Abstract

The referencing device (14) detects the position of a body part during surgery using a navigation assisted probe (12). The device includes a reference element (22) which can be detected by the probe. It also includes a connector (20) for releasably connecting the reference element to part of the body. The connector comprises a bone plate (38) and may also have a fastening element such as a bone screw for attaching the bone plate to the body part.

Claims (19)

1. Chirurgische Referenzierungsvorrichtung (14) zum Bestimmen der räum­ lichen Lage eines Teils des menschlichen oder tierischen Körpers bei ei­ nem navigationsgestützten chirurgischen Eingriff mit einer Nachweisvor­ richtung (12), umfassend ein von der Nachweisvorrichtung (12) detek­ tierbares Referenzelement (22) und eine Verbindungsvorrichtung (20) zum lösbaren Verbinden des Referenzelements (22) mit einem Teil des menschlichen oder tierischen Körpers, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsvorrichtung (20) eine Knochenplatte (38) umfaßt.1.
