Abstract

本发明涉及毛发生长的处理(management),尤其是处理或控制毛发生长的方法和设备,其不会直接引起可通过常规的光学显微镜就可观察到的毛囊的组织学变性,或毛干或至少一部分的毛囊的破坏。
发明背景
人体有一些需要永久去除毛发的部位,例如妇女的脸部或腿部的毛发,对于上述的毛发以及男性和女性的其他部位不希望有的毛发,希望能有一种将毛发生长处理到低水平的方法。毛发生长处理方法可以是暂时的,如数周,或永久停止毛发生长;暂时或永久改变,要么加快要么减缓,毛发的生长速度;和/或暂时或永久的改变所选的毛干的特性,包括但不限于,改变毛干直径、形状、颜色,和机械特性如弹性和弯曲/卷曲。毛发生长的处理可以包括去除毛干、破坏毛干,和/或改变毛囊结构。当前大多数处理毛发的技术都是采用对患者的皮肤进行辐射,一般是光辐射的技术,高辐射剂量足以使毛囊的蛋白结构变性,因此一般会导致毛囊坏疽。这些技术中使用的能量一般也会导致毛干的直接破坏或显著改变。然而,对患者皮肤使用这么高的能量也会破坏患者的表皮,尤其是皮肤黑的个体,例如会引起皮肤破坏或疤痕,甚至治疗之前和过程中的保护疗法如冷却皮肤,也会导致患者在治疗中的不同程度的不适和痛苦。这就要求这样的疗法必须由皮肤科医生或其他有资格的医生进行操作、或至少由这些医生监督。用于这种疗法的高功率/能量设备也相对昂贵。较贵价格的设备需要高的操作费用,良好训练的人员导致毛发去除过程较贵,这些相结合显著的限制了这种疗法对于公众的可用性,由于难于治疗黑皮肤个体其可用性进一步受到限制。

发明概述
根据上述,本发明提供一种在患者皮肤的治疗部位对毛发生长进行处理的方法,包括对治疗部位的毛囊进行光辐射,波长、功率密度和持续时间都足以达到至少损伤治疗部位的至少一块选定毛囊的基体(matrix)部分,但是不足以引起任何所述毛囊的一些或大部分坏疽或直接的大体改变它的毛干。毛囊的基体和乳头状突起之间的基体(matrix)的基底膜(basement membrane)也可以被损坏。基体优选加热到一定温度范围,如图2所示,但是至少大多数受处理的毛囊的温度在此范围之下。波长、功率密度和持续时间的范围大体由表1所示,根据受治疗部位的毛干的颜色而定。治疗方法优选在选定的时间间隔中重复进行,时间间隔可以从一天到八星期,但是优选一周到六周。疏松的毛发可以在进行完该方法之后约一到两个星期从治疗部位脱去,例如可以用胶带(tape)脱去疏松的毛发。在一些实施方案中,光辐射一般以表3中所示的速度范围对治疗部位进行扫描,从光源出来的辐射的功率密度一般依赖于表3所示的光源的波长,扫描光束的宽度和扫描速度。进行辐射扫描的地方,光辐射源可以是连续波(CW)源。在一个疗程中治疗部位的至少一部分可以被多次辐射。

本发明还涉及用于对患者皮肤的治疗部位进行毛发生长处理的设备,其包括光辐射源;和将辐射施加到治疗部位的机械装置;当施加于所述治疗部位的毛囊时,光源应具有足够的波长、功率密度和持续时间达到至少损坏治疗部位的至少选定的毛囊的基体部分,但是不足以引起大多数所述毛囊的坏疽或直接大体改变它的毛干。波长、功率密度和持续时间的范围大体由表1所示,根据受治疗部位的毛干的颜色而定。

发明详述
一般概念
如上文所示,用光辐射脱毛有其目标,即永久脱去毛干和相关联的毛囊。该方法的目标接近于电解。两种情形之中,脱去毛干而破坏毛囊。尤其是,在电解和光学脱毛术中通过破坏毛囊的上皮细胞、造成了组织创伤,导致毛囊永久失去功能从而达到了永久性的要求。也可以通过破坏位于毛囊-泌脂单元的突起部分的能保持毛发生长周期的干细胞来达到永久性的目的。
