Description
The The invention relates to an optical spectrometer according to the preamble of claim 1
It At present, a variety of optical pickups are known by the recorded different physical quantities can be. Such optical pickups are very inexpensive to manufacture and provide lightwave signals proportional to the detected physical quantity are. For the evaluation and display of such optical signals optical spectrometer used by the lightwave signals be converted into weiterzuverarbeitende electrical signals.
Thus, from a patent application filed on 29.06.2005 at the German Patent and Trademark Office under the file reference 10 2005 030 751.5 an optical strain gauges of optical waveguides with so-called Bragg gratings are known whose wavelength changes is proportional to the longitudinal extension of the optical waveguide section with the Bragg gratings. If such Bragg grating sections are applied to deformation bodies, then expansions, forces or even temperatures can be detected. The light beams reflected by the Bragg gratings are usually supplied via optical fibers to an optical spectrometer which receives the reflected light beams by means of a high-resolution narrow-band Fabry-Perot filter and an opto-electrical converter and converts them into an electrical signal. With the aid of the known filter characteristic of the high-resolution Fabry-Perot filter, the associated wavelength λ B of the reflected light beam can be determined in an evaluation circuit with a photodiode as the optoelectric converter from the intensity of the measurement signal. This is set in the load case of an evaluation circuit with a reference wavelength in proportion and displayed their change as a force or strain or further processed in an arithmetic circuit. Since such high-resolution Fabry-Perot filters are very expensive to manufacture, optical spectrometers equipped with them are usually used only for high-quality measuring tasks. Furthermore, such Fabry-Perot filters and the subsequent optical transducer elements are highly age- and temperature-dependent, so that these optical spectrometers must be recalibrated at a required relatively high accuracy almost before each measurement series. The use of such optical spectrometers is therefore hardly possible in easily manageable measuring and evaluation devices.

Of the The invention is therefore based on the object, an optical spectrometer to create that for both high-resolution Measured value captures, high-resolution Evaluations as well as for a big Wavelength range is suitable and at the same time a simple technical structure allows as well as a high evaluation stability having.
These The object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1 solved. Further developments and advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the subclaims specified.
The Invention has the advantage that all optical filters and opto-electrical Transducer elements on a common semiconductor device preferably are arranged in the form of a photodiode and thereby the same Aging conditions, have the same drift and the same temperature dependence as well as the same manufacturing tolerances, so that a high and consistent conversion accuracy of the lightwave signals can be reached in electrical signals, which is especially in use ensures high measuring accuracy for measurement purposes.
The Invention also has the advantage that by choosing an overlapping, linear passband of the optical filters in a simple manner a difference of the opto-electrical converter output signals possible is, eliminating almost all temperature, aging and drift induced shifts of the operating point can be compensated for on a filter characteristic curve, which in addition the implementation accuracy and their constancy further increased and the Use for measurement purposes a high and consistent measurement accuracy guaranteed becomes. This also means a simple calibration of an evaluation device possible with such an optical spectrometer. At the same time one Such optical spectrometer with constant light wave input signals a high output constancy, so that such optical spectrometer also in low cost manufacturable and easy to handle measuring devices or other evaluation devices can be used are.
The Invention has in addition the advantage of having only two optical filters on a two-part opto-electric Semiconductor converter a big one resolution the lightwave signals can be reached and also a large wavelength range is evaluable. It is also only in the evaluation with a two-part optical filter on a two-part transducer element by the following difference formation in a simple evaluation circuit a consistently high conversion accuracy and stability of the lightwave signals reachable in proportional electrical signals.
So können dort eine Vielzahl optischer Aufnehmerelemente unter gleichen technischen Bedingungen ausgewertet werden.at a particular embodiment of the invention in which a plurality of optical filters and these associated separate transducer elements on a common Fotodiodenzeile arranged, has the advantage that at the same time different similar light wave signals can be evaluated. There the different lightwave signals almost under identical technical conditions be reduced to a proportional electrical size the calibration effort considerably and it results at the same time a constant conversion accuracy of the lightwave signals in the proportional electrical signals, which in particular at Use in measuring instruments advantageous is. So can there a variety of optical pickup elements under the same technical Conditions are evaluated.
Otherwise it is with such an optical spectrometer with only a few inexpensive Semiconductor devices a variety of different lightwave signals evaluated, while at the same time by simple differential circuits a high conversion accuracy and stability is achievable, which in particular for measurement purposes is advantageous. By such Fotodiodenzeilen with a variety of optical filters and optoelectric conversion elements are in particular very compact design evaluating executable, so that such light wave signals are also possible in mobile evaluation devices.

Es sind aber auch Interferenzfilter herstellbar, die konstante Kennlinien oder Kennlinien mit vorgegebenen Steigungen in jeder Richtung besitzen.such Interference filter F11-F42 can through Vapor deposition of the dielectric layers in the space provided Distances λ / 4 done. by virtue of different distances each of the low and high refractive index dielectric layers and the choice of the number of layers, interference filters can be produced, have the predetermined passbands and filter characteristics.
