Abstract

背景技术

发明内容
一种形式下,本技术提供一种带内燃机、压缩机和控制器的空气压缩机。该内燃机设有发动机油箱。该压缩机通过该内燃机驱动,且设有压缩机油箱。该控制器与内燃机连接,并响应发动机油箱内的低油状况或压缩机油箱内的低油状况中断内燃机的运行。
另一种形式下,本技术提供一种压缩机,其设有在内部有发动机润滑剂的内燃机、由内燃机驱动并在内部具有压缩机润滑剂的压缩机、以及与内燃机连接的控制器。该控制器响应内燃机内发动机润滑剂的量和压缩机内压缩机润滑剂的量,并且若发动机润滑剂的量小于或等于第一临界量或者内燃机润滑剂的量小于或等于第二临界量,该控制器实现内燃机停止运行。
又一形式下,本发明提供一种方法,其包括:提供一种带内燃机和压缩机的空气压缩机;运行该内燃机供给该压缩机动力;感应内燃机内油的量;感应压缩机内油的量;并且,若内燃机内的油量小于或等于第一临界值或者压缩机内的油量小于或等于第二临界值,则中断内燃机的运行。

具体实施方式
参考图中的图1和2,根据本发明的技术构造的空气压缩机总体由附图标记10表示。空气压缩机10通常可包括内燃机12、压缩机14、存储箱16、气动控制单元18和控制器20。除了此处另有其它说明,内燃机12、压缩机14、存储箱16和气动控制单元18在结构和操作上是传统的,因而,不需详细描述这些部件。
简略地,内燃机12将燃油如汽油转换为用于驱动压缩机14的旋转动力。内燃机12包括:发动机油箱30,其可用于容纳一些发动机油32,用于润滑、冷却内燃机12的各种内部部件;以及点火电路34。点火电路34控制内燃机12的运行,并在所提供的例子中包括磁发电机36。磁发电机36可用于产生电能,该电能由火花塞(未具体示出)利用来启动气缸(未具体图示)内的燃烧事件,以将燃油转换为气体,并驱动活塞(未示出)通过动力冲程。磁发电机36到接地端子38的连接可用于阻止火花塞的动作,由此中断内燃机12的运行。
从内燃机12传递到压缩机14的动力驱动压缩机14内的元件,如一个或多个活塞,以压缩空气。与内燃机12类似,压缩机14包括压缩机油箱40,其可用于容纳一些压缩机油42,用于润滑、冷却压缩机14的各种内部部件。
由压缩机14产生的压缩(即,加压的)空气传送到存储箱16用于存储,直至该压缩空气由气动控制单元18释放。气动控制单元18可包括:压力接头46,其允许用户将空气软管(未示出)连接到压缩机14,以按照需要将压缩空气抽出存储箱16;一个或多个调节器48,其允许用户调节正从存储箱16释放的空气压力;以及可选的一个或多个压力表50,其允许用户监测存储箱16内的压力和/或从存储箱16输出的空气压力。
控制器20可用于识别内燃机12和压缩机14两者内的低油状况,并且,若低油状况在内燃机12或压缩机14内出现时,中断或停止内燃机12的运行。控制器20可包括第一传感器60,第二传感器62和可选的电路闭锁64。
另外参考图3,第一传感器60可用于监测内燃机12内发动机油32的量,并当这些发动机油32少于或等于第一临界值时,产生低发动机油信号。与此类似,第二传感器62可用于检测压缩机14内压缩机油42的量,并当压缩机油42的量少于或等于第二临界值时,产生低压缩机油信号。第一和第二传感器60和62可为任何适当类型的传感器,不必为同一类型。例如,第一和/或第二传感器60和62可为浮动型开关,如由磁性浮子驱动的簧片型开关(e.g.,a LS1900 float sensor by GEMS Sensors of Plainville,CT);或电容液位开关(e.g.,a S46 switch marketed by e-Components International,Inc.of Lancaster,VA)。在所提供的特殊例子中,第一和第二传感器均为浮动型开关,带有由磁性浮子驱动的常开簧片型开关。
在其最基本的形式中,如果低油状况在发动机油箱30或压缩机油箱40内检测到,则第一和第二传感器60和62可将内燃机12的点火电路34(如,磁发电机36)选择性地连接到接地端子38,以停止或中断内燃机12的运行。
可选电路闭锁64可用于保证内燃机12干净利索并快速地终止,以响应检测到内燃机12或压缩机14内的低油状况。更具体地,电路闭锁64可用于感应点火电路34到接地端子38的接地,以及响应地将点火电路34连接到接地端子38,直至出现预定事件时复位。在所提供的特殊例子中,电路闭锁64包括选择性地连接点火电路34和接地端子38的晶闸管70,并响应点火电路34的掉电(当内燃机12的运行中断并且磁发电机36不产生电能时该情况出现)而“复位”(即,将点火电路34从接地端子38断开)。