在以激光/光为媒介的人类毛发生长处理的广泛的临床研究的基础上,已经清楚的确立了与该方法相关的功率密度、脉冲宽度和功率密度。只要激光、发光二极管(LED)、灯或其他光源的辐射波长与毛囊系统的吸收相一致,在一个由下面要讨论的多个因素所确定的水平之上的功率密度就可以导致永久脱毛。已经观察到由于较低的功率密度或流量,有可能改变毛发生长的特性;毛发颜色会更浅并且更细;毛发生长变慢,最后脱落,引起暂时性脱毛。然而,这样的治疗参数的组合实际上导致了相反的效果,例如增大了毛发生长率和毛干的直径以及颜色。
当功率密度低于能永久脱毛的水平时,光治疗并不适于作为皮肤病学手段进行hirsuitism的快速治疗,但从上面的简述来看,在很多情况下,毛发的化妆处理是可以接受的。也可用于扩展hirsuitism的治疗范围(term)。
本发明的特征一般在于发现了迄今被视为不足以治疗hirsuitism的光辐射治疗的范围,确定了永久脱毛,这是可行并且有用的毛发化妆的机理。本发明特别限定根据安全和效率优化的新的治疗参数范围,其可以用于非医疗环境中对毛发生长进行处理。在此特定条件下的操作允许使用治疗仪器以自治疗模式和/或非医疗人士操作。应用本发明的参数进行单次治疗虽可以收到暂时效果,但是欲取得预期的毛发处理效果一般需要多次在选定的时间间隔中进行多次治疗,时间间隔可以是约一天到八周,一般优选一到六周。优选的治疗间隔期因被治疗的患者、患者的治疗部位以及其他因素而不同,效果会随治疗次数增强。
考虑到有些可能的机理可以解释化妆领域的光辐射效果,焦点集中在毛囊基体上。这种只有在生长或毛发生长初期的毛囊中才有的基体,对于毛发的形成、着色和生长相当于工厂中的引擎,毛囊泡的基体细胞具有代谢活性很强的未分化细胞,人头皮毛囊中的这些细胞的完整周期只有约39小时。可能除骨髓以外,这些基体细胞的代谢周转快于任何其他普通组织。与乳头状突起相邻的基体细胞增生扩散的也非常迅速。他们刺激(power)了细胞将来向皮肤表面的运动。距离乳装突起远的基体细胞,其有丝分裂的活性也降低了。
显然,这里描述了一个快速成长的细胞体系,需要优化的条件来持续其高性能。尤其是,整个基体都必须能产生毛发并且乳头装突起(papilla)可以获得血液供应,这样代谢过程所需的能量得以保证。因此,损伤基体或乳头状突起、或它们的一部分、或中断或减少基体从乳头状突起获得的血液供应的过程,就会限制或控制基体促进毛发产生的过程的速率;因此这是处理毛发生长的关键。这种控制依赖于怎么样彻底的或以什么程度限制基体细胞的活动和/或乳头状突起中的血液供应。在目前可行的光学毛发处理体系中,其目标首先是永久消除毛发,基于这种讨论,其意思是指彻底破坏基体和乳头状突起。本发明的基本目标在于对于毛囊和基体的限制性破坏/干扰,尤其是,较低程度的对于乳头状突起,即达到能够取得暂时处理毛发生长的目标的程度。充分但是限制性的破坏/干扰的要求将这一过程置于一个状态之下,其中已知存在控制细胞活动的形成和破坏的微妙过程。例如,对于基体细胞死亡的处理可以被细胞凋亡的活动所控制,它反过来被分子调节器(regulator)所调节,分子调节器是光能干扰的结果。任何毛囊的自然生长周期都从基体和乳头状突起活跃的活跃生长状态(毛发生长初期anagen)进行到基体消失且乳头状突起从毛囊中分离出来的不活跃状态(毛发生长终期telogen)。在毛发生长初期和毛发生长终期之间的过渡状态称为毛发生长中期(catagen),它由基体与相邻的毛囊上皮细胞部分的细胞凋亡(程序性细胞死亡)所引发。由于这个自然周期,对基体和/或相邻部分的毛囊上皮细胞的微弱热损伤能引发毛发生长初期的毛囊进入类似毛发生长中期的状态。在光辐射调节毛发生长的情况下,以例如热干扰或损伤基体细胞,乳头状突起细胞或乳头状突起细胞血液供应的原理操作,干扰光源的特性应具有正确的波长范围以使基体(黑素细胞)和/或血液供应(血红素)的发色团所吸收。在有些情况下,应优化光脉冲持续时间以保证适当的介于吸收发色团和靶细胞之间的热扩散。
