Abstract

本发明涉及数据的组织以及数据检查,并且更具体来讲,涉及用于显示、探查以及验证病人信息的图形用户界面。
发明背景
医师所面对的信息环境已经历了显著的变化。存在比以前更多格式的更加可利用的信息,占用了医师有限的时间。虽然信息时代正慢慢地改变着这种状况,但是仍然未提出可以减轻医师所面对的信息负担过重的工具。
目前,许多卫生保健组织已经开始向自动进行病人保健管理的大多数方面进军。然而,利用这种信息管理系统的卫生保健组织已经趋向于按无数的非结构化和结构化的数据源来维护信息。但是依然必需访问很多不同的数据源,每个数据源均具有其自身的特定格式。
鉴于上述问题,提供用于显示、探查以及验证病人信息的新图形工具是合乎需要的并且十分有益的。
发明概要
本发明提供了一种用于显示、探查以及验证病人信息的图形用户界面。
在本发明不同的实施例中,提供了一种用于测览挖掘的病人信息的方法。所述方法包括选择病人信息以便浏览,至少一些病人信息是概率随机选择的,在屏幕上显示所选择的病人信息,所选择的病人信息包括到相关信息的链接。所选择的病人信息可以包括从用于病人的各种数据源中提取的原始信息(以下简称为‘元素’),或者是从其中得出的结论。此信息可以从各种数据源导出。
所选择的病人信息可以包括与非结构化的信息相链接的元素。例如,可以显示与高亮显示信息的记录相链接的元素。所述高亮显示的信息可以指用于导出元素的信息。另外,非结构化的信息可以包括医疗图像和波形信息。
所选择的病人信息还可能源自于结构化的数据源,诸如数据库表。
所选择的病人信息可以包括具有到元素的链接的文档,其中所述元素与该文档相关联。
所选择的病人信息可以包括病人汇总信息。
向特定用户所呈现的病人信息可能要取决于该用户的身份或角色。举例来说,医师可能仅仅对疾病的高级视图(view)感兴趣(至少最初是),并且根据整个病人记录给出最相关的结论。
另一个选择是显示所有的病人信息(每个元素以及导出的结论),但是按照疾病的相关性降低的顺序来对此列表进行排序。

