Abstract

The connector, for use with a flat cable (1) having a number of wires in parallel, includes a formed aperture through which the cable (1) is inserted. The housing is formed in an insulating material and has a number of terminals that consist of three features (14,15,20). Contact with the cable wires is made by tightening pins (20) that penetrate the insulation. Coupled spring clips (30) are used to retain the ends of connecting wires.
