Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a mobile floor cleaning machine with a cleaning tool that operates in comes with a container for cleaning engagement with the floor Cleaning fluid from which the cleaning tool is cleaning liquid is supplied with a dirty liquid container to absorb used cleaning fluid and with a Suction device with a suction holder for holding ver needed cleaning liquid from the floor and a blower Generating a vacuum that with the dirty liquid container is connected and generates a negative pressure in it, through the used cleaning fluid from the suction holder is transported into the dirty liquid container, the im Discharge tank end outlet of the supply channel for used cleaning liquid above the liquid top surface in the dirty liquid container.
In a known floor cleaning machine of this type (EP 0 934 017 B1), where the dirty liquid container and the container form a unit for cleaning fluid, the Zu Guide channel for used cleaning fluid from the suction holder into the dirty liquid container from a hose and a pipe socket formed through the rear wall of the Dirty liquid container extends and at its outer end the hose is connected. The pipe socket is at an angle inclined above, so that its outlet turns into a dome-shaped Aus bulge extends in the lid of the liquid container. Operational therefore hit the sucked-in used cleaning liquid and the entrained air on the bulge in the lid, and the Liquid then falls down and hits the one already in the Waste cleaning fluid accumulated used cleaning liquid.
Because the cleaning liquid surfactants and other cleaning contains supporting chemicals results from the Auf the drops of liquid hit the surface of the liquid Used cleaning agent located in the dirty liquid container liquid foaming and thus building up a foam layer on the liquid surface. In extreme cases this can happen cause the negative pressure in the dirty liquid container-producing blower foam is sucked in. Through the cleaning chemicals that get into the blower it for washing out grease in the area of the bearing or Bearing of the fan shaft and thus to a failure of the fan.
The same problem arises when you, as also known (DE 30 21 520 A1), the outlet end of the Feed channel for used cleaning liquid above arranges the liquid level in the dirty liquid container, that the used cleaning fluid and the entrained Air can be fed vertically from above, or if known Way (DE 197 52 450 A1) of the feed channel for used Reini supply liquid through the central region of a wall of an Essentially rectangular dirty liquid container occurs.
It is also a floor cleaning machine with a suction device known for used cleaning fluid (GB 2 345 241 A), at which the used cleaning liquid next enters a cyclone separator to remove coarse dirt Chen hold back. It emerges through an overflow pipe Separator tank and then becomes a filter assembly guided. A dirty liquid container for collecting used cleaning fluid is not described, and that due to foam formation in dirty liquid containers There is also a problem with this known floor cleaning machine not available because the overflow of the cyclone separator becomes Liquid drained d. H. it is ensured that from the Separator tank leaking liquid other components, such as the blower generating the vacuum is not damaged. Therefore Foam emerging from the overflow of the cyclone separator if it doesn't cause any damage.
It is an object of the invention in a mobile floor cleaning machine the formation of foam on the surface of the used Reini in the dirty liquid container liquid to reduce significantly and thus the service life to increase the fan.
To solve this task, a mobile floor cleaning machine of the type mentioned at the outset according to the invention designed that towards the interior of the dirt liquid container extended beyond the outlet axis of the outlet end of the dirty liquid supply duct through a side wall area of the dirty liquid container penetrates and the outlet is positioned and aligned so that which together with the used cleaning liquid by the Supply channel conveyed air above the liquid level in a circular or whirling movement is offset.
In the floor cleaning machine designed according to the invention the used cleaning liquid is also from an area above the liquid level in the dirt liquid container supplied, which to a certain extent Foam formation results, but is due to the acting Air sucked into the dirty liquid container such from the feed channel into the interior of the dirty liquid container that transports this air above the liquid surface or swirling. Through this Orbital or vortex movement of the air becomes on the liquid Surface foam in the middle of this surface collected and furthermore kept in motion, whereby a Collapse of the foam takes place, which increases the risk of Build up an amount of foam that blocks the operation of the blower ren could be significantly reduced.
The feed channel can basically be placed anywhere in the Dirty liquid tank enter if only its outlet end in the manner mentioned above the surface of the liquid in the dirty liquid container. However, it is appropriate ßig to arrange the outlet end of the feed channel so that it through a side wall area of the dirty liquid container penetrates because there is a mechanically stable bracket for the end of the outlet and there on the other hand the recording vol of the dirty liquid container for liquid the feed ka running at least partially inside nal is reduced.
The feed channel is usually tubular, i. H. it consists of a one-piece tube or is made of tube and Hose sections assembled, and preferably located the outlet of the feed channel is at a distance from the inner surface of the side wall area penetrated by the feed channel.