优选实施例的描述
图1举例说明了示范性的数据挖掘框架,如由Rao等人一并提交的未审的序号为10/__,__、标题为“Patient Data Mining”的美国专利申请(代理人编号为2001P20906US01)中公开的框架,将该篇申请的内容引用于此,以供参考。
如图1所示,用于挖掘高质量结构化的临床信息的示范性数据挖掘框架包括数据挖掘器150,用于利用包含在知识库(130)中的特定领域知识、从计算机化的病人记录(CPR)110中挖掘信息。所述数据挖掘器150包括用于从CPR提取信息152、随时间以有原则性的方式组合所有可利用的证据154、并且根据此组合过程提取推理的部件156。可以将挖掘的信息存储在结构化的CPR 180中。
提取部件152处理从涉及病人的每个数据源收集的小块信息,将其在特定的时间作为对病人的概率断言而表示出来。将这些概率断言称作元素。组合部件154组合涉及同一时间周期的同一变量的所有元素,以便形成涉及该变量的一个统一的概率断言。将这些统一的概率断言称作仿真陈述(factoid)。所述推理部件156在相同和/或不同的时间点处理这些仿真陈述的组合,以便生成病人状态随时间进展的连贯且简洁的图像。将病人状态的这些进展称作状态序列。
图2举例说明了用于浏览挖掘的病人信息的示范性主测览器屏幕200。所述示范性主浏览器屏幕200包括运行状态选择器202、病人选择器204以及输入按钮206。
在操作中,与主浏览器画面200交互的用户利用病人选择器204输入病人标识符,并且利用运行状态选择器202输入数据挖掘运行状态。然后,所述用户点击输入按钮206以便输入所选择的病人标识符以及运行状态。
所述数据挖掘运行状态可以包括挖掘病人病历的特定运行周期(例如运行日期、时间)。当检索信息时,它可以只包括到该点为止当时的信息。
参见图3,举例说明了示范性的选择屏幕300。所述选择屏幕300可以包括多个输入按钮,每个输入按钮都用于显示一信息级。例如,所述用户可以点击输入按钮以便选择汇总信息。图4举例说明了从选择屏幕300选择汇总信息的结果。如图4所示,示出了特定病人信息的汇总。此汇总概况包括所有涉及病人血糖(glycemic)控制的元素、文档以及测试,其是呈现给特定用户的病人记录的视图。
有益的是,呈现给特定用户的病人信息可以取决于该用户的身份或角色。例如,为心脏病专家呈现与肿瘤学家不同的数据视图。同样地,可以向医师呈现与呈现给护士或药物分配人员的信息不同的信息。通过显示病人信息的不同视图,用户可以更加有效地使用感兴趣的信息。
另一个选择是显示所有的病人信息(每个元素以及导出的结论),但是按照疾病的相关性降低的顺序来对此列表进行排序。举例来说,一个病人的大多数的相关项目可以是他的异常试验结果,而另一个试验结果正常的病人可能具有癌症的家族史的最相关项目。
参见图5,举例说明了示范性的验证屏幕。此屏幕允许用户向下钻研元素,直到其底层源。在这种情况下,已经选择了“STTAbn;值:正确,0.8”的元素,将医师记录显示在屏幕的右侧部分。医师记录的高亮显示部分指示从中导出过元素的数据。在这种情况下,可以断定有80%的概率病人的ECG显示ST-T波异常。图6举例说明了另一个元素的向下钻研“STTabn;值:错误,0.7”,其同图5中所示的元素相矛盾。在这种情况下,可以断定有70%的概率病人的ECG显示ST-T波异常。用户可以使用验证屏幕来验证根据底层的数据源推理的结论。
虽然图5和6示出了底层数据源是医师记录,但是应该理解的是,所述数据源可以采用其它形式。例如,所述元素可以从(以及链接到)医疗图像、波形和结构化的信息(例如,数据库中包含的信息)中导出。
参见图7,可以向用户显示文档。在这种情况下,所述用户选择由急诊室(ER)人员记下的医师记录。可以从此文档中包含的信息导出两个独立的元素。图8示出了显示在所述探查屏幕上的另一个文档。如图所示,此文档包括六个分类中的十四个元素。
图9和10举例说明了从结构化的数据源中提取的病人信息。具体来讲,图9示出了特定病人的实验室结果。如上所述,所述实验室结果包括日期、时间、测试名称和测量值。图10示出了给病人开的各种药物。这个信息包括药品名称、日期、剂量和价格信息。在适当的情况下,可以将从结构化的数据源处获得的信息转换为标准化单位。
图11到13举例说明了示范性的病人汇总屏幕。图11示出了‘BGLUT’(血糖级)的汇总结果。如图所示,将各种汇总信息呈现给用户。同样,图12示出了“TCPL”的汇总结果。如图13所示,显示出了与各个血糖控制方面有关系的病人汇总信息。
虽然所述示范性的屏幕使用几个选择菜单和按钮,但是应该理解的是,可以利用各种装置来接纳诸如病人标识符、挖掘器运行状态、文档、元素、分类等等的不同参数的选择,所述各种装置诸如多个图形用户界面选择窗口部件、复选框、按钮、列表框、弹出或下拉标记、文本条目框等等,或者任何已知的或稍后开发的操作者可以访问的界面。应该理解的是,在此举例说明的不同示范性屏幕还可以包括、或者作为选择,可以包括能够显示、探查和验证挖掘的病人信息的任何装置。
虽然已经参照附图在此描述了本发明的例证性实施例,但是应该理解的是,本发明不局限于那些具体的实施例,在不脱离本发明的范围或精神的情况下,本领域技术人员可以对其做出各种其他的改变和修改。
Claims (16)
1.一种用于浏览挖掘的病人信息的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:
选择病人信息以便查看,至少一些病人信息是概率随机的;
在屏幕上显示所选择的病人信息,所选择的病人信息包括到相关信息的链接。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所选择的病人信息包括从病人的可用数据源中提取的一个或多个原始信息以及从中得出的结论。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所选择的病人信息是从非结构化的数据源中导出的。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所选择的病人信息包括与非结构化的信息相链接的元素。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所选择的信息包括与具有高亮显示信息的记录相链接的元素。
6.如权利要求4所述的方法,其中高亮显示的信息指的是用于导出所述元素的信息。
7.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中所述非结构化的信息包括自由文本、医疗图像信息和波形信息之一。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所选择的病人信息是从结构化的数据源中导出的。

选择病人信息以便查看,至少一些病人信息是概率随机的;
在屏幕上显示所选择的病人信息,所选择的病人信息包括到相关信息的链接。
