Schaft für ein Revisionshüftprothesensystem umfassend einen in den Oberschenkelknochen einschlagbaren Verankerungsabschnitt (2), einen den Verankerungsabschnitt (2) verlängernden Abschnitt und einen ab­ gewinkelten Gelenkkugelabschnitt (3) zum Aufsetzen der Gelenkkugel, wobei eine durchgehende Längsbohrung (10) vorgesehen ist, in die von dem Gelenkkugelabschnitt (3) her eine bis in den Verankerungsab­ schnitt (2) reichende Sicherungsschraube (12) einsetzbar ist, wobei die Längsbohrung (10) wenigstens im Bereich des Verankerungsabschnit­ tes (2) als Gewindebohrung ausgebildet ist, und wobei der Verbin­ dungsabschnitt wenigstens teilweise durch eine Mehrzahl über Konus­ abschnitte (6 bzw. 7) ineinander steckbarer Hülsen-Elemente (5, 5') gebildet ist, die ebenfalls eine Längsbohrung (10) aufweisen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich des Gelenkkugelabschnittes (3) eine versenkte Ringschulter (16) als axiale Anlage für einen Kopf (13) der Sicherungsschraube (12) ausgebildet ist, um durch Anziehen der Siche­ rungsschraube (12) die Hülsen-Elemente (5, 5') nach Positionierung derselben gegeneinander zu verspannen, wobei in dem Gelenkkugelab­ schnitt (3) und in den Hülsen (5, 5') Gewindebohrungsabschnitte (10d bzw. 10c) vorgesehen sind. 1.