Claims (20)

1、一种空气压缩机,其包括:
内燃机,其具有发动机油箱;
压缩机,其由内燃机驱动,该压缩机具有压缩机油箱;以及
控制器,其连接到内燃机,该控制器响应发动机油箱内的低油状况中断内燃机的运行,该控制器还响应压缩机油箱内的低油状况中断内燃机的运行。
2、根据权利要求1所述的空气压缩机,其中,内燃机包括点火电路,且控制器将点火电路连接到地以中断内燃机的运行。
3、根据权利要求2所述的空气压缩机,其中,控制器包括闭锁电路,其响应发动机油箱或压缩机油箱内的低油状况而闭锁,并当内燃机的运行已被中断时开锁。
4、根据权利要求1所述的空气压缩机,其中,控制器包括第一传感器,其布置为与发动机油箱内的油接触,该第一传感器响应发动机油箱内的油位。
5、根据权利要求4所述的空气压缩机,其中,第一传感器是开关。
6、根据权利要求5所述气压缩机,其中,该开关是浮动开关。
7、根据权利要求4所述的空气压缩机,其中,控制器包括第二传感器,其布置为与压缩机油箱内的油接触,该第二传感器响应压缩机油箱内的油位。
8、根据权利要求7所述的空气压缩机,其中,第二传感器是开关。

10、一种空气压缩机,其包括:
内燃机,其内有发动机润滑剂;
压缩机,其由内燃机驱动,该压缩机内具有压缩机润滑剂;以及
控制器,其连接到内燃机,该控制器响应内燃机内发动机润滑剂的量、并响应内燃机内压缩机润滑剂的量,并且,若发动机润滑剂的量小于或等于第一临界量或者压缩机润滑剂的量小于或等于第二临界量,该控制器实现内燃机运行的停止。
11、根据权利要求10所述的空气压缩机,其中,该控制器包括位传感器,用于监测发动机润滑剂的量和压缩机润滑剂的量中的至少一个。
12、根据权利要求11所述的空气压缩机,其中,位传感器是浮动开关。
13、根据权利要求12所述的空气压缩机,其中,该浮动开关包括簧片开关和与簧片开关接触的浮子以触发该浮动开关。
14、一种方法,其包括:
提供一种带内燃机和压缩机的空气压缩机;
运行内燃机以供给压缩机动力;
感应内燃机内油的量;
感应压缩机内油的量;以及
若内燃机内油的量小于或等于第一临界值,或者压缩机内油的量小于或等于第二临界值,中断内燃机的运行。
15、根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中,内燃机的中断操作包括将内燃机的点火电路连接到接地端子。
16、根据权利要求15所述的方法,其中,在将点火电路连接到接地端子后,不管内燃机内油的量或压缩机内油的量,该方法还包括将点火电路闭锁到接地端子。
17、根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中,感应内燃机内油的量包括确定内燃机内的油是否处于或低于预定位。
18、根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,确定内燃机内的油是否处于或低于预定位包括:
将浮动传感器置于内燃机的油箱内,该油箱容纳内燃机内的至少一部分油;以及
当油箱内的油位低于或等于预定位时,触发浮动传感器。
19、根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中,感应压缩机内油的量包括确定是否压缩机内的油处于或低于预定位。
20、根据权利要求19所述的方法,其中,确定压缩机内的油是否处于或低于预定位包括:
将浮动传感器置于压缩机的油箱内,该油箱容纳压缩机内的至少一部分油;以及
