Abstract

Description

具有可展开的真皮组织穿刺构件的包装的医疗装置
技术领域
本发明整体而言涉及医疗装置及相关包装件,尤其涉及具有可展开真皮组织穿刺构件的包装的医疗装置。
背景技术
有许多医疗装置需要包装,例如借以保护医疗装置在使用前不致受损及维持医疗装置的无菌性。就结合一真皮组织穿刺构件(譬如一刺血针或微型针)与一测试条的医疗装置来说,相关包装应当提供让真皮组织穿刺构件在使用中展开的能力,同时也提供防止使用者在使用前和使用后意外触及真皮组织穿刺构件的防护能力。此外,其包装应为测试条提供储存期间阻湿能力。
单次使用型医疗装置要求便宜的、一次性的、且有一细长外型的医疗装置包装。虽然可想见可将刚性注塑成型医疗装置包装设计成为其所封装医疗装置提供防护,其可能会因其成本及其可能相当繁复的手动展开(即开启)程序而不符合理想要求。
因此,在此技术领域中仍需要提供一种具备可展开的真皮组织穿刺构件的包装的医疗装置,其不要求繁复的手动开启程序并且仍为封装于其内的医疗装置提供无菌防护。此外,该包装的医疗装置应当在储存期间为针提组织穿刺构件提供防止受损、湿气或污染物的防护能力,以及防止一使用者在使用前和使用后意外触及真皮组织穿刺构件的防护能力。再者,最好该包装的医疗装置具有细长外型且便宜。
发明内容
依据本发明的实施例的具有真皮组织穿刺构件的包装的医疗装置不需要繁复的手动开启程序即可使真皮组织穿刺构件展开,同时在储存期间仍向封装于其内的医疗装置提供无菌性保护并且提供防止受损、湿气及/或污染物的防护能力。此外,该包装的医疗装置防止使用者在使用前和使用后意外触及该真皮组织穿刺构件。再者,该包装的医疗装置可以利用便宜的层压技术制造,由此获得到一具备细长外型的包装的医疗装置。另外,依据本发明示意性实施例的用来展开包装的医疗装置的真皮组织穿刺构件的方法及成套装置可简单地应用。
依据本发明一示意性实施例的包装的医疗装置包含上部和下部可挠片、一刺针体及一测试条。该刺针体包含刺针体上表面和下表面,从该刺针体上表面延伸至该刺针体下表面的开口,以及一突入该刺针体开口内的真皮组织穿刺构件。

在图1实施例中,上部可挠片110通过粘着剂层150附接于刺针体上表面121的一部分上,使得上部可挠片110盖住刺针体开口123。但应理解到包装的医疗装置100的上部可挠片110并非附接于真皮组织穿刺构件124上。

测试条130包含电极接触件131、一反应区132、一绝缘基板133、一测试条开口134、一粘着剂涂层135及三边的测试条外周136。如图1所示,测试条130是一利用已知丝网印刷技术制成的电化学葡萄糖测量测试条。但本领域的普通技术人员会理解到用于依据本发明的包装的医疗装置内的测试条得具有但不局限于任何适当电化学和测光构造,且在此仅作范例说明,图1的测试条130是当作一电化学葡萄糖测量测试条进行说明。此外,本领域的普通技术人员会理解到用于依据本发明的包装的医疗装置内的测试条并不局限于用来测量葡萄糖,其亦可为用来测量譬如样本的酮类、糖基化蛋白质(譬如糖基化清蛋白)、凝血参数及/或胆固醇。