在本发明的方法中,对人体的光处理影响大多数毛发生长初期的毛囊,然而,毛发生长中期和毛发生长终期的毛囊也对脱毛有贡献。
关于应用本发明的方法对毛发生长初期的毛囊进行光处理的可能机理,有两种假说符合临床对于毛发生长减少的观察:
I.光处理诱发早熟或加速了受影响的毛囊经由类似于改变或调整了的毛发生长中期的过渡状态,从毛发生长初期进入到营养不良的毛发生长初期或毛发生长终期的过渡态。
II.受影响的毛囊保持在一种毛发生长初期或过渡生长受阻(TGA)的状态,其中增殖和黑素生成速率减小,毛发生长在未成熟时即停止。
不管哪种机理占优势,经过一到两个星期之后,毛囊中的毛发脱落或可以容易被胶带去掉。当毛囊处于光诱导的毛发生长中期/毛发生长终期或TGA状态时,基体和乳头状突起也会渐渐从皮下或更深的皮肤区域在皮肤内向上移动到接近皮肤表面的上皮细胞区域(见图5)。
有几个通过吸收光能引发一个或多个上述机理的可能途径。在这些可能的途径中,下述的途径被认为最有可能:
1.毛发基体直接吸收光破坏了增殖细胞,引起完全或部分毛发生长阻滞。这也引发毛囊的内部的毛发生长初期诱导机理。这一途径与上述两种假说都符合。
2.毛细血管的血液对于光的直接吸收、或基体中的黑素细胞和其它色素细胞从光吸收中的热散发足以造成真皮乳头状突起的毛细血管的损伤。这导致流向基体的血液减少和/或基体细胞所需的必要物质释放受阻。这样,流向增生毛发基体的营养就显著减少,这就导致毛发生长减缓。这一途径涉及真皮乳头状突起血液对光吸收的光热效应,能满足假说II。
3.细胞伴随着内根鞘(IRS)的分化细胞向外移动,细胞的相邻层被破坏。结果,相邻层和外根鞘(ORS)之间的牵引增强,而毛干的正常向外运动受阻。这引发了ORS中的反应机制。特别地,它会影响ORS中的内调节器的表达(如,成纤维细胞生长因子FGF5S的表达抑制,正常情况下它能阻碍其他调节器的毛发生长初期-抑制活性)。结果,诱发了向毛发生长中期的过渡(上述的假说I)。这一机理包括毛干中足量的光吸收,然后热传递到IRS、相邻层,和(可能)ORS。
4.毛囊向毛发生长中期的过渡由真皮乳头状突起的成纤维细胞的受激(stimulating)有丝分裂引发。真皮乳头状突起中的成纤维细胞的细胞周期已被视为毛发周期时钟的主要振荡器。特别的,可以假定成纤维细胞分泌一种“乳头状突起成形素(morphogenes)”(PM)的合剂(cocktail),只要成纤维细胞保持在细胞周期的G0/G1状态,其就会引发并保持毛发生长初期。一旦成纤维细胞进入增生扩散活性的状态,PM流停止,引起毛发生长初期终止。另一方面,光刺激成纤维细胞的增生扩散。这一途径提出了光的光化学活性(以及可能的光热的贡献)并支持假说I。
5.进一步深入的讨论,发现,有一个很薄的基底膜(比1微米厚还小),它被认为是基体的与乳头状突起相邻的一面的一部分。基体含有高浓度的黑色素,产生比相应的毛干还要浓3到10倍的黑色素。对这种基底膜的破坏或损伤都能直接减小基体的增生扩散活性并阻碍从乳头状突起到基体的血流,从而间接干扰增生扩散。
6.对乳头状突起的损伤可以导致从相应的毛囊中生长出的毛干的直径和色素沉着的减少,也会引起毛囊基体和乳头状突起从皮肤中向上运动。这些变化能引起光调节的毛发生长处理。
光引发的毛发生长治疗/暂时毛发脱落的其它途径也是可能的。
应用
本发明提供一种新的方法用于处理(减少或抑制)不想要的毛发。现有技术中已经记载了光助毛发脱落,然而所有记载的这些设备和技术都显著的破坏或损坏毛囊,并直接导致毛发生长受阻。这种方式被视为等价于外科手术脱毛,所以被FDA规定为一种医疗方法。但是本发明提供一种新的处理方案,其不必破坏或显著的损坏毛囊;而是在毛囊上引起最小程度的改变,一般产生毛发生长和下述的毛发附件的特定临床表现效果。这些有代表性的效果需要特定的治疗方式和/或结合其他手段,该手段是为了使使用者能够将毛发生长减小到所需的水平。这些效果用本发明技术进行一次或多次治疗之后可以通过特定行为模式予以确认,并且与现有技术中脱毛有实质性不同。好的化妆结果通常不会立刻产生,而是会有时滞和/或短时间隔之后才出现多次治疗的结果,一般大约一天到八周。
