发明内容
本发明涉及具有可编程服务事件显示模式的可编程控制器。按照本发明说明性实施方式的可编程控制器可以包括:用于对控制器中服务事件显示模式进行编程和/或用于当控制器检测到服务事件时显示技术维护信息的接口。在某些实施方式中,可以提供该接口以作为用户接口的一部分,例如是插入在控制器外壳内的触摸屏或者LCD面板/小键盘。在其他实施方式中,可以提供该接口以作为与用户接口相分开的一个接口,它允许在控制器以外的位置对控制器编程。

接口40可以被提供作为上述用户接口28的一部分,也可以被提供作为与用户接口28相分开的一个接口。例如,在某些实施方式中,接口40可以包含一个菜单或者屏幕,经由用户接口28利用安全码或者密码可获得该菜单或屏幕。如果希望的话,该菜单或者屏幕可以被配置成只允许制造商或者经授权的技师或机构将技术维护信息编程到控制器12中。

如果控制器没有从一个或多个系统部件接收到服务指示符,则控制器可以被配置来确定是否任何一个设备服务定时器(如果存在)的时间已经过去,如方框50总地所示的。例如,如果控制器确定过滤单元的过滤器已经使用了某一段时间并且可能需要更换,那么控制器可以被配置来显示一个授权的过滤器承包者或经销商的徽标和电话号码。关于将要更换的过滤器的类型的信息也可以像其他有关的技术维护信息一样被显示,正如期望的那样。

当控制器56检测到在一个或多个系统部件中的故障时,或当在控制器56中预先编程的设备服务事件定时器期满时,服务事件显示屏幕66可被触发。在某些实施方式中,用户通过按压触摸屏60上的一个或多个图标按钮,可以激活服务事件显示屏幕66,引起控制器56在屏幕60上显示期望的技术维护信息。
