐户余额充足(即大于预定量),则在步骤608,目的电话号码被经由PSTN电话交换机508转发到IP电话交换机510。然后,在步骤609,通过在IP电话机510、中继站502和目的IP电话交换机512或IP终端517之间建立一条虚拟媒体路径流来建立预付费呼叫。如果帐户信息不正确或者用户的帐户余额不充足,则终止呼叫。
在预付费通话期间,如步骤610所示,IP电话交换机510发送的信令和其它消息被引导通过中继站502。此外,如步骤611所示,对应于预付费呼叫的所有媒体分组还被引导通过中继站502。
通过在从IP电话交换机510和IP电话交换机512发送的每个消息的头以及媒体分组中提供中继站502的IP地址以及IP电话交换机512的IP地址而将信令消息和媒体分组引导通过中继站502。因此,即使在到达用于重新组装和重新定序的IP电话交换机512、IP电话交换机510或IP终端517之前,分组在分开的网络路径上传输,每个分组也通过虚拟媒体路径流电路的中继站502。
参考图6B,所述方法还包括在步骤612,在预付费通话期间连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额。优选地,在IP电话交换机510或连接到IP电话交换机510的一个远程站执行步骤612。如果帐户余额小于预定量,则在步骤614以分组形式的一个通话中断信号被从IP电话交换机510发送到中继站502。预期通话中断分组也可以从IP电话交换机512或IP终端517发送。通话中断分组在一个头中包括中继站502的IP地址。然后,在步骤616,通话中断信号被中继站502接收并且然后终止到目的电话号码的预付费通话。通过中继站阻塞信令和媒体分组从中通过并且到达IP电话交换机512或IP终端517来终止预付费通话。
预期在发送通话中断信号到中继站502之前的至少一个时间将指示对应于帐户余额的可用通话时间量的消息发送到用户。此外,预期由连接到IP电话交换机510的信令站通过相应对该信令站编程来执行连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额的步骤。
此外,本发明的方法还包括确定预付费通话是否被记在一个特定电话号码的帐上。如果预付费通话被记在一个特定电话号码的帐上,则存储被承担的费用和其它信息,如预付费通话时长和目的电话号码,用于后来为用户开帐单。这些步骤最好由IP电话交换机510或者连接到IP电话交换机510的一个远程站来执行,并且与图4C的步骤416和418相同。
如果预付费通话没有记在一个特定电话号码的帐上,例如预付费通话是一个预付费通话卡通话,则收取用户的帐户余额并且将收取的帐户余额存储到数据库中,这些步骤最好是由IP电话交换机510或连接到IP电话交换机510的一个远程站来执行,并且与图4C的步骤420和422相同。
这里所描述的只是用于说明本发明的原理的应用的。例如,上述作为操作本发明的最佳模式所描述的功能只是用于说明的目的。在不偏离本发明精神和范围的条件下,本领域的技术人员可以实现其它设备和方法。
Claims (22)
1.一种经由IP网络系统执行预付费电话业务的方法,所述IP网络系统包括至少一个经由IP网络连接到目的IP电话交换机的IP电话交换机、一个始发PSTN电话交换机和一个目的PSTN电话交换机,所述方法包括步骤:
在始发PSTN电话交换机和始发IP电话交换机之间提供一个信令站;
将用户输入并由始发PSTN电话交换机接收的电话号码转发到信令站;
确定所述电话号码是否与存储在数据库中的一个预付费接入电话号码相匹配;
如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码相匹配,则将预付费接入指令从信令站发送到用户,以通知用户继续通过拨打至少一个目的电话号码和帐户信息而继续发起一个预付费呼叫;
确定帐户信息是否正确以及一个相应的帐户余额是否大于一个预定量;
如果帐户信息正确并且相应的帐户余额大于预定量,则将目的电话号码经由始发PSTN电话交换机和信令站转发到始发IP电话交换机;并且
建立到目的电话号码的预付费呼叫。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,还包括步骤:
在预付费通话期间,连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额;
如果帐户余额小于预定量,则将一个通话中断信号发送到始发PSTN电话交换机和始发IP电话交换机之一;
在始发PSTN电话交换机和始发IP电话交换机之一接收通话中断信号;以及
在始发PSTN电话交换机和始发IP电话交换机之一终止到目的电话号码的预付费通话。
3.根据权利要求2的方法,还包括步骤:在发送通话中断信号之前的至少一个时间将指示对应于帐户余额的可用通话时间量的消息发送到用户。
4.根据权利要求2的方法,还包括步骤:
收取帐户余额;以及
将收取的帐户余额存入数据库中。
5.根据权利要求1的方法,还包括步骤:
确定预付费通话是否记在对应于用户的一个电话号码的帐上;
