The invention relates to the construction of a wing for light aircraft
(Kite or hang glider).
The previously known light aircraft (hereinafter referred to as kites
) usually have so-called sails as wings. These are carried by a sail bag
(similar to ship sails) connected to the spars of the kite in such a way that
the sail to a grooved profile arched by the flat load (otoff thickness)
trains. This profile shape does not have a particularly good aerodynamic lift / drag ratio.
As a result, the oegel starts to flutter at small angles of attack
the kite must always be flown with a large angle of attack. This is aerodynamically why
unfavorable, because the kites, which have a relatively small aspect ratio compared to airplanes
have, the induced drag increases sharply at a large angle of attack and thus
the glide angle of the kite deteriorated further. These facts have led to
that with high-performance kites an attempt is made to at least the front half of the sail
designed as a double sail. This is achieved by so-called profile rods
the top of the sail in the area of the enlarged Jegel pocket so stretched upwards
becomes that with the taut underside of the brick an airplane-like
Profile trains. These profile shapes are in their buoyancy # drag ratios
better than the so-called Rogallose gel, but never achieve the properties
a rigid profile (like e.g. 13 in a glider). Through the profile bars, which

Weight of the kite increased noticeably.
The aim of the invention is now, with a relatively small effort
to achieve that on the kite for the corresponding speed range
optimal profile is formed. This is achieved by using a double sail,
which is pocket-shaped between the Ilolms rod and one drawn at the end of the profile

to prevent the tire ribs from bursting when higher heights are reached
