Description

Connector device for coaxial cables The invention relates to a Steckvoxriclitung for coaxial cable, consisting of one at one end of a coaxial Cable formed connector, viobci the inner conductor of the cable serves as a connector pin, and from a socket to accommodate the plug, in one Contact spring received in an insulating part and guiding the inner conductor is arranged.

The invention is intended to consist of a plug and a plug socket Plug device for coaxial cable created, in which both the plug as well as the socket are as simple as possible, and with a reliable one Establishing contact is guaranteed when assembly is to be carried out quickly. aside from that sufficient strain relief is to be achieved for the cable. -According to the invention, which relates to a plug-in device of the type mentioned above, are these Requirements met in that the mechanical connection between the plug and Socket via a pushed onto the coaxial cable and screwed onto the socket Uberwurfmuttcr or the like takes place that the outer conductor of the plug through the outer conductor of the cable exposed by removing the outer insulating sleeve and by a flanged one pushed onto the exposed outer conductor Socket is formed, the outer conductor of the cable from the cable end via the socket is bent back towards the Flunsch that both the socket and the Uberrlurfnut or the like one in the gene diameter of the socket or -the Uberrurfnut or the like. narrowing covenant and that when screwed on the socket union nut or the like of the collar the union nut or the like, the outer conductor bent back over the socket of the cable presses over the flange of the socket against the collar of the socket> One Plug device with such a structure has the advantage that plug and socket are particularly simple to set up and design. The training of the socket has the advantage that the outer conductor connection between the coaxial cable and the socket can be produced without additional measures on the socket. This electric Connection becomes at the same time the mechanical connection between connector and bit Socket achieved by screwing on a Uberwurfmuttcr or the like, wherein the collar of the union nut or the like causes the contact. Simultaneously Safe t the collar of the cap nut or the like, especially the coaxial cable reliable against tensile forces occurring in the longitudinal direction of the cable. As a result of that the exposed outer conductor of the cable bent back over the socket of the plug is, the advantage is achieved that the mostly designed in the form of a metal mesh Outer conductor of the cable not spread when inserting the plug into the socket can be and thus in no way hinder the assembly. That way will The otherwise necessary soldering of individual wires of the 'metal mesh' is also avoided.

It is useful to: run over the over the socket of the plug bent back, A tubular part made of elastic material is pushed onto the outer conductor of the cable and the bent-back outer conductor of the cable at least at the free end of the outer conductor and the outer conductor against the outer wall of the socket pushes the connector. This creates a smoothly cohesive leilde. surface on the outer conductor of the plug.

An advantageous of the invention is so-designed that the federal government Socket for contacting and as a stop for the outer conductor of the cable and at the same time as a stop for the end of the socket facing away from your plug Insulating part introduced into the socket .. serves.

In order to arrange the socket as coaxially as possible on the plug, the The inner diameter of the socket of the plug is the same as the outer diameter of the cable exposed outer conductor selected. This is particularly important from an electrical point of view Advantage.

However, should mechanical tolerances of the outer diameter. of the cable - when the outer conductor of the cable is exposed - are compensated, it is useful if the inner diameter of the socket of the plug is greater than the outer diameter of the cable when the outer conductor is exposed and smaller than the outer diameter of the cable with the outer insulating sleeve. is chosen. It is particularly advantageous if a connector is arranged at both ends of a flexible piece of cable. This results in prefabricated cable pieces with connecting plugs, which can be used, for example, to easily connect and loop through several amplifiers of an antenna amplifier arrangement equipped with coaxial sockets that also serve as sockets.

The end protruding from the socket 3 is formed with a hdt lug 20. It is angled to design the contact spring 1 0 at the end provided with the soldering lug 20 with a recess, ui! in the case of connector pins that have failed for a long time, to avoid the steering pin hitting the base of the contact spring and to allow the connector pin to move forward. On the side of the pole part 17 facing the plug 2, it is provided with an opening 21 that widens in the shape of a funnel. in order to be able to insert the connector pin more easily. On the overlapping surfaces of the two halves of the insulating part 17, a pin 22 and a corresponding hole 2> are provided, which cause the two halves to hold together. In order to achieve a tight fit of the insulating part s: 17 in the bore 13 of the socket 3, both halves of the insulating part 17 are expediently provided with two wedge-shaped ribs 24 each running in the longitudinal direction of the insulating part and are pressed into the bore @ 13 secures the contact spring 19 against being pulled out of the insulating part 170. The inner collar 14 of the socket 3 also serves as a stop for the outer conductor 5 of the cable 1 mechanical connection between plug and socket. The outer conductor connection between plug and socket is also established by the T, Jbervrurfrrutter 16 at the same time. For this purpose, the Uber, urfnutter 16 has a find 26 c.üf. narrowing its inside diameter. The union nut 16 screwed onto the socket presses the collar 26 of the outer conductor 5 of the coaxial cable 1 bent back over the socket 8 of the connector 2 via the flange 9 of the socket 8 against the collar 14 of the socket 3 and thus contacts the outer conductor of the plug. By designing the socket 8 of the plug 2 with a flange 9 and the union nut 16 with a collar 26, the cable is at the same time adequately secured against tensile forces occurring in the longitudinal direction of the cable. The bzvr in Fig. 2 in a longitudinal section. The plug-in device shown in a top view in the plugged-together state essentially corresponds to the embodiment according to FIG. In contrast, the socket 30 is provided here with a continuous external thread 31 and an incision 32 and is held on the mounting plate 35 by a screw connection by means of an annular nut 33 and a split pin washer 34 inserted in the incisions 32. In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, in contrast to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the insulating part 17 consisting of two identical halves is pressed in from below, ie from the end of the socket 38 facing the plug into the bore 39 of the socket. The upper edge 40 of the socket 38 is crimped to secure the insulating part 17 and serves as a stop when the insulating part 1'7 is pressed into the socket 38. The upper round 41 of the socket 42 'of the plug 43 is here the socket 42 expanding outward. The outer conductor 5 of the coaxial cable 1 is bent in the same way as in the embodiment according to fig. 1 pressed against a beveled collar 44 of the socket 38: In rig. ' 4, the insulating part 48 accommodated in the socket 47 consists of a single part with a through hole 49 for the contact spring 19.
