In beiden Fällen müssen die Platten bei ihrer Verlegung, insbesondere unter sogenannten Welldächern,gegen Verschiebung gesichert werden,da es sonst unvermeidlich ist, daß sich beim Aufbrinden der Wellplatten oder eines sonstigen Dachbelages unkontrollierbare, zum Teil durchgehende Fugen bilden, die die Wärmeisolierung beeinträchtigen. Infolge der Elastizität des Werkstoffes von aus Hartschaunkunststoff bestehenden plattenförmigen Bauteilen kann es vorteilhaft sein, wenn die Profilierung nur soweit hinterschnitten ist,daß die aneinanderstossenden Ränder der Platten durch Druck in Richtung ihrer Ebene ineinanderrastbar sind. Von ganz besonderem Vorteil, insbesondere bei der Bildung eines Isolierbelages an Schrägflächen ist es, wenn das Profil an zwei gegenüberliegenden, insbesondere Schmalseiten der Platte, als Einschubprofil, an den Längsrändern dagegen als Einrastprofil ausgeführt ist. Zweckmäßig kann es vor allem bei der Verlegung eines isolierenden Belages an Dachflächen sein, wenn an den obenliegenden Plattenkanten ein Falz zur Aufnahme eines plastischen Dichtungsstreifens vorgesehen ist. Es können ferner, insbesondere an der Oberseite des plattenförmigen Bauelementes mindestens in Querrichtung verlaufende Belüfungsnuten angeordnet sein.
