Der Verschluß für die Öffnung 13 wird durch eine scharfkantige Scheibe 18 geschaffen. Die Scheibe 18 hat einen ebenen Mittelteil 19 und eine Reihe von ringförmigen Wellungen 20, die in einen konisch nach außen erweiterten scharfen Rand 21 auslaufen. Vorzugsweise wird die Scheibe 19 aus dünnem Metallblech, wie z. B. 0,25 mm starkem Zinnblech, hergestellt. In diesem Fall wird der Rand ohne konische Abschrägung scharf genug sein. Der nach außen konisch aufgeweitete Rand 21 verleiht dem Verschluß zusätzlichen Widerstand gegen innere Expansionskräfte, da bei richtig eingesetztem Verschluß die Ausdehnung des Inhaltes den Rand 21 tiefer in den Werkstoff der Seitenwand eindringen läßt.
