in Erscheinung treten.
Matratzenunterteiles wie in F i g. 3 ergibt.
zu verbessern, zeigt F i g. 4. Mattress according to claim 3, characterized in that the lower mattress part (12) consists of a middle foam part (42) and a rigid frame (41) surrounding the foam part, the dimensions of which in the parting plane of the mattress parts (12, 14) to the the web (11) provided for the mattress is essentially the same and its upper section (44) forms this web. $. Mattress according to Claim 4, characterized in that the upper section (44) of the rigid frame (41) is formed from a padding, in particular a foam or soft rubber pad. 6. Mattress according to claim 5, characterized in that the upper portion (44) of the frame (41) is placed in the form of a bead, in particular made of foam or soft rubber. 7. Mattress according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that a supporting structure, in particular a slatted frame (46), which engages under the middle foam part (42), is attached to the frame (41). B. Mattress according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the rigid frame (71) has a hinged head part (72), for this purpose the longitudinal bars of the frame (71) with the head part (72) by means of hinges (73) are connected, which are placed on the top of the frame. 9. Mattress according to claims 6 and 8, characterized in that the retaining straps (74) of the hinges (73) are arranged between the frame (71) or the head part (72) and the attached bead (75). 10. Mattress according to one of the preceding claims; characterized in that the upper mattress part is formed from a latex core (23) with a foam pad (24) fitting into the space enclosed by the web (22) and optionally a fleece pad (26) on the top. The invention relates to a mattress with two mattress parts which can be separated from one another by lifting the upper mattress part and which lie on top of one another in the position of use and which form a gap between them along their edge on the circumference. It is common practice to draw mattresses from beds with sheets and wrap the edges of the sheets completely around the edge of the mattress and insert them between the underside of the mattress and the bedstead to provide some support for the sheet. Sliding the edge of the sheet under the mattress or even just between the mattress and side parts of the bed is not only laborious, especially with one-piece foam mattresses, but there is also the risk that when making the bed, one may bump into the side parts of the bed, against protrusions and / or injuries to the mesh of the jumping frame and tearing or breaking your fingernails. A device is now known (Swiss patent specification 72 363) which comprises a flat rail to which a bar is pivotably connected. The rail and the bar can be locked in the closed position, in which they lie on top of one another like the two jaws of flat-nose pliers. The sheet or sheet to be held is now pushed between the cheek parts of the bar and the counter rail, and then the bar and counter rail are locked against one another, whereby the sheets and towels are clamped. This device is then inserted between the mattress and the bed frame, where it is fixed after the mattress has been placed on the bed. The length of the device corresponds to the width of the mattress and it is attached to the foot end to prevent the blanket from being pulled away from the sleeper's feet. However, with this device, apart from its inconvenience to use, it is not possible to fix the bed sheet around the mattress. In addition, when the device is introduced, there is also the possibility of sustaining injuries as described above. A mattress of the type mentioned at the beginning is also known (US Pat. No. 3 110 042): The mattress consists of two flat plates made of foam with different resilience properties. The two mattress parts are held together by a common cover, which covers the gap around the outside. The cover is provided with a side zipper, which makes it possible to insert slats between the two mattress parts, whereby the spring stiffness of the mattress can be changed locally. It is thus a matter of a mattress that can be changed in terms of its resilience properties, which is used on both sides and which has different suspensions which can also be changed locally by inserting the slats. The division of the mattress in two is practically eliminated by the cover during use, so that this mattress does not behave differently than any other known mattress with regard to the insertion of a sheet edge. There are also upholstery plates known (German utility model 1732 652), which consist of two foam plates permanently connected to one another by vulcanization, which have a profile in which the elevations of one plate correspond to the depressions of the other plate. The cushions and mattresses that can be produced from this are not subdivided in their height, so they have no other properties than all other known mattresses with regard to the insertion of the bed sheet under the mattress. There are also known mattresses that are divided in height (German utility model 1723 269 and German patent specification 879 156), in which the upper and lower parts are profiled and the elevations of one part face depressions in the other part. An intermediate plate is inserted between the upper and lower part so that the elevations of one part