Abstract

The connector has a socket sleeve (21) for reception of connector plugs (19,20) fitted to the ends of corresponding optical cables on opposite sides, each connector plug provided with an integrated plug (23) for electrical conductors adjacent the optical plug (22), the socket sleeve provided with a corresponding electrical conductor socket (25) adjacent each optical plug socket (24).

Claims (9)

1. Optische Verbindungseinrichtung zum Verbinden von zwei Lichtwellenleiterkabeln, wobei jedes Lichtwellenleiterkabel mehrere Lichtwellenleiter aufweist, die mit korrespondierenden Lichtwellenleitern des jeweils anderen Lichtwellenleiterkabels zu verbinden sind, wobei mindestens eines der Lichtwellenleiterkabel über eine zur Anzahl der Lichtwellenleiter entsprechende Anzahl elektrischer Leitungen verfügt, die entweder mit korrespondierenden elektrischen Leitungen des jeweils anderen Lichtwellenleiterkabels oder mit sonstigen elektrischen Leitungen zu verbinden sind, mit einer Buchseneinrichtung, wobei jedes der beiden Lichtwellenleiterkabel mit einer Steckereinrichtung in die Buchseneinrichtung einsteckbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in die Steckereinrichtung (19, 20) des oder jeden Lichtwellenleiterkabels neben einem ersten Stecker (22) für die Lichtwellenleiter ein zweiter Stecker (23) für die elektrischen Leitungen integriert ist, und dass in die Buchseneinrichtung (21; 45) neben zwei ersten Buchsen (24; 47) für die Lichtwellenleiter mindestens eine zweite Buchse (25; 48) für die elektrischen Leitungen integriert ist, derart, dass beim Einstecken der oder jeden Steckereinrichtung (19, 20) in die Buchseneinrichtung (21; 45) gleichzeitig optische und elektrische Steckverbindungen herstellbar sind.1.Optical connecting device for connecting two optical waveguide cables, each optical waveguide cable having a plurality of optical waveguides which are to be connected to corresponding optical waveguides of the other optical waveguide cable, at least one of the optical waveguide cables having a number of electrical lines corresponding to the number of optical waveguides, either with corresponding ones electrical lines of the respective other optical fiber cable or to be connected to other electrical lines with a socket device, wherein each of the two optical fiber cables can be plugged into the socket device with a plug device, characterized in that in addition to the plug device ( 19 , 20 ) of or each optical fiber cable a first plug ( 22 ) for the optical waveguide, a second plug ( 23 ) for the electrical lines is integrated, and that in the socket device ( 21 ; 45 ) in addition to two first sockets ( 24 ; 47 ) for the optical fibers, at least one second socket ( 25 ; 48 ) for the electrical lines is integrated in such a way that when the or each plug device ( 19 , 20 ) is plugged into the socket device ( 21 ; 45 ) optical and electrical plug connections can be produced at the same time. 2. Optische Verbindungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Buchseneinrichtung (21; 45) ein Buchsengehäuse (36; 46) aufweist, mit an gegenüberliegenden Enden des Buchsengehäuses (36; 46) zugänglichen ersten Buchsen (24) für die Lichtwellenleiter, und dass in das Buchsengehäuse (36; 46) ein Aufnahmeraum (41, 49) zur Anordnung der oder jeden zweite Buchse (25; 48) für die elektrischen Leitungen integriert ist. 2.