本发明的特征包括:

2)被本新方法治疗的典型的毛囊在临床表现中的区别。
3)应用多次治疗和/或与其它特殊方法相结合,获得想要的毛发生长处理/减少。
4)所用的参数的结合/范围。
单独考虑下述的各特征:
1)通常,设备都被设计得会显著破坏毛囊,包括毛干本身,这些现有技术方法和设备一般会融化或熔化毛干。这些设备的影响所及,会造成融化,或至少会变色(变棕色),大多数被治疗的毛囊的毛干。而用新方法处理的大多数毛干和毛囊一般不会出现这种大的变化。有时,可以发生一些毛发的弯曲。在新处理方法中,一般不会看到显著的变棕、直接毛干破裂或断裂、或毛囊本身的破裂。因此,处理之后毛干还保存在毛囊中。对位于突起部位的毛囊的干细胞有热破坏的倾向。承受各种破坏或损伤的毛囊的结构包括毛发基体细胞、与毛发基体细胞共处的黑素细胞,基体和乳头状突起之间的基体的基底膜部分、乳头状突起细胞,或其它离包括Reratinozeid区域在内的毛球近的细胞。因为所用的参数一般较不具有侵蚀性,本治疗方法可以不必先剃或剪掉毛发。
2)下述为使用了本方法之后典型的毛囊的临床表现。典型的,没有毛干的显著变色或治疗后烧灼的臭味。并且,典型的没有或最多也很有限,受治疗毛囊周围的毛囊周浮肿(隆起)和红斑(变红)也未出现(这是当前即使不是全部,也是大多数现有技术的临床的终点)。治疗应当无痛。毛干的附件在治疗后通常不会立刻产生显著改变。受治疗的毛囊会正常的生长1天到6周,平均为2周,在治疗之后,毛囊的毛干的附件显著的减少,可以是毛干脱落或变得易于机械清除,如使用粘性胶带。但是,在生长期间,生长率不同于,一般小于,未治疗的毛囊,至少在此期间的大部分时间,生长率可以改变。约两周后就会观察到相对突然的毛发脱落。实际上毛囊还可以继续产生毛干。但是治疗后,尤其是多次有规律治疗后,这种毛干会颜色更浅或直径更小生长率更低。直到生长率、直径或颜色有明显改变,可以几次治疗。
3)由于其临床表现,这种方法可以与其他特殊治疗相结合;比如:

2.时间间隔按计划或根据需要,可以是固定的也可以是可变的,典型的时间间隔从约一天到八周/两个月,优选每周或每三到六周进行多次治疗。本发明也考虑其他的治疗间隔,所要求的治疗间隔基于多种因素包括受治个体、先前治疗数量、先前的治疗间隔、先前的治疗参数等而变化。例如,治疗间隔可以因患者治疗次数的增加而增加。原因之一在于毛发生长初期状态的毛囊具有重要的基体,因此,更易于治疗。所以,可能会需要一周或以后的另一治疗,对这样的毛囊进行治疗:其在最初治疗中处于毛发生长中期或毛发生长终期状态,而现在处于毛发生长初期状态,还能产生毛干。但是,随着治疗的进行,一般的,毛囊会朝向syncronicity,每次治疗期间受治疗的毛囊的数量会增长,但是毛干的数量会随着治疗次数的增加而减少。这是用于确定治疗之间适当间隔的因素之一。其他参数也会随治疗次数的增加而变化。例如,由于随着治疗的进行,毛囊的基体和乳头状突起朝表面移动,光子不必到达深层皮肤,这样就可以用短波辐射,它可以被基体的黑素细胞强烈吸收。在后来的治疗中,离表面更近的基体也可以使用更低的功率密度。最后,前述毛囊的基体比其他部分的毛囊更近,也就是说这些来自基体的热辐射也可以对控制毛发生长的毛囊的附加部分进行热损伤,例如毛囊干细胞。基体位置、毛干直径、颜色等和其他数次治疗之后的毛囊的变化的区别可以确定此后治疗的参数,下文将予以讨论。进一步的,对于单次治疗,提供辐射的光探头(Head)/设备应能应用于或多次通入给定的治疗部位,对毛干或毛囊没有立刻的改变或破坏,这使得多次通入易于进行。
