Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein selbstklebendes Etikett sowie auf ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Folge von selbstklebenden Etiketten, die auf einer Unterlage von Abziehmaterial getragen werden.
  • EP-A-0594560 ist eine Ausscheidung aus der vorliegenden Anmeldung und beschreibt und beansprucht ein selbstklebendes Etikett sowie ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Folge von selbstklebenden Etiketten, welche auf einer Unterlage von Abziehmaterial getragen werden.
  • WO-A-9104850 (EP-A-0494201) und WO-A-9104851 (EP-A-0494191), die alle auf den Namen des Anmelders eingereicht wurden und einen Teil des Standes der Technik gemäß Artikel 54(3) EPÜ bilden, beschreiben Etiketten und deren Herstellung.
  • EP-A-0232054, EP-A-0192444 und WO-A-9005631 wurden ebenfalls auf den Namen des Anmelders eingereicht und beschreiben Etiketten und deren Herstellung. In jeder dieser früheren Druckschriften ist ein mehrschichtiger Etikettabschnitt durch ein selbstklebendes Schichtmaterial abgedeckt, das auf einen selbstklebenden Tragstreifen auf entgegengesetzten Seiten des mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitts aufgeklebt ist. Die ganze Rückfläche des selbstklebenden Etiketts besteht bei jeder dieser bekannten Druckschriften aus der Rückfläche des selbstklebenden Unterlage- oder Tragstreifens.
  • Eine Anzahl von selbstklebenden mehrschichtigen Etiketten ist bekannt. Diese Etiketten können den Nachteil aufweisen, dass sie vom Benutzer schwierig geöffnet werden können, wenn das selbstklebende Etikett auf ein Produkt aufgeklebt ist. Eine Lösung dieses Problems ist in WO-A-9605631 beschrieben.
  • Die Erfindung sucht eine zweckmäßige und elegante Lösung des Problems zu schaffen.
  • Demgemäß schafft die Erfindung ein selbstklebendes Etikett gemäß Anspruch 1.
  • Ferner schafft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Folge von selbstklebenden Etiketten gemäß der Erfindung, die auf einer Unterlage aus Abziehmaterial getragen werden gemäß Anspruch 5.
  • Eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung wird nun lediglich beispielhaft mit Bezugnahme auf die Figuren beschrieben. Es zeigt:
  • 1 eine Aufsicht auf eine Folge von Etiketten gemäß einer ersten Ausführungsform der Erfindung, die auf der Unterlage von Abziehmaterial getragen werden;

  • 3 schematisch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Etiketten gemäß 1; und

