Abstract

The disc-shaped membrane (3) is fitted with a central flap (11) for opening the aeration channel (8) when there is low pressure in the container and with an outer annular section (12) for opening the venting channel (9) when there is overpressure in the container. By means of the clamping ring (4), which is clipped onto the valve stopper (2), the membrane (3) of the valve (1) is held under prestress on a valve seat (13) at the outlet end (14) of the aeration channel (8) in the valve stopper (2).
