Gemäß Fig. 1 umfaßt ein Telefon mit Anrufbeantwortereinrichtung eine Tasten­ eingabeeinheit 10 zur Eingabe von Wahlvorgängen oder verschiedener Steuer­ funktionen, eine zentrale Verarbeitungseinheit (CPU) 30, eine Sprachverarbeitungs­ einheit 40, die durch ein Steuersignal der CPU 30 gesteuert wird und an eine Telefonleitung angeschlossen ist, um ein Sprachsignal zu verarbeiten, sowie einen Kodierer/Dekodierer (CODEC) 70 zum Umwandeln eines von der Sprach­ verarbeitungseinheit 40 empfangenen analogen Eingangssignals in digitale Daten, um die Signalverarbeitung zu erleichtern, und zum Umwandeln digitaler Daten in Analogsignale. Weiterhin umfaßt das Telefon eine Speichereinheit 60, die mit einem Nur-Lese-Speicher (ROM) und einem Speicher mit wahlfreiem Zugriff (RAM) versehen ist, die durch ein Steuersignal der CPU 30 gesteuert werden. Das ROM speichert Programmdaten und eine digitale Nachricht, die zur Untersuchung und Zusammenstellung der Sprache erforderlich sind. Das RAM speichert die Sprachdaten temporär, und speichert eine aufgezeichnete Ansage des Benutzers.
