Claims (17)

1. Substrat (1) auf der Basis von Glas, Keramik oder Glaskeramik das zumindest an ei­ nem Teil mindestens einer seiner Seiten eine Beschichtung (3) aufweist, welche zu­ mindest teilweise kristallisiertes Titanoxyd umfasst, wobei das Substrat mit der Be­ schichtung so hergerichtet ist, dass organische Verbindungen, die auf der TiO2 Be­ schichtung abgeschieden werden, durch einen photokatalytischen Effekt unter der Einwirkung von natürlichem Licht oder UVA-Strahlung zerstört werden.
2. Substrat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschichtung so ausge­ bildet ist, dass organische Verschmutzungen, die in Form von Organosilanschichten, insbesondere Oktadecyltrichlorsilan (OTS) in einer Dicke von zumindest 0,05 nm auf der Beschichtung aufgebracht sind, bei einer UVA-Bestrahlung mit 0,6 W/m2 in einer Stunde verschwinden.

Substrat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschichtung so aus­ gebildet ist, dass organische Verschmutzungen, die in Form von Organosilanschich­ ten, insbesondere Oktadecyltrichlorsilan (OTS) in einer Dicke von zumindest 4 nm auf der Beschichtung aufgebracht sind, bei einer UVA-Bestrahlung mit 0,6 W/m2 in einer Stunde verschwinden.

Substrat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschichtung so aus­ gebildet ist, dass organische Verschmutzungen, in Form von Organosilanschichten, insbesondere Oktadecyltrichlorsilan (OTS) in einer Dicke von zumindest 9 nm auf der Beschichtung aufgebracht sind, bei einer UVA-Bestrahlung mit 0,6 W/m2 in einer Stunde verschwinden.
5. Substrat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschichtung so aus­ gebildet ist, dass organische Verschmutzungen, die in Form von Organosilanschichten Oktadecyltrichlorsilan (OTS) in einer Dicke von zumindest 19,5 nm auf der Be­ schichtung aufgebracht sind, bei einer UVA-Bestrahlung mit 0,6 W/m2 in einer Stunde verschwinden.
6. Substrat nach einem der hervor gehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das kristallisierte Titanoxyd in Anatase, Rutil oder in einer Mischung aus Anatase- Rutil vorliegt.
7. Substrat nach einem der hervor gehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Titanoxyd mit einem Krisallisationsgrad von zumindest 25%, insbesondere zwi­ schen 30 und 80%, kristallisiert ist.
8. Substrat nach einem der hervor gehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das kristallisierte Titanoxyd in Form von Kristalliten mit einer mittleren Größe von 0,5 bis 60 nm, vorzugsweise 1 bis 50 nm und insbesondere 10 bis 40 nm vorliegt.
9. Substrat nach einem der hervor gehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oberfläche der Beschichtung (3) oleophil oder hydrophil ist, insbesondere hydrophil in der Weise, dass insbesondere ein Kontaktwinkel mit Wasser nachfolgend einer Lichtbestrahlung < 20° beträgt.
10. Substrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ober­ fläche der Beschichtung (3) oleophil oder hydrophil ist, insbesondere hydrophil in der Weise, dass insbesondere ein Kontaktwinkel mit Wasser nachfolgend einer Lichtbe­ strahlung < 5° beträgt.
11. Substrat nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dicke der Beschichtung (3) zwischen 5 nm und 1 µm, insbesondere zwischen 5 und 100 nm, vorzugsweise 10 bis 80 nm und höchst vorzugsweise 20 bis 50 nm be­ trägt.
12. Substrat nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die RMS-Rauhigkeit der Beschichtung (3) zwischen 2 und 20 nm, insbesondere zwi­ schen 5 und 20 nm beträgt.
13. Substrat nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass unter der Beschichtung (3) mit den photokatalytischen Eigenschaften zumindest ein dünner Film (2) angeordnet ist, der eine antistatische, thermische oder optische Funk­ tion aufweist oder als Barriere gegen die Migration des aus dem Substrat stammenden Alkalis dient.
14. Substrat nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der dünne Film (2), der eine Barriere gegenüber den Alkalien bereitstellt, auf Siliziumoxyd, Nitrid, Oxinitrid oder Oxikarbid, Al2O3:F oder Aluminiumnitrid basiert.

Substrat nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der dünne Film (2), der eine optische Funktion aufweist, auf einem Oxyd oder einer Mischung aus Oxyden basiert, deren Brechungsindex zwischen dem der Beschichtung und dem des Substrats liegt, insbesondere aus einem der nachfolgenden Oxyde gewählt ist: Al2O3, SnO2, In2O3, Siliziumoxikarbid oder Oxinitrid.
16. Substrat nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschichtung (3) die Endschicht eines Stapels von Antireflexionsschichten bildet.
17. Verglasung, die schmutzabweisend ist, und/oder eine Antibeschlagverglasung, die monolithisch aufgebaut oder eine Mehrfachverglasung vom Typ Doppelverglasung bzw. Verbundverglasung, in welche das Substrat (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche eingebaut ist.
