Description

技术领域
本申请涉及检验布置在多区域供暖、通风与空调(HVAC)系统的多个区域内的传感器与相对应的区域风门正确关联的方法。
背景技术
在典型的管道式HVAC系统中,室内空气输送机中的送风机使空气通过管道系统流通到住宅的各个部分。在典型的分区域HVAC系统中,管道被分成若干区域,一个区域对应于被要求独立于其他区域而控制的各楼宇部分。将一组风门安装进管道,其中每个区域使用至少一个风门。这些风门可以是打开或者关闭的,以根据需要将或多或少的空气引导至特定区域来满足该区域所期望的舒适度。通常,用系统控制部件来控制管道操作。对于住宅中的各个区域,所期望的舒适度被设置成所期望的房间温度设定值,并且由用户进行设置。
在一个现有技术的系统中,用户(如房主)可在主用户界面或系统控制部件(也是第一区域的恒温器)处为各区域设置这个期望的房间温度设定值。或者,也可在各区域内放置设定值控制器。
各区域具有测量区域内实际房间温度并通过电方式将该值传输至系统控制部件的温度传感器。系统控制部件接着将各区域内的实际温度和其各自对应的设定值进行比较。如果一个或多个区域不处在所期望的温度,则该系统就开启供冷或供暖设备(根据需要)并打开该区域的风门。以这种方式,供冷或供暖容量根据需要被输送至各区域以使感测的区域实际温度与各区域所期望的温度匹配。在更先进的系统中,不仅可以将风门完全打开或关闭,而且还可以将它们调节到许多中间位置从而达到更精确的舒适控制程度。
如所述,分区域HVAC系统的各区域具有温度传感器并相对应地具有将经温度调节的空气引导至各区域的管道系统的风门。在典型安装中,所有传感器和所有风门被连接到系统控制部件。因为风门位于管道系统并且传感器通常位于各区域的墙上,各区域的风门在接线时正确地对应于相同区域的传感器是很重要的。否则,分区域系统不能正确运行并在所有区域内维持所期望的舒适度。系统控制部件可命令风门打开来校正特定区域的温差并控制错误区域的风门。
然而,如果发生了这种布线错误,舒适问题可能不会即刻显现。某些区域可能不需要任何长时间的调节并且可能直到那时也未注意到布线错误的影响,这取决于房主的设定值和室外状况。如果不等待正确的状态设置显现,安装者就没有简单的办法来检验正确的安装。
上述的现有技术系统确实提供了检验正确安装的方法。安装者可从系统控制部件命令与任何区域相关联的风门打开。然后,安装者必须到达该区域并检验空气正从其通风装置中被输送。该方法确实检验了风门是否正在工作,但是它没有检验风门是否与正确的传感器相对应。该方法还需要安装者在各区域和系统控制部件之间来回走动。
发明内容
依据本发明,安装者可以用系统控制部件进行分区域安装的检验,该控制部件还充当了维修工具。系统控制部件上最好设有输入开关,系统控制部件可以是允许将系统控制转到安装检验模式的主恒温器。接着,安装者到住宅的任何区域用该区域的温度传感器向系统发信号。在一些实施例中,根据区域内传感器的类型,可以用若干种方式发信号。作为标准温度传感器的例子,安装者可断开传感器处的两条导线中的一条。对于具有输入能力的“智能传感器”,安装者可按下预先指定键。当然,也可使用其他的方法。
在任一情况下,系统控制部件现在都可获知安装者处于特定的区域内。所述系统打开该区域的风门同时关闭所有其他区域的风门并运行室内空气输送机来输送预定的气流量。如果该区域的传感器和风门被正确接线,安装者应当感觉空气从区域的通风装置中流出来,否则不会有空气从区域的通风装置中流出来。然后,安装者来到下一区域。此外,在借助于该区域的传感器发送信号之后,其风门应当打开,将气流送至该区域。通过这种方式和任何便利的顺序可检验系统内的所有区域。
根据下面的说明和附图,可以更好地理解本发明上述的和其他的特征,下面是对附图的简要说明。

具体实施方式
图1中说明的HVAC系统20的部分具有区域控制部件22,它用于操作与多个区域中的各区域相关联的多个风门26,并用于接收来自与同样的多个区域相关联的多个传感器28的控制信息。如图所示,导线30将传感器连接到区域控制22并且传感器被示为“智能传感器”,它们各自具有输入端32以允许操作者设置所期望的温度设定值或以其他方式向控制部件22以及最终向系统控制部件24提供信号。各部件26、28、24和22之间的通信最好是在控制线路上进行的数字串行通信,这在2004年1月7日提出的、标题为“SerialCommunicating HVAC System”、序号为No.10/752,626的同时待审的美国专利申请中被公开,其全部公开内容通过引用而结合于本文。