To make a particularly effective orbital or whirling movement To reach the guided air is the exiting from the outlet Electricity from used cleaning fluid and air preferred in its flow direction to the course of the neighboring Sidewall area of the dirty liquid container adjusted, d. H. the flow direction runs at least approximately along the Sidewall area and particularly preferably essentially par allel to the liquid surface in the dirty liquid container.
If the dirty liquid container is designed so that adjacent side wall sections at an angle to each other are inclined, the dirty liquid container in the "floor plan" for example, is rectangular or square, the Longitudinal axis of the outlet end of the feed channel preferably in substantially parallel to the adjacent side wall section and has such a small distance from it that this side wall section a guide of the stream emerging from the outlet from used cleaning fluid and air.
In general, it will be enough if the foam formation reducing circulating or swirling movement of the supplied air takes effect when the liquid level in the dirty liquid container has reached such a height that foam is formed could be sucked in by the blower. In this case, therefore the outlet of the feed channel at a corresponding height to be ordered. However, in order to effect the circulation or Whirling movement in every filling state of the dirty liquid container the outlet end of the Feed channel can be adjustable in its height, so that the outlet end at all levels of the dirty liquid always at such a distance above the liquid surface is that the orbital or whirling motion takes effect.
In a preferred embodiment is above the outlet one extending upward in the dirty liquid container Transverse wall, preferably an annular transverse wall, provided that the area above the liquid surface with the blower combines. The transverse wall can be part of the dirty liquid be in the operation-closing lid.
The provision of such a transverse wall ensures that the Flow of the air to be extracted in the dirty liquid container from the area of the liquid surface up over the upper edge of the transverse wall and only then towards the inside Connect the space of the waste liquid container to the blower flows through the suction channel. This increases the flow path internally half of the dirty liquid container and thereby creates one certain sealing effect against entrainment of liquid and foam parts from the interior of the dirty liquid into the suction channel.
The suction channel preferably ends at a distance above one of wall penetrated him so that entrained liquid that is reflected on the wall, does not flow into the suction channel can. Rather, it is useful to surround the suction channel Ver the area of the penetrated wall with a gutter see or shape it as a gutter, so that there are entrained liquid can collect. Then if the reason is one such gutter with the interior of the dirty liquid is in flow connection, for example via a pipe or a hose, this liquid is collected directly into the Dirty liquid container returned.
The invention is illustrated below with the aid of an embodiment figures showing the game are explained in more detail.

On the frame, a driver's cabin 4 is arranged, behind which there is a housing which accommodates the liquid container or the necessary pumps and drives, while the batteries for the supply of the drive energy are usually accommodated under the driver's seat. Between the front wheels 2 and the rear wheels 3 is a rotating cleaning cleaning brush arrangement 6 which is in contact with the floor in cleaning operation and which is supplied with cleaning liquid in cleaning operation. Behind the rear wheels 3 , during operation, a suction receptacle in the form of a suction foot 7 is in contact with the ground, which is connected to the interior of the dirty liquid container via a tubular feed channel 17 .
As already mentioned, the structure explained above and the operation of such a mobile floor cleaning machine usual, so no further explanation is required seem to be.
The dirt liquid shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 container 10, which can be used in a floor cleaning machine according to FIG. 1, has a bottom wall 11 and side wall portions 12, 13, 14, 15, which, as can be seen in particular in Fig. 3 is to delimit a square or rectangular interior 20 . On the bottom wall 11 , a connecting piece 19 'is connected, which allows a complete emptying of the dirty liquid keitsbehälters 10 . The upper end of the dirty liquid keitsbehälters 10 has a "recessed" opening 16 which is surrounded by a support edge.
In operation, the dirty liquid container 10 is closed by a Dec angle 30 , which is pivotally attached to the dirty liquid container 10 in a manner not shown (right in FIG. 4). The lid 30 is by means of an annular seal 31 on the upper opening 16 of the Schmutzflüssigkeitsbehähters 10 surrounding bearing edge sealing, and it has an in the closed state coaxially with the opening 16 of the dirt liquid keitsbehälters 10 extending annular transverse wall 32 which just above the highest wall section of the cover 30 ends. A side wall section 33 of the cover 30 , which extends in the continuation of the plane of the annular seal 31 , has a passage opening which is surrounded by a sealing socket with a radially inwardly directed sealing flange provided at the upper end. With the cover 30 closed, as shown in FIG. 2, the passage opening is penetrated by a pipe socket 36 , which is made of elastic material. The pipe socket 36 is connected via a transition piece 37 to the upper end of the suction channel 39 and seals it by contacting its upper end face on the sealing flange of the sealing piece at the upper end with respect to the environment. The pipe socket forming the upper end 37 of the suction channel 39 is fixedly connected to the dirty liquid container 10 via a holder 38 , and when the cover 30 is opened , the pipe socket 36 slides out of the through opening in the cover 30 . In the closed state of the cover 30 , the pipe socket 36 protrudes somewhat above the wall section 33 of the cover 30 and is partially surrounded by a collecting trough 34 , which is connected to the interior 20 of the dirty liquid container 10 via a schematically illustrated hose connection 35 . The hose connection 35 is arranged at such a location and chosen so long that the cover 30 can be opened without being separated from the cover 30 and / or from the dirty liquid container 10 .