3.如果有足够的频率(1次/周到1/2月,因身体部位和患者而定),新的治疗方法可以单独用于处理不想要的毛发生长,或者甚至当与平均毛发生长速率相比,毛发生长速率下降,或毛发密度暂时减小,而使得剃毛速率减小时,也可以与剃毛结合使用。如果治疗是在剃毛之前或优选数天之前,本发明的治疗还会导致剃毛后缺少pseudofolliculitis barbae(PFB)。这一效应的基本原因在于生长率的减小,其又减小毛发重新进入皮肤的可能性。其他有贡献的因素有毛干的小型化和毛干的物理/化学结构的改变。本发明的教导还有:
a)对于角质化的毛发的治疗,这阻碍了角质化引起的毛囊漏斗管(infundibulum)。
b)故意诱发毛发生长阶段变化的治疗,这在临床如涉及癌症的化疗中是有用的,其能避免涉药排放(drug related effluvium)。这是因为毛发生长初期阶段最敏感,并且在治疗之前转化为不同的状态有助于减小或避免涉药排放。
c)受诱导的毛发生长的同步化可用于调节和优化各种光助毛发治疗,当其处于易处理的毛发生长阶段时。
d)调节男性胡须生长减少剃须的频率。
4.新的治疗方法可以结合其他毛发处理技术产生协同和更好的化妆效果,如,与化学脱毛或其他毛发生长减弱/停止用洗剂结合。在毛干脱落或去除之后,这样的额外的治疗特别有效,不像毛干被拔掉、上腊或类似技术中除去那样,这些技术会导致水肿阻碍毛囊漏斗,但是本发明的方法中不存在这样的问题。这样,这些局部化合物更容易进入毛囊,因此也更有效。所以,毛发脱落之后的时间是使用这种化合物的理想时间。在光处理之间也可以使用软腊(soft waxing)。体内的,草本的,或其他对毛发生长处理有效的天然药物都可以与本发明的治疗结合使用。
5.新处理方法可以跟其他皮肤处理相结合用于增强治疗效果。比如,皮肤的深(直到毛发基体的深度)预热能提高疗效。这种预热可以使用另外的深加热电磁或声学设备实现。预热时间为1-10000秒。热浴和/或热腊能够达到相同的目的。用于治疗的相同的设备也能用于预热,但是使用较低的功率设置。另一可能的其他治疗可以是活化血液供应的按摩。
治疗参数
黑色素浓度和相邻于毛发乳头状突起的毛发生长初期的毛发的基体的光吸收,和尤其是在基体中,比毛干中的强3-10倍。所以,基体和区域1的温度上升高于毛囊中任何其他部位,包括毛干。这就可能对毛发基体,包括基底膜部分以及相邻的毛发乳头状突起P(见图1),进行选择性治疗,而不会破会任何其他部位的毛囊。这种治疗的效果可以是将毛发生长初期的毛囊缓慢过渡到TGA或被修饰的状态。
参数
本发明的治疗方法的参数的范围如下表和图所示,由毛囊的最热区域(图1)的阿仑尼乌斯积分(Arrhenius integral)A计算得出。最小热损伤定义为A=0.1且最大损伤为A=1(或更大);但是,由于当毛囊被辐射时,区域1强烈受热超出毛囊/毛干的其它区域,甚至当该区域A=1时,对剩余的毛囊/毛干也几乎没有或没有破坏/损伤。对于低值的A,阻碍毛发生长所需的时间应当更长些。
应当知道,下面的表和图使用结构细胞蛋白变性已知过程参数(活化能和频率因子)从Arrhenius算式计算出来。机理1到机理5都涉及酶失活而不是蛋白质变性。前述方法典型的需要更少的能量,比后者在较低的温度下引发。所以,上限之下的参数用于估计本发明所使用的功率密度和流量。需要注意的是相关过程的Arrhenius参数的定量值在当时只有有限的精确度。另外,非Arrhenius型过程(如酶失活)也对整个效应有重要贡献。因此,此处所给参数的范围应认为是例示性的,不限于该范围。