由于包装的医疗装置100可以完全由层压结构物形成,其价格便宜且具备细长外型。此外,由上部和下部可挠片110和140形成的封装效果用来提供防损伤、污染及湿气的防护作用,同时刺针体120的三边刺针体外周129及测试条130的三边测试条外周136对展开前的真皮组织穿刺构件提供损伤防护。再者,测试条与刺针体开口的操作性对准以及下部可挠片的可拆下本质使真皮组织穿刺构件能从刺针体开口内容易地以手动及/或机械方式展开。
图2是一包含图1包装的医疗装置100及一展开装置210的成套装置200的透视图。展开装置210被设计为用来(i)使下部可挠片140拆离测试条130,借此揭开测试条开口134;且(2)弯曲上部可挠片110、刺针体120及测试条130以使真皮组织穿刺构件124从刺针体开口123展开。必要时展开装置210亦可包含至少一个电连接器(图中未示出)用以在一外界装置(譬如一计量器,图中亦未示出)与包装的医疗装置100的电极接触件之间建立一电连接。本领域的普通技术人员所知的任何适当电连接器皆可使用。
在图2实施例中,展开装置210包含一剥离块220,该剥离块使下部可挠片140从包装的医疗装置100的测试条130上拆离。必要时剥离块220可包含前述电连接器。
展开装置210亦包含一折叠块230,该折叠块弯折上部可挠片110、刺针体120及测试条130,以导致真皮组织穿刺构件124从刺针体开口123展开。此弯折作用是借由将三边的刺针体外周129、三边的测试条外周136及上部可挠片110实质地从真皮组织穿刺构件移开的方式使真皮组织穿刺构件从刺针体开口展开。
该折叠作用举例来说能将三边的刺针体外周和测试条外周及上部可挠片的弯折部分弯折成相对于测试条和刺针体的其他部分成一大致垂直取向,使得真皮组织穿刺构件124外露且便于用来刺入使用者的真皮组织。垂直取向具有将三边的刺针体外周、三边的测试条外周及上部可挠片放置在不会干扰到已展开真皮组织穿刺构件刺入使用者皮肤的使用的位置的好处。
剥离块220包含一引入室222、一剥离边缘224及一剥离块开口226。剥离决开口226被设计为,让包装的医疗装置100除了耳片142以外都能轻易通过。此构件使得耳片142受阻无法通过剥离块220的剥离边缘224。因此,剥离块220用来使下部可挠片140至少部分地拆离(例如“剥离”)测试条130,由此在包装的医疗装置100被移动通过剥离决开口226时揭开测试条开口134。
展开装置210的折叠块230定位为在剥离块220远端。折叠块230包含一第一折叠块开口232、一轴销234、唇状部236、及一第二折叠块开口238。第一折叠块开口232具有一足以在包装的医疗装置100从剥离块220露出时接受包装的医疗装置100的尺寸,(举例来说,第一折叠块开口232具有大约6mm的宽度及大约0.8mm的高度)。必要时折叠块230可具备一止动构件(图中未示),通过物理性地防止包装的医疗装置过度插入的方式来限定包装的医疗装置完全插入折叠块230内的程度。
轴销234被设计为使得折叠块230能枢转例如约90度至100度范围内的弧。90度的弧会形成前述垂直取向。尽管可使用大于100度的弧,但随着弧角加大,刺针体与测试条间的有害剪切作用和分离作用的危险性也会加大。
当医疗装置包装100被插入折叠块230内,折叠块230被机械性地转动使真皮组织穿刺构件124从刺针体开口123展开。就此而言,折叠块230具有限定第二折叠块开口238的二个唇状部236,(举例来说,第二折叠块开口具有5.5mm的宽度及0.7mm的高度)。第二折叠块开口238被构造成为具有大于真皮组织穿刺构件124的宽度的宽度,且最好与刺针体开口123同宽,由此当折叠决230弯曲测试条130、刺针体120及上部可挠片110时,使得真皮组织穿刺构件124能够通过第二折叠块开口238。
