Eine Sensorik im vorderen Be­ reich des Kraftfahrzeuges, die beispielsweise in der Stoßleiste eines Stoßfängers unterbracht ist, steuert bei Erkennen einer Kollision mit einem Fußgänger die Ver­ riegelungseinrichtung 14 an. Nachfolgend wird der Riegel 15 verdreht und gibt den Scharnierträger 10 frei, der unter der Vorspannung der Schraubenfeder 18 in Richtung des Pfeils 23 nach oben schnellt und eine Verlagerung der Frontklappe um den Betrag s bewirkt. Hierdurch wird im rückwärtigen Bereich der Frontklappe 1 ein Abstand gegenüber der nur schwer deformierbaren Unterstruktur des Kraftfahr­ zeugs in diesem Bereich geschaffen, während die Frontklappe 1 an ihrer Vorder­ kante um eine nicht dargestellte Verriegelungseinrichtung verschwenkt wird. Die beiden Gelenkarme 4 und 5 halten dabei über den Scharnierträger 10 und die An­ schraubplatte 12 die Anbindung an den Stützträger 3 aufrecht. Hierdurch wird ver­ hindert, daß die Frontklappe 1 sich aus ihrer vorderen Verankerung löst und bei­ spielsweise bei einem stärkeren Fahrzeugaufprall in die Windschutzscheibe des Kraftfahrzeuges eindringt. Außerdem wird durch die erfindungsgemäße Anordnung erreicht, daß bei entsprechend großen Kräften in Längsrichtung der Frontklappe 1 diese in Richtung ihrer Ausgangslage, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, zurückverlagert wird. Nunmehr verlagert eine nicht darge­ stellte energiespeichernde oder energiefreisetzende Einrichtung, die an der Unter­ seite des Scharnierträgers 110 angreift, den Scharnierträger 110 und damit die Frontklappe 101 entsprechend dem Pfeil 123 nach oben. Hierbei schwenkt die Frontklappe 101 kreisbogenförmig um ihre vordere Verriegelungseinrichtung 136, so daß die Frontklappe in ihrem rückwärtigen Bereich um den Weg s' angehoben wird. Die unteren Enden der Führungsschlitze 133 bilden hierbei eine Wegbegren­ zung für die Aufwärtsbewegung der Frontklappe 101, während in der geschlosse­ nen Position der Frontklappe 101 bzw. bei einer Öffnung der Frontklappe 101 von ihrer Vorderseite aus die Führungsstifte 134 und 135 an den oberen Begrenzun­ gen der Führungsschlitze 133 anliegen.When a collision of the vehicle with a pedestrian is detected, the hinge bracket 110 is released by means of the sensor system described above and a locking device (not shown). Ein Anschlag 253 begrenzt den Verlagerungsweg und verhindert ein Eindringen der rückwärtigen Kante der Front­ klappe 201 in die nicht dargestellte Windschutzscheibe des Kraftfahrzeugs. Anordnung einer Frontklappe an einem Fahrzeug, mit einer Einrichtung, die bei einer Kollision des Fahrzeugs mit einem Fußgänger die Frontklappe aus ihrer geschlossenen Ausgangslage in eine angehobene Position verlagert, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Frontklappe (1, 101, 201) zum normalen Öffnen über eine - in Fahrtrichtung (FR) betrachtet - hinten liegende Schar­ niereinrichtung (2, 102, 202) verschwenkbar ist, wobei die Scharniereinrich­ tung (2, 102, 202) so ausgebildet ist, daß sie im Fall einer Kollision des Fahr­ zeugs mit einem Fußgänger verlagerbar ist und hierbei die Frontklappe (1, 101, 201) in ihrem hinteren Bereich anhebt.1.