如图2的流程图所示,一旦系统20被初步安装,技术人员就可执行检验过程以确认控制部件24和控制部件22使各风门26和各个传感器28与正确的区域相关联。首先,安装者可通过某种方法(如操作键盘或开关)使控制部件24或控制部件26转到安装检验模式。接着,安装者将到第一区域向控制部件24发送信号,识别来自特定区域的信号。可通过断开导线30或操作输入开关32来发送信号。当然,也可用其他方法将信号提供给控制部件24以指示正在响应的特定传感器。
一旦控制部件24看到区域信号的存在,与该区域相关联的风门就被驱动而打开。与HVAC系统相关联的送风机50被操作,驱使经调整的空气通过管道系统52到达风门打开的区域。在该区域的技术人员接着可通过检查以确认空气被送进与已发信号的传感器相关联的区域,从而确认风门是打开的。在一个公开实施例中,与其他区域相关联的所有风门被关闭,以使技术人员容易确认适当的风门已被打开。
然后,技术人员将通过用开关32发送停止信号、重新连接导线30或其他方式来发信号通知控制部件24第一区域已被正确安装。
另一方面,如果该区域内的风门26未打开,技术人员可确定某些错误接线已经发生。判断不是风门26就是传感器被错误接线。
一旦区域信号已消失,控制部件24接着就关闭特定的区域风门并关掉送风机。然后,控制部件24将等待接收另一区域信号。技术人员逐个区域执行类似的过程以确认系统已被正确安装并确认传感器与各自的风门正确对应。
在该公开实施例中,用户界面或系统控制部件24以及区域控制部件22是微处理器控制部件。系统控制部件24可结合在恒温器中。但也可采用具有这个和其他必要功能的其他类型的控制部件。
尽管已经公开了本发明的优选实施例,但是本领域的普通技术人员当会认识到,在本发明的范围内会存在上述实施例的某些变形。为此,应研读下面的权利要求来确定本发明的真正范围及内容。
Claims (5)
1.一种确认HVAC系统正确安装的方法,所述方法包含下列步骤:
(1)提供HVAC系统,所述HVAC系统包括多个区域,各区域具有风门和相关联的传感器以及使各所述风门和其中一个所述传感器相关联的控制部件;
(2)将所述控制部件转到检验模式,在所述控制部件处发送来自与第一区域相关联的所述风门和所述传感器其中一方的信号,所述控制部件然后在所述相关联的传感器和风门中的另一方实施变化,以让技术人员确认所述风门和传感器在所述控制中是正确关联的;
(3)在第二区域处重复步骤(2),
(4)所述技术人员发送来自所述传感器的信号,并且所述控制部件根据所述信号的接收而改变所述风门的位置,以及
(5)所述第一区域之外的区域的所述风门在步骤(2)期间保持关闭。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中:通过启动输入而由所述传感器发送所述信号。
3.一种确认HVAC系统正确安装的方法,所述方法包含下列步骤:
(1)提供HVAC系统,所述HVAC系统包括多个区域,各区域具有风门和相关联的传感器以及使各所述风门和其中一个所述传感器相关联的控制部件;
(2)在所述控制部件处发送来自与第一区域相关联的所述风门和所述传感器其中一方的信号,所述控制部件然后在所述相关联的传感器和风门中的另一方实施变化,以让技术人员确认所述风门和传感器在所述控制中是正确关联的;以及
(3)在第二区域处重复步骤(2),
其中通过断开导线而由所述传感器发送所述信号。
4.一种HVAC系统,包括:
多个区域,各区域具有风门和相关联的传感器以及与各所述传感器和各所述风门相关联的控制部件;以及
所述控制部件可转到检验模式,在所述检验模式下,所述控制部件接收与其中一个所述传感器相关联的指示安装检查位置的信号,所述控制部件使来自所述其中一个所述传感器的所述信号与一个风门相关联并且改变所述风门的位置,从而使技术人员确认所述传感器和所述风门在所述控制中是正确关联的,
其中通过断开与所述传感器相关联的导线而由所述传感器发送所述信号。
5.如权利要求4所述的系统,其中:通过在所述传感器上启动输入而由所述传感器发送所述信号。
