Der vorliegende Falzziegel besteht aus zwei halbrunden Kanälen A und B, Fig. 1 und 2,
aus den Falzen C und D zur seitlichen Ueberdeckung und den Rinnen E und F, sowie den
Rippen N und K, welche, als doppelter Verschlufs in einander greifend, die Ueberdeckung
der Ziegel in dieser Richtung bewirken. ',. Der Ziegel gehört,zu der Art, welche sich über
Fuge decken: der Kopf K legt sich über die Fuge /und die Ausschnitte O, Fig. 1. Rippe M
dient zur Verstärkung, Rippe L zum Aufhängen der Ziegel an die Latte. Am Kopfe sind die
Ecken G und H gebrochen, entsprechend einem Wulste J in der Rinne E. Auf dem Dache bilden die Ziegel eine Reihe über das ganze Dach herablaufender Kanäle,
und die halbrunde Form und Tiefe dieser Kanäle bedingen auch bei flachen Dächern noch
einen raschen Abfiufs des Wassers. Der doppelte Verschlufs hinten und die hohen Falzen an den
Seiten sind derart, dafs ein Eindringen von Wasser oder Schnee unmöglich wird. Die

Ziegel, verkehrt mit den Innenseiten auf einander gelegt, gegenseitig festliegen; diese Eigenthümlichkeit
ist von grofsem Vortheil beim Einsetzen, Verladen und Hantiren, indem viel Bruch vermieden wird. Letzteren Zweck erfüllen
auch die ausgeschnittenen Ecken bei G und H.