can only penetrate into the opposite depression of the other part by "bulging" the elastic intermediate plate. The three mattress parts are inextricably linked and form a unit. The present invention is based on the object of avoiding the aforementioned disadvantages associated with the use of the known mattresses and also of the known device, and of creating a mattress in which sheets, blankets and the like can be folded in without the risk of injury. The object is achieved according to the invention in that one: the mattress part has a protruding web on the edge of the inner surface facing the other mattress part and the other mattress part is set back according to the web on the edge of the inner surface facing the first mattress part. The particular advantage of the mattress according to the invention is that the edge of sheets, blankets and the like can be pushed into the slot of the mattress, in the area of which there are no protrusions or hard spots that would cause hand injuries, in particular tearing or breaking off from fingernails. The folding of the sheet and blanket edges is made much easier by the inventive design of the mattress because the entire mattress no longer has to be lifted, which is very tedious, especially with one-piece plastic mattresses, but the edges can simply be pushed into the slot. It is advantageous that the connection between the two mattress parts is very simple so that joining and separating the mattress parts does not cause the slightest difficulty, since it is sufficient to place the upper mattress part so that it covers the lower mattress part. Nevertheless, a lateral displacement of the upper mattress part relative to the lower mattress part is reliably avoided: Due to the covering when the two mattress parts are placed on top of one another, the large-area, interlocking connecting means inevitably fit into one another. No interfering connecting means limit the depth of the gap between the two mattress parts, so that the edge of the sheet is free. can be inserted between the two mattress parts. Another advantage of the mattress according to the invention is that, if necessary, the two mattress parts can be separated from one another and used separately as independent mattresses. This makes it possible to create an additional punch option for accommodating guests by dividing the mattress. This possibility is particularly important given today's shortage of living space, which usually prohibits the furnishing of guest rooms. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the web essentially has the cross section of a right-angled triangle, the hypotenuse of which rises obliquely from the inner surface of one mattress part to the outer edge of the web. In this way, steps at the transition between the web and the inner surface of the mattress part are avoided. The same applies to the bevel on the other mattress part, which is adapted to the web and which forms the set-back edge. This formation of the mattress is not only particularly advantageous for production, but also for covering and pushing the edges of sheets. In this regard, it is particularly advantageous if the web is arranged along the edge of the lower mattress part, because then the gap between the mattress parts at the edge is directed obliquely upwards so that it is particularly easily accessible for inserting the sheet edge. In one embodiment of the invention, the lower mattress part consists of a middle foam part and a rigid frame surrounding the foam part, the dimensions of which in the plane of separation of the mattress parts are essentially the same as the web provided on the mattress and the upper section of which forms this web. By attaching such a frame, the upper mattress part is given a particularly good hold because the web holding the upper mattress part cannot give way to the side. Nevertheless, the lying comfort offered by the mattress is fully retained because the cushioning properties of the mattress in the vertical direction are not impaired. The upper section of the rigid frame can expediently be formed from a padding, in particular a foam or soft rubber pad. It is particularly advantageous; to place the upper section of the frame in the form of a bead, in particular made of foam or soft rubber. In this way, the desired stability is achieved and a soft overlay for the upper mattress part is created over the entire surface. The attachment of a rigid frame for the lower mattress part also makes it possible to fasten a supporting structure, in particular a slatted frame, which engages under the middle foam part, on the frame. In this way, the mattress according to the invention can be used directly in the frame of a bed without the need for the jumping frame that was previously required. It would also be possible to provide the mattress directly with legs and, if necessary, head and foot parts and in this way expand it into a bed. In a further embodiment of the invention, it is also possible to provide the rigid frame with a head part that can be folded up. For this purpose, the longitudinal bars of the frame can be connected to the head part by hinges. The hinges are advantageously placed on the top of the frame so that the head part can be easily folded up without having to provide cutouts on the longitudinal seams. If the headboard is horizontal, the parts of the longitudinal