Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines peelbaren Siegelrandbeutels in kindersicherer Ausführung entsprechend der Erfindung, wobei ein Packgut zwischen Hälften 1, 2 einer Siegelränder 9 sowie eine Anfaßhilfe 4 aufweisenden Verpackung 10 eingelegt und die Hälften 1, 2 miteinander verschweißt werden, sieht erfindungsgemäß vor, daß eine der Hälften 1 aus einem vergleichsweise weniger biegesteifen Material und die andere Hälfte 2 aus einem vergleichsweise deutlich biegesteiferem Material ausgewählt werden bzw. umgekehrt, und daß jeweils die biegesteifere Materialhälfte am Ansatzbereich der Anfaßhilfe 4 mit einer Schwächungs­ linie 5 ausgebildet wird.
