Das Volumen des Behäl­ ters 1 ist dabei so gewählt, daß mindestens der gängige Inhalt einer Wachmittelpackung vollständig eingefüllt werden kann. In Weiterbildung des Behälters 1 ist dieser mit einer Dosiermechanik 11 versehen, die mit dem trichterförmigen Ausflußteil 2 zusammenwirkt (Fig. 3). Die Dosiermechanik 11 ist dabei als ein in einem Gehäuse 12 in horizontaler Ebene be­ wegbaren Schieber 13 mit einer Betätigungshandhabe 14 (Dosierknopf) ausgebildet. Der Schieber 13 ist im Führungsge­ häuse 12 gegen den Druck einer dort gehalterten Rückstellfeder 15 verschiebbar. Für den Schieber 13 ist darüber hinaus im Füh­ rungsgehäuse 12 ein Einschiebe-Begrenzungsanschlag 16 vorgese­ hen. Im Schieber 3 ist eine Dosierungskammer 17 ausgebildet, die nach Verschieben des Schiebers und der Überwindung der Kraft der Rückstellfeder 15 bis gegen den Begrenzungsanschlag 16 mit der Öffnung 20 des trichterförmigen Ausflußteiles 2 korrespondiert und danach mit Wachmittel 19 aus dem Behälter 1 befüllbar ist. Nach Loslassen der Betätigungshandhabe 14 wird der Schieber 16 durch die Rückstellfelder 15 wieder in seine ursprüngliche Ausgangsstellung zurück gebracht. In dieser Aus­ gangsstellung korrespondiert die Dosierungskammer 17 nun mit einer vom Schieber-Führungsgehäuse 12 abgehenden Zuleitung 18, so daß die Waschmittelportion aus der Dosierkammer 17 in die Zuleitung 18 fallen kann. Die Zuleitung 18 führt zur herausge­ zogenen Waschmittelschublade 8 bzw. zu deren Wachmittelkammern 9. Die Wachmittel-Zuleitung 18 kann zweckmäßig schwenkbar aus­ gebildet sein und gegebenenfalls ein Gefälle aufweisen. Es wäre auch denkbar, die Zuleitung 18 ortsfest zu einer bestimmten Do­ sierkammer hin auszurichten. Diese Dosierkammer könnte dann zweckmäßig diejenige sein, welche das Wachmittel für den Hauptwaschgang aufnimmt. Anstelle der beschriebenen manuellen Handhabung des Dosierschiebers 13 könnte dieser auch durch ei­ nen entsprechend aufgelegten Antriebsmotor in Funktion gesetzt werden.