seams of the frame can tamper with each other. It is particularly advantageous that the pivot axis for the head part lies approximately in the same plane as the plane of separation between the two mattress parts, which results in a minimal load on the mattresses when the head part is set up. The retaining straps of the hinges can advantageously be arranged between the frame or the head part and the attached bead, so that the hinges do not appear disruptive. The upper mattress part can advantageously be formed from a latex core with a foam pad that fits into the space enclosed by the web and, if necessary, a flow pad on the top. While the latex core provides the desired comfort when lying down, the foam padding that fits into the space enclosed by the bridge provides the; Mattress top has a particularly good hold. At the same time, the manufacture of such a mattress part is particularly simple. The invention is described and explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. It shows F i g. 1 is a perspective view of a mattress; F i g. 2 shows a section along the line II-II through the mattress according to F i g.1, F i g. 3 to 5 cuts similar to FIG. 2 through further embodiments of the mattress, FIG. 6 shows a longitudinal section through part of a further embodiment of the mattress together with the end part of a bed, FIG. 7 shows a longitudinal section through the end part of a further mattress which forms part of a bed; and F i g. 8 shows a longitudinal section through the head end of a further mattress with an openable head part. The mattress according to the F i g. 1 and 2 consists of two parts 1 and 2, which are about half as thick as a common mattress and are usually used on top of each other as shown in the drawing. In order to fix the mattress parts in their mutual position, the upper mattress part 1 q is provided with a protruding web 4 on the edge of its inner surface 3 facing the lower mattress part 2. The lower mattress part 2 , on the other hand, is set back at the edge 5 of its inner surface 6 facing the upper mattress part 1, so that the web 4 of the upper mattress part 1 engages as a connecting means in the section of the lower mattress part 2 formed by the set-back edge 5. Conversely, the middle part of the lower mattress part 2, which protrudes from the set-back edge 5 , engages in the recess of the upper mattress part 1, which is surrounded by the web 4 . In this way, a connection is created between the two mattress parts, which prevents the mattress parts from slipping against each other and whose connecting means are connected to the mattress parts over such a large area that tearing off or other damage or even destruction of the connecting means is completely excluded. In addition, the connecting means do not appear disruptive even when the mattress parts are separated. Furthermore, the gap 7 between the mattress parts 1 and 2 remains open over the entire circumference of the mattress, so that the insertion of sheet edges is possible over the entire circumference of the mattress and is not hindered by internal connecting means. In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, a web 11 is attached to the edge of the lower mattress part 12; while the edge 13 of the upper mattress part 14 is set back. The web 11 has a cross section which is essentially the same as a right triangle. The hypotenuse 15 of this triangle forms the top of the web and rises from the inner surface 16 of the lower mattress part 12 to the outer edge of the web 11. In this embodiment of the mattress, the upper mattress part 14 lies in a type of tub formed by the lower mattress part 112. There are no sudden changes in cross-section of the mattress parts and in particular no step-like changes in the course of the gap 17 between the mattress parts. This is advantageous both for the covers (not shown) surrounding the mattress parts and for inserting the sheet edges. In this embodiment of the mattress, the insertion of the sheet edges is particularly simplified because the gap 17 between the mattress parts is directed outwards and upwards; so that the insertion of the sheet edges in the direction of the arrows 18 can be done obliquely downwards, so approximately in the direction of the arms of a person busy making beds. While in the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 3 the lower and upper mattress parts are each made in one piece, it is also possible to assemble the individual mattress parts from several parts. In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the lower mattress part consists of a flat foam layer 21, on the edge of which a web 22 made of rigid foam is placed and fastened, for example, by gluing. This web has a triangular cross-section; so that a shape of the mattress base as in FIG. 3 results. The upper part of the mattress consists of an equally flat base layer made of a latex core 23, on the underside of which a foam pad 24 made of harder foam is glued, the edge 25 of which is beveled so that the foam pad 24 fills the space within the web 22. On the upper side, the latex core 23 is covered with a fleece layer 26, which makes lying on the mattress particularly pleasant. The stiff web 22 gives the mattress top a particularly good hold without impairing the comfort of lying. Another possibility of improving the cohesion of the mattress parts is shown in FIG.
