Abstract

Breathing mask with a first breathing connection and a first opening in the nasal region. A second breathing connection with a second opening is provided in a bite plate in the breathing mask.

Description

The invention relates to a ventilation mask with intra- and extraoral fixation as the preamble of claim 1.

Ventilation masks are used in a wide variety of areas of medicine zin, especially in anesthesia and emergency care supply, also for breathing apparatus for civil protection, etc. known. Such masks usually cover the mouth and Nose area. They consist of an elastic mate rial and are mostly lightly pressed on by hand or held by ribbons.

However, all of the aforementioned ventilation masks use one functional self-breathing ahead. The ventilation air is fed to the interior of the mask, from which they are removed by means of the egg breathing is recorded.

However, there are patients, such as spastic, who, because of their Disability insufficient or no self-breathing point. This group of patients must currently be with the so-called "iron lungs" are supplied. This device, the rhythmic compression from the outside onto the thorax of the patient presents an exceptional disability and permanent damage to the patient.

From diving, with heavy breathing apparatus for fire fighters and disaster operations, as well as from the aerospace industry mouthpieces for ventilation are also known. The Ver The use of such mouthpieces requires active self-breathing ahead.

The invention has for its object a ventilation to create mask while avoiding the inadequate of the well-known ventilation masks easily and without strangers help is to be borne and especially with patients insufficient or no self-breathing can be limited to this group of people be.

According to the invention, this object is achieved with a respiratory mask according to claim 1 by the characterizing part of Claim 1 solved.

The fresh air is at a ventilation according to the invention mask with a tube directly to the nose area supplied to a slightly appropriate excess pressure. The fjord Supply and exhaust air is controlled by conventional devices in one Cycle that corresponds to the normal breathing cycle. The formation of at least part of the bite plate as Negative form of the patient's teeth causes an opti Male fixation of the ventilation mask. Elastic bands serve to hold them.

It is obvious that such a breathing mask is preferably used in the medical field. The Application of the invention, however, is not be limits.

The respiratory mask according to the invention consists of an ela tical material, preferably a polymerized Plastic.

Hierin zeigt:Further advantages, features and possible applications of the present invention result from the exemplary embodiment game in connection with the drawing. Herein shows:

Fig. 1 eine schematische Vorderansicht einer Beatmungs maske, Fig. 1 is a schematic front view of a mask respirators,

Fig. 2 is a schematic perspective view of the back of a respiratory mask.

A respiratory mask according to the invention has a triangular base which is spatially adapted to the area of the nose-cheek chin-cheek-nose. It has a first ventilation connection 1 , which is preferably arranged in the nose area and a second ventilation connection 2 , which is preferably located in the mouth area. On the side edge of the ventilation mask there is a fastening button 3 in the cheek area. At this fastening buttons 3 , an elastic band, not shown, can be attached.

Fig. 2 shows a schematic, perspective view of the back of a respiratory mask. The first breathing circuit 1 is connected to a first opening 4 in the nose area of the breathing mask. The second ventilation connection 2 is connected to a second opening 5 . This second opening 5 is located in a bite plate 6 . The bite plate 6 has the structure of tooth impressions 7 as a whole or preferably in the cheek region on one or both sides. Through this an optimal fixation of the respiratory mask is sufficient.

As a rule, both the bite plate 6 and the contour of the overall mask are individually adapted to the respective carrier. For this purpose, a tooth and a facial impression of the area in question are taken.

However, it is also conceivable that the bite plate 6 consists of a plastic material that adapts to the tooth impression of the respective wearer.

It is also advantageous if the bite plate 6 is connected to the ventilation mask in an exchangeable manner.

It is obvious that the supply and exhaust air are optional via the first or second ventilation connection can.