图2所示为Arrhenius积分A=0.1(下曲线)和A=1(上曲线)时的温度。运用皮肤扩散和热方程的标准参数,计算出了对区域1,暗/脏的金黄色毛发的毛发基体,进行选择性的热损伤所需的功率密度和流量。对于暗发且A=0.1,最小流量和功率密度得以确定。所用光脉冲设定为矩形。根据患者的毛发和其它因素,给定的治疗温度应当介于图2所示的两条曲线之间。
治疗的其它变量为毛发生长初期状态的亚状态。在毛发生长初期的早期,毛发基体可以接近皮肤表面且对短波更敏感。
表1,低功率光致脱落的功率密度范围W/cm2,最小值为暗毛发以及最大值为暗/脏金毛发。功率密度对上述特例之间的毛发颜色求积分,也对上述特例之间的波长求积分。

对于用持续波源(CW)(例如US专利6237884记载)的接触扫描,毛发基体中典型的温度和破坏动力学如图3的毛球模型所示。

4.乳头状突起(底部)
图4所示为CW光探头以30mm/s皮肤类型II,在1-基体/基底膜、2-乳头状突起中心、3-乳头状突起边缘、4-乳头状突起底部进行运动的温度脉冲。对于CW治疗,有效温度和脉冲宽度依光探头(Head)移动速度而定。例如,对于30mm/s的CW光探头,极大值半处的全宽度(FWHM)温度脉冲为220ms。
经过数次治疗之后,可以使用低于表1、2、3的参数保持好的化妆效果。
图5所示为适于实施本发明教导的设备11放置于患者皮肤的示例性截面10。皮肤10具有上皮层12,它被基础层15与下皮层14隔开。在真皮层下有下真皮层16。正常的处于毛发生长初期的毛囊18与基体和乳头状突起扩展入下真皮层16,还有处于过渡生长阻滞状态的毛囊20,毛囊的基体处于皮肤的真皮层中很高的位置。设备11包括与患者皮肤接触的光探头12,患者皮肤通过脐带状物26与控制盒24相联。光探头22优选含有辐射源,例如一个或多个激光二极管,LED,灯或其他合适的光辐射源。能量从控制盒24中的电能量源经过脐带状物26或光探头22提供,其中可以含有电池或其他合适的能源。控制电子也可以在盒子24中。辐射源也可以放在盒子24中,从辐射源中的辐射经过脐带物到达光探头22。在辐射源、电源和控制器应能适于光探头22的情况下,控制盒24和脐带状物26可以去掉。光探头22能以选定的速率在皮肤10表面移动或扫描,辐射源为CW辐射源或适当的脉冲源,或这样的带光探头22的脉冲源:光探头22随后移动到皮肤上选定的治疗区域。
本发明使用CW/CCS模式,如US6273884教导的设备也可以用于实施本发明的教导,在被操作的设备中,使用这里的特定的功率密度和其他参数。GaAs或其他二极管激光、激光棒、LED、光纤激光、气体放电Xe或Kr灯、具有合适的色温和过滤的卤素和钨灯,其他的灯或其他合适的光源也可以用作光源。本发明使用脉冲的操作模式,各种光学的皮肤病学设备,或者是使用相干的/激光源、LED、不相干的/灯或其他光辐射源,都可以使用。对于治疗的方法,低价和光源功效都非常重要,光源优选为二极管激光或激光棒、LED、光纤激光、气体放电灯,具有合适的色温和过滤的卤素或钨灯。气体放电和钨灯可以为线型、环型、U型灯等。灯的色温可以为2500-6000K,使用短弧灯则可以增加色温。例如,短弧氙灯可以通过结合反射镜整合到陶瓷-金属结构中。不论使用什么设备,都需要在上述教导的功率密度和其他参数下进行。由于本发明需要相对较低的功率密度,一般均可以使用相对小的灯、廉价和安全的辐射源。
虽然上面描述了本发明的优选实施方式,这些都仅是说明性的,描述的方法,设备和治疗参数可以根据患者、进行的治疗和其他因素而改变。这些改变,以及其他各种形式的改变,对于本领域普通技术人员来说都是显而易见的。本发明并不限于所附的权利要求。
Claims (21)
1.一种对患者皮肤的治疗部位进行毛发生长处理的方法,其包括:
对所述治疗部位的毛囊施加光辐射,光辐射的波长、功率密度和持续时间足以至少损坏至少选定的所述毛囊的基体部分,但又不会引起各所述毛囊的大多数坏疽或直接大体改变其中的任何毛干。
2.权利要求1所述的方法,其中各毛囊基体包括位于基体和毛囊的乳头状突起之间的基底膜,且该毛囊的基底膜被损坏。
3.权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述的受治疗的毛囊的基体被加热到图2所示的温度范围,但是至少各所述毛囊的大多数都处于所述温度范围之下的温度。
4.权利要求1所述的方法,其中的波长、功率密度和持续时间的范围基本上处于表1提供的范围之内,依受治疗部位的毛干的颜色而定。
5.权利要求1所述的方法,包括在选定的时间间隔重复治疗方法的步骤。
6.权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述选定的时间间隔范围从约1天到8周。
7.权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述选定的时间间隔范围从约1周到6周。
8.权利要求1所述的方法,其包括在该方法进行之后约一到二周,从治疗部位剥离除去疏松毛发的步骤。
9.权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述的剥离步骤包括使用胶带将疏松毛发从治疗部位剥离。
10.权利要求1所述的方法,包括以一般处于表3所示的范围之内的速度扫描来自所述源的光辐射掠过所述的治疗部位的步骤,来自所述源的辐射的功率密度依光源的波长、扫描光束的宽度和扫描速度而定,一般在表3所示范围中。
11.权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述的光辐射来自于连续波辐射源。
12.权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述的治疗部位的至少选定部分在治疗期间被多次辐射。
13.一种对患者皮肤的治疗部位进行毛发生长处理的方法,其包括:
对所述部位的毛囊施加光辐射,光辐射的波长、功率密度和持续时间足以导致所述毛囊进入过渡生长阻滞状态,但又不会引起各所述毛囊的大多数坏疽或直接大体改变其中的任何毛干。
14.权利要求13所述的方法,包括在选定的时间间隔内重复治疗方法的步骤。
15.一种用于患者皮肤的治疗部位进行毛发生长处理的设备,包括:
光辐射源:和
将所述的辐射施加到治疗部位的机构;
当施加到所述的治疗部位的毛囊时,所述的源的波长、功率密度和持续时间足以至少损坏至少选定的所述毛囊的基体部分,但又不会引起各所述毛囊的大多数坏疽或直接大体改变其中的任何毛干。
16.权利要求15的设备,其中的波长、功率密度和持续时间的范围基本上处于表1提供的范围之内,依受治疗部位的毛干的颜色而定。
17.一种对患者皮肤的治疗部位进行毛发生长处理的方法,其包括:
对所述治疗部位的毛囊施加光辐射,光辐射的波长、功率密度和持续时间足以至少损坏至少选定的所述毛囊的基体部分,但又不会引起各所述毛囊的大多数坏疽或直接大体改变其中的任何毛干;和
在选定的时间间隔内重复施加的步骤。
18.一种对患者皮肤的治疗部位进行毛发生长处理的方法,其包括:
对所述治疗部位的毛囊施加光辐射,光辐射的波长、功率密度和持续时间足以导致所述毛囊进入过渡生长阻滞状态,但又不会引起至少部分所述毛囊坏疽。
19.权利要求1的方法,其中所述的被治疗的毛囊的基体被加热到约55℃到70℃的温度。
20.权利要求1的方法,其中波长介于约600nm和1200nm之间。
21.权利要求1的方法,其中持续时间介于约0.1ms到约100000ms之间。