Here the lower mattress part 31 consists of a central section made of foamed plastic; which is surrounded by a frame 32 made of a relatively solid material, which in the plane of separation between the lower mattress part 31 and the upper mattress part 33 has the extent that the web attached to the lower mattress part should have. This web 34 is formed by the upper section of the frame 32. The upper mattress part 33 again consists of a latex plate, which. is covered on its underside with a foam layer 35 that fits into the space enclosed by the web 34. In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the lower mattress part consists of a rigid frame 41 and a foam part 42 that fills the frame. The upper section 44 of the frame 41 protruding beyond the inner surface of the foam part 42 is formed by a bead with a triangular cross-section, which is placed on the upper side of the frame 41 and, for example, glued to the frame. A tongue 45 engaging in a groove in the frame is provided on the underside of the bead. In this embodiment, the frame 41 is made of wood. A secure connection between the frame and the foam part 42 is established by a slatted frame 46, the ends of which engage in folds 47 of the longitudinal bars of the frame. This slatted frame 46 forms a supporting structure on which the middle foam part142 is securely supported, so that no further fastening to the frame is required. On the lower mattress part formed by the frame 41 and the middle foam part 42 there is again an upper mattress part 49, the recessed edge 50 of which is adapted to the surface of the web formed by the bead, so that here again the upper mattress part 49 is reluctant to move like in a tub rests. This design of the mattress has the advantage that the mattress, as shown in FIG. requirement. In the case of the FIG. 6, the frame 41 rests directly with its longitudinal spars on blocks 51 which are fastened in a known manner to the inner sides of the side panels 52 of a bed frame: The side panels are in turn attached with their ends to the head and foot part of the bed frame, which part 53 in FIG. 6 is shown. Also in the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the lower mattress part consists of a wooden frame 61 and a plate-shaped mattress part 62 made of foam material which fills the frame; Latex or the like. The frame 61 is covered near its underside with a wire mesh 63 which forms the supporting structure on which the mattress part 62 rests. Here, too, the frame 61 is provided with a pad 64 which can again consist of foam or soft rubber. This upholstery 64 not only forms the web projecting over the inner mattress part 62, but also covers parts of the side surfaces of the frame with its legs 65 and 66. The upper mattress part 67 again has bevelled edges so that it fits into the tub formed by the lower mattress part and is fixed in this tub. In this exemplary embodiment, the mattress designed to be self-supporting in the manner described is provided directly with feet 68 and end parts and is used in this form as a bed. In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, the mattress base is in turn provided with a rigid frame, the longitudinal spars of which are composed of two sections 71 and 72, of which the sections 72 form a head section that can be raised. The sections 71 and 72 of the frame are held together by hinges 73, the retaining straps 74 of which are fastened to the upper sides of the sections 71 and 72 of the frame, for example by means of screws. The bead 75 fastened to the top of the frame covers the retaining straps 74 of the hinges 73, so that only the hinge of the hinges is visible. A particular advantage of this embodiment of the mattress is that the axis of the hinges 73 runs approximately in the parting plane 76 between the two mattress parts 77 and 78, so that the bending stress on the mattress parts when the head part is raised is reduced to a minimum. Otherwise, the design corresponds to the embodiment according to FIG. 8 of the mattress according to FIG. 6, so that no further description is necessary. To raise the head part, one shown in FIG. 8, the adjusting device 79, indicated schematically by dash-dotted lines, is used, with which the head part is supported on a component 80 carrying the mattress. It goes without saying that deviations are possible in the illustrated embodiments. In particular, the mattress parts can be provided with covers in any way. The cover of the lower mattress part can either surround the mattress part as a whole or only the part arranged in the frame. In this case, the frame can have its own cover. Furthermore, the mattresses can be beds; Loungers and other lounge furniture of any shape and training can be adapted.