本发明的剥离块和折叠块可由任何适当材料形成,且可以由利用本领域的普通技术人员所知的任何适当技术来制造。举例来说,该剥离块和折叠块可由聚碳酸酯、乙缩醛、不锈钢或铝形成,且可利用注塑成型法、模铸法或机械加工技术制成。
图3是沿图2的线3A-3A截取的展开装置210的折叠块230剖面图。图3示出折叠决230包含一被定位为远离且同心于轴销234的圆边折叠边缘239。圆边折叠边缘239被构形成便于促进如前文参照图1所述的测试条130和刺针体120的弯折。特定言之,圆边折叠边缘239的圆边特征提供了一受控的弯折作用,因为弯折的自然形状就是圆边的,且其圆边本质也提供对折叠后的包装的医疗装置的增强控制效果。此外,圆边折叠边缘使包装的医疗装置易于进入折叠块内。
图4及图5A至5D示出依据本发明一范例实施例用来展开包装的医疗装置100的真皮组织穿刺构件124的方法400的步骤序列。
方法400包含首先提供一如前文参照图1所示的包装的医疗装置100,如图4的步骤410所述。另一选择,可提供一包装的医疗装置及一展开装置(譬如图2的成套装置),如图5A所示。
其次,使该包装的医疗装置的下部可挠片至少部分地拆离该包装的医疗装置的测试条以揭开测试条开口,如图4的步骤420所述。此拆除步骤可由一使用者手动完成,或是使用如前文参照图2所示的展开装置。就此而言,图5B和5C示出了使用展开装置200来拆除下部可挠片,在图5B和5C中,箭头表示出包装的医疗装置100插入展开装置200内的方向。
随后,在图4的步骤430,该包装的医疗装置的上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条被弯折(例如手动弯曲或利用前述展开装置),以使真皮组织穿刺构件从刺针体开口展开。此弯折在图5D中显示为使用图2展开装置的情况。在图5D中,由箭头指出弯曲方向。
必要时可在展开并使用之后将该包装的医疗装置的上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条大致弯回其原始位置使得真皮组织穿刺构件再次突入刺针体开口内。这由手动方式完成,或者在使用展开装置进行弯曲的情况中借助该展开装置的轴销使该包装的医疗装置的上部可挠片、刺针体及测试体大致回复其原始位置。换句话说,可利用轴销使折叠块反向枢转通过其原本弯折上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条的弧。
一旦上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条已被大致弯回其原始位置,必要时可将下部可挠片再附装至测试条,以再次盖住测试条开口。此种再附装作业举例来说在使用一可再密封粘着剂将下部可挠片可拆地附装于测试条的情况中会得到促进。一旦真皮组织穿刺构件再次突伸到刺针体开口内且下部可挠片被再附装,使用者即可受到保护,防止不经意地触及到真皮组织穿刺构件。
本领域的普通技术人员会理解到,依据本发明的方法可以在一被设计用来进行现场测试的组合式样本收集计量系统内进行。被设计用来进行现场测试的系统的实例揭示于国际专利申请案PCT/US01/07169号(在2001年9月7日公告为WO01/64105A1号)及国际专利申请案PCT/GB02/03772号(在2003年2月27日公告为WO 03/015627A1号)中,这些申请的内容以引用的方式并入本文中。此外,可以将展开一真皮组织穿刺构件所需要的机械运动与刺血针竖立及/或测试条装载操作合并。另一选择,可由机动组件独立进行剥离和折叠动作。