如果预付费通话被记在对应于用户的电话号码的账上,则存储包括预付费通话时长和目的电话号码的涉及预付费通话的信息;以及
根据所存储的信息来周期地为用户开帐单。
6.根据权利要求1的方法,还包括步骤:如果电话号码与预付费接入电话号码不匹配,则将该电话号码转发到始发IP电话交换机,以经由IP网络建立一个非预付费呼叫。
7.一种经由IP网络系统执行预付费电话业务的方法,所述IP网络系统包括至少一个经由IP网络连接到目的IP电话交换机的IP电话交换机、一个始发PSTN电话交换机和一个目的PSTN电话交换机,所述方法包括步骤:
在IP始发电话交换机接收由用户拨打的电话号码;
确定所述电话号码是否与存储在始发IP电话交换机中的预付费接入电话号码相匹配;
如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码相匹配,则发送预付费接入指令给用户,以通知用户通过拨打至少一个目的电话号码和帐户信息来继续发起一个预付费呼叫;
确定帐户信息是否正确以及相应的一个帐户余额是否大于一个预定量;
如果帐户信息正确并且相应的帐户余额大于预定量,则在始发IP电话交换机接收目的电话号码;以及
经由IP网络建立到目的电话号码的预付费呼叫。
8.根据权利要求7的方法,还包括步骤:
在预付费通话期间,在始发IP电话交换机中连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额;以及
如果帐户余额小于预定量,则终止到目的电话号码的预付费通话。
9.根据权利要求8的方法,还包括步骤:在终止预付费通话之前的至少一个时间将指示对应于帐户余额的可用通话时间量的消息发送给用户。
10.根据权利要求8的方法,还包括步骤:
收取帐户余额;
将收取的帐户余额存储到始发IP电话交换机中;以及
将收取的帐户余额从始发IP电话交换机发送到连接到IP网络的多个IP电话交换机。
11.根据权利要求7的方法,还包括步骤:
确定预付费通话是否记在对应于用户的电话号码的账上;
如果预付费通话被记在对应于用户的电话号码的账上,则存储包括预付费通话时长和目的电话号码的涉及预付费通话的信息;以及
根据所存储的信息来周期地为用户开帐单。
12.根据权利要求7的方法,还包括如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码不匹配,则经由IP网络、目的IP电话交换机和目的PSTN电话交换机建立一个非预付费通话的步骤。
13.一种经由IP网络系统执行预付费电话业务的方法,所述IP网络系统包括至少一个经由IP网络连接到目的IP电话交换机的IP电话交换机、一个始发PSTN电话交换机和一个目的PSTN电话交换机,所述方法包括步骤:
识别IP网络内的一个中继站;
将用户输入并由始发PSTN电话交换机接收的电话号码转发到始发IP电话交换机;
确定所述电话号码是否与存储在数据库中的一个预付费接入电话号码相匹配;
如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码相匹配,则将预付费接入指令发送到用户,以通知用户通过拨打至少一个目的电话号码和帐户信息而继续发起一个预付费呼叫;
确定帐户信息是否正确以及一个相应的帐户余额是否大于一个预定量;
如果帐户信息正确并且相应的帐户余额大于预定量,则将目的电话号码经由始发PSTN电话交换机转发到始发IP电话交换机;并且
建立到目的电话号码的预付费呼叫。
14.根据权利要求13的方法,其中将与预付费通话相关的分组路由通过中继站的步骤包括步骤:在从始发IP电话交换机和目的IP电话交换机发送的每个分组的头中提供一个对应于中继站的IP地址的IP地址,其中每个分组通过虚拟媒体路径流电路的中继站。
15.根据权利要求13的方法,还包括步骤:
在预付费通话期间,连续监视对应于用户的帐户余额;
如果帐户余额小于预定量,则将一个通话中断信号发送到中继站;
在中继站接收通话中断信号;以及
在中继站终止到目的电话号码的预付费通话。
16.根据权利要求15的方法,还包括步骤:在发送通话中断信号之前的至少一个时间将指示对应于帐户余额的可用通话时间量的消息发送到用户。
17.根据权利要求15的方法,还包括步骤:
收取帐户余额;以及
将收取的帐户余额存入数据库中。
18.根据权利要求17的方法,其中数据库被存储在连接到始发IP电话交换机的一个远程站中。
19.根据权利要求17的方法,其中数据库被存储在始发IP电话交换机中。
20.根据权利要求13的方法,还包括步骤:
确定预付费通话是否记在对应于用户的一个电话号码的帐上;
如果预付费通话被记在对应于用户的电话号码的账上,则存储包括预付费通话时长和目的电话号码的涉及预付费通话的信息;以及
根据所存储的信息来周期地为用户开帐单。
21.根据权利要求13的方法,其中建立预付费呼叫的步骤还包括步骤:
在始发IP电话交换机和中继站以及目的IP电话交换机和IP终端之一之间建立一个虚拟媒体路径流电路;以及
将与预付费呼叫相关的分组路由通过中继站。
22.根据权利要求13的方法,还包括步骤:如果所述电话号码与预付费接入电话号码不匹配,则经由IP网络建立一个非预付费呼叫。