At the lower end of the suction channel 39, which is not shown, this is connected in a conventional manner to a blower of the floor cleaning machine, which generates an underpressure in the storage tank 10 in the dirty liquid in operation, in order in this way to underpressure for sucking up used cleaning fluid through the suction foot 7 of the floor cleaning machine cause.
As mentioned above, the squeegee 7 is the Bodenreinigungsma machine via a feed duct 17, be made up of pipe or hose sections along the tubular or tubular design, or may, with the interior space 20 of the waste liquid container 10 is connected. The outlet end 19 of the supply channel 17 extends, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 2, with a sealed penetration of the side wall region 12 of the dirty liquid container 10 above the maximum liquid level 21 into the interior 20 , so that the outlet 18 of the supply channel 17 is slightly inward protrudes beyond the side wall region 12 . In this case, the outlet 18 is relatively closely adjacent to the side wall region 13 adjacent to the side wall region 12 , and the longitudinal axis of the outlet end 19 runs essentially parallel to the side wall region 13 and also essentially parallel to the liquid surface 21 , so that it extends in the direction of the outlet 18 of the interior 20 ver elongated longitudinal axis penetrates the opposite side wall region 14 .
In operation, cleaning liquid consumed by the suction foot 7 is sucked up from the floor and air by the vacuum generated by the blower (not shown) in the interior 20 of the dirty liquid container 10 and flows, as indicated by the arrows in FIGS. 2 to 4, through the supply channel 17 above the liquid surface 21 in the interior 20 of the dirt liquid container 10 and then up through the annular transverse wall 32 and over its upper edge to the pipe socket 36 and through the suction channel 39 to the blower. Since in this suction process the sucked liquid is mainly transported into the dirt liquid container 10 and only an extremely small amount of liquid is entrained by the flowing air and can still be conveyed over the upper edge of the transverse wall 32 and, moreover, the pipe socket 36 over the Wall area 33 protrudes and is at least partially from a gutter 34 to pass over the transverse wall 32 still entrained liquid in the gutter 34 and not in the suction channel 39 , which therefore only transports air to the compressor. The liquid from the gutter 34 is passed into the interior 20 of the dirt liquid container 10 .
As can be seen in particular Fig. 3, results from the arrangement and orientation of the outlet end 19 and the outlet 18 of the supply channel 17 a kind of circulating or swirling movement of the sucked air and the sucked-up cleaning liquid, with the major part of the cleaning liquid due to its Weight participates only in part of the circulation or vortex movement and falls down into the liquid already accumulated in the interior 20 . As a result of the surfactants and other cleaning chemicals contained in the cleaning liquid, this results in foam formation, ie a foam layer 22 forms on the liquid surface 21 . However, since the sucked-in air above and in the area of the foam layer 22 carries out a circulating or swirling movement, in which part of the air is also deflected towards the liquid surface 20 , as is indicated in FIG. 2, this is then at least then If the fill level in the dirty liquid container approaches the maximum fill level or the foam layer extends into this area, the foam layer into one. Orbital movement offset. This leads not only to a concentration of foam in the central region of the liquid surface 21 , but in particular to a collapse of the foam as a result of the exposure to the air flow and the resulting movements of the foam. In this way it is achieved that the foam cannot build up to such a height that parts of the foam get into the suction channel and thus render the blower inoperable.
In this context, it should be mentioned that it is of course not absolutely necessary that the longitudinal axis of the outlet end 19 of the feed channel 17 runs exactly parallel to the liquid surface 21 and, if the side wall region of the dirty liquid container 10 adjacent to the outlet 18 is flat, runs parallel to the latter, but rather that an orientation sufficient to cause an effective orbital or swirling motion is sufficient to reduce foam formation on the liquid surface 21 . Such a suitable alignment can be determined for each individual case by simple experiments.