Claims (16)

1.一种包装的医疗装置,其包括:
一上部可挠片;
一刺针体,其包含:
一刺针体上表面;
一刺针体下表面;
一从该刺针体上表面延伸至该刺针体下表面的刺针体开口;以及
一突伸入该刺针体开口内的真皮组织穿刺构件;
一测试条,该测试条带有穿过该测试条的测试条开口;以及
一下部可挠片;
其中:
该上部可挠片附接于该刺针体上表面,以便盖住该刺针体开口;
该测试条附接于该刺针体下表面,使得该真皮组织穿刺构件与该测试条开口在操作上对准;
该下部可挠片可拆地附接于该测试条上,以便盖住该测试条开口;以及
该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条如此构形成,当该下部可挠片已至少部分地拆离该测试条由此揭开该测试条开口时,该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条可被弯折,以使该真皮组织穿刺构件从该刺针体开口展开。
2.如权利要求1的包装的医疗装置,其中该测试条是一电化学测试条。
3.如权利要求1的包装的医疗装置,其中该测试条是一比色测试条。
4.如权利要求1的包装的医疗装置,其中该测试条是一葡萄糖测量测试条。
5.如权利要求1的包装的医疗装置,其中该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条能被弯折通过90度至100度范围内的弧,以展开该真皮组织穿刺构件。
6.如权利要求1的包装的医疗装置,其中该包装的医疗装置是利用层压技术制成的。
7.如权利要求1的包装的医疗装置,其中该测试条包含至少一个电极接触件,并且该上部可挠片附接于该刺针体上表面并且该测试条附着于该刺针体下表面,以使得该至少一个电极接触件延伸至该刺针体及该上部可挠片之外。
8.一种成套装置,其包括:
一包装的医疗装置,其包含:
一上部可挠片;
一刺针体,其包含:
一刺针体上表面;
一刺针体下表面;
一从该刺针体上表面延伸至该刺针体下表面的刺针体开口;及
一突伸入该刺针体开口内的真皮组织穿刺构件;
一测试条,该测试条带有穿过该测试条的测试条开口;及
一下部可挠片;
其中:
该上部可挠片附接于该刺针体上表面,以便盖住该刺针体开口;
该测试条附接于该刺针体下表面,使得该真皮组织穿刺构件与该测试条开口在操作上对准;
该下部可挠片可拆地附接于该测试条上,以便盖住该测试条开口;和
该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条如此构形成,当该下部可挠片已至少部分地拆离该测试条由此揭开该测试条开口时,该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条可被弯折,以使该真皮组织穿刺构件从该刺针体开口展开;以及
一展开装置,其包含:
一用来将该下部可挠片至少部分地拆离该测试条的拆除块;及
一用来弯折该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条以展开该真皮组织穿刺构件的弯折块。
9.如权利要求8所述的成套装置,其中该测试条是一电化学测试条。
10.如权利要求8所述的成套装置,其中该测试条是一比色测试条。
11.如权利要求8所述的成套装置,其中该测试条是一葡萄糖测量测试条。
12.如权利要求8所述的成套装置,其中该包装的医疗装置是一层压的包装的医疗装置。
13.一种用来展开包装的医疗装置的真皮组织穿刺构件的方法,该方法包括:
提供一包装的医疗装置,其中
该包装的医疗装置包含:
一上部可挠片;
一刺针体,其包含:
一刺针体上表面;
一刺针体下表面;
一从该刺针体上表面延伸至该刺针体下表面的刺针体开口;及
一突伸入该刺针体开口内的真皮组织穿刺构件;
一测试条,该测试条带有穿过该测试条的测试条开口;及
一下部可挠片,
其中:
该上部可挠片附接于该刺针体上表面,以便盖住该刺针体开口;
该测试条附接于该刺针体下表面,使得该真皮组织穿刺构件与该测试条开口在操作上对准;
该下部可挠片可拆地附接于该测试条上,以便盖住该测试条开口;和
该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条如此构形成,当该下部可挠片已至少部分地拆除该测试条由此揭开该测试条开口时,该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条可被弯折,以使该真皮组织穿刺构件从该刺针体开口展开;
使该下部可挠片至少部分地拆离该测试条以揭开该测试条开口的拆离步骤;以及
弯折该上部可挠片、刺针体及测试条以便从该刺针体开口展开该真皮组织穿刺构件的展开步骤。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中该拆离步骤及展开步骤是利用一展开装置实现的。
15.如权利要求14所述的方法,其中该拆离步骤及展开步骤是利用一包含剥离块和折叠块的展开装置实现的。
16.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中该拆离步骤及展开步骤是由使用者手动实现的。