  • In 1 ist eine Folge von selbstklebenden Etiketten gemäß einer ersten Ausführungsform der Erfindung dargestellt, welche auf einer Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial getragen werden. Wie deutlicher in 2 dargestellt, weist jedes Etikett 2 ein Tragteil 6 auf, welches selbstklebend ist, wobei das Tragteil auf seiner Rückfläche mit einer Schicht aus druckempfindlichem Abziehmaterial beschichtet ist, das abziehbar auf der Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial getragen wird. Ein größerer Teil neben einem Querrand der Oberfläche des Tragteils 6 ist mit einer Schicht 8 von Klebstoff beschichtet, wie einem wasserlöslichen oder heißschmelzenden Klebstoff, und die Schicht 8 des Klebstoffs klebt am Tragstreifen 6 ein mehrschichtiges Etikett 10, wie ein Büchlein, an. Die Schicht 8 kann in Form von extrudierten Streifen oder Wülsten oder als eine ganze Oberflächenbeschichtung angebracht sein. Ein selbstklebendes Schichtmaterial 12, wie ein durchsichtiges Kunststoffmaterial, weist eine selbstklebende Rückfläche auf, und das Schichtmaterial 12 ist durch seine selbstklebende Oberfläche auf das Tragteil 6 und das Etikett 10 aufgeklebt, um dadurch die gesamte Vorderfläche des Etiketts zu bilden. Ein Abschnitt 14 des Schichtmaterials 12 ist auf den Querrand 16 des Tragteils 6 aufgeklebt, der nicht vom Etikett 10 bedeckt ist. Am anderen Querrand des Etiketts 2 weist das Schichtmaterial 12 einen Randteil 18 auf, der durch seine selbstklebende Oberfläche direkt mit der Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial verklebt ist. Wie aus 1 ersichtlich, ist eine Ecke des Randteils 18 des Schichtmaterials 12 auf seiner nach rückwärts gerichteten selbstklebenden Oberfläche mit einem Flecken aus Tinte, Farbmaterial oder dergl. 20 überzogen. Der Tintenflecken 20 erstreckt sich so weit wie der freie Rand 22 des Schichtmaterials 12 und bildet eine nicht angeklebte Klappe 24, die nicht selbstklebend ist.
  • Bei Verwendung wird das Etikett 2 von der Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial entfernt und auf ein Produkt durch die selbstklebende Rückfläche des Tragteils 6 und die selbstklebende Oberfläche des Randteils 18 des Schichtmaterials 12 aufgeklebt. Wenn es erwünscht ist, das mehrschichtige Etikett 10 zu öff nen, zieht ein Benutzer von Hand die nicht haftende Klappe 24 weg, um den Randteil 18 vom Produkt abzuziehen.
  • Das Anbringen eines Tintenfleckens auf der nach rückwärts gerichteten Oberfläche des Randteils ergibt eine saubere und zweckmäßige Lösung, welche den Benutzer in die Lage versetzt, leicht zu erkennen, welcher Teil des Etiketts abgezogen werden muss, um das Etikett öffnen zu können, und ergibt ferner eine Klappe, die nicht am Produkt anhaftet.
  • In 3 ist schematisch eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung eines Verfahrens für die Herstellung von Etiketten gemäß der ersten Ausführungsform der Erfindung gezeigt. Es ist eine Rolle 26 aus einer Unterlage 4 von Abziehmaterial vorgesehen, auf welchem eine Folge von ausgeschnittenen oder gestanzten Tragteilen 28 getragen wird. Die Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial mit den abziehbar daraufgeklebten Tragteilen 28 wird durch eine Tintenaufbringstation 30 geleitet, in welcher Tintenflecken 20 in Folge auf die obere Fläche der Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial aufgebracht werden. Die Druckstation 30 kann normalerweise aus Druckwalzen 32 bestehen. Der Streifen verläuft dann zu einer Klebstoffaufbringstation 34, in welcher eine Klebstoffschicht 36 auf die obere Fläche der Tragteile 28 durch eine Klebstoffaufbringeinrichtung 38 aufgebracht wird. Der Streifen verläuft sodann zu einer Etikettaufbringstation 40, in welcher eine Folge von Etiketten 42 auf eine entsprechende Folge von Klebstoffschichten 36 aufgebracht wird, und sodann wird die zusammengesetzte Anordnung zu einer Schichtmaterial-Aufbringstation 44 geleitet, in welcher ein Streifen aus selbstklebendem Schichtmaterial 46 von einer Rolle 48 desselben ausgegeben und über die Oberseite der Anordnung aufgebracht wird. Die kombinierte Anordnung läuft sodann zu einer Schneid- oder Stanzstation 50, die eine Schneidwalze 52 und eine Gegendruckwalze 54 aufweist. In der Schneid- oder Stanzstation 50 schneidet die Schneidwalze 52 durch das Schichtmaterial 46, die aufgebrachten Etiketten 42 und die Tragteile 28, um die sich ergebenden Etiketten 2 gemäß den 1 und 2 abzuschneiden, und der rückständige Abfallstreifen 56 wird entfernt und auf einer Rolle 58 aufgenommen. Die auf der Unterlage 4 aus Abziehmaterial getragenen Etiketten 2 werden sodann auf einer Vorratsrolle 60 aufgenommen.
  • Eine weitere Ausführungsform eines Etiketts gemäß der Erfindung ist in 4 dargestellt. In dieser Ausführungsform ist der Tragteil weggelassen. Das selbstklebende Etikett 62 besteht aus einem mehrschichtigen Etikett 64, welches direkt auf eine Unterlage 66 aus Abziehmaterial durch eine Schicht 68 aus druckempfindlichen Klebstoff aufgeklebt ist. Die Schicht 68 aus druckempfindlichem Klebstoff kann entweder in Form von extrudierten Streifen oder Wülsten oder als ganzflächige Beschichtung aufgebracht werden. Ein selbstklebendes Schichtmaterial 70 erstreckt sich über beide Querränder des mehrschichtigen Etiketts 64, und das Schichtmaterial 70 ist durch seine selbstklebende, nach rückwärts gerichtete Fläche an zwei entgegengesetzten Randteilen 72, 74 desselben an der Unterlage 66 aus Abziehmaterial angeklebt. Ein Eck-Klappenteil 75 der nach rückwärts gerichteten Oberfläche des Randteils 74 ist mit einem Tintenflecken 76 beschichtet, der den Flecken nichtklebend macht. Wenn das selbstklebende Etikett 62 an einem Produkt angeklebt wird, wird der Hauptteil des Etiketts an dem Produkt durch die Klebstoffschicht 68 angeklebt, und die Ränder des Etiketts 62 werden am Produkt durch die Randteile 72, 74 angeklebt. Der Randteil 74 kann leicht vom Produkt abgezogen werden, indem der Eck-Klappenteil 75, der durch den Tintenflecken 76 gebildet wird, von Hand ergriffen wird.

Claims (7)

  1. Selbstklebendes Etikett, das aufweist: einen mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitt (10; 64), ein selbstklebendes Schichtmaterial (12; 72), das sich über den mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitt (10; 64) erstreckt und an diesem durch seine selbstklebende Fläche angeklebt ist, um dadurch zwei selbstklebende Randteile (14; 18; 72; 74) desselben auf entgegengesetzten Seiten des mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitts (10; 64) zu bilden, und eine Unterlage (4; 66) von Abziehmaterial, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass einer (18; 74) der Randabschnitte an der Unterlage (4; 66) von Abziehmaterial durch eine selbstklebende Rückfläche desselben direkt abziehbar angeklebt ist und dass sich ein nichtklebender Abschnitt (24; 75) an der Rückfläche des einen Randabschnitts (18; 74) befindet, bei welchem der nichtklebende Abschnitt einen Fleck (20; 76) aus Tinte aufweist, welcher die selbstklebende Fläche des Schichtmaterials (12; 72) beschichtet.
  2. Selbstklebendes Etikett nach Anspruch 1, bei dem der mehrschichtige Etikettabschnitt (10; 64) an der Unterlage (4; 66) von Abziehmaterial durch eine Schicht von druckempfindlichem Klebstoff (8; 68) angeklebt ist und die beiden Randteile (14, 18; 72, 74) an die Unterlage (4; 66) von Abziehmaterial angeklebt sind.
  3. Selbstklebendes Etikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, das weiterhin aufweist ein selbstklebendes Tragteil (6), welches auf der Unterlage (4; 66) von Abziehmaterial getragen ist und an das der mehrschichtige Etikettabschnitt (10; 64) angeklebt ist.
  4. Selbstklebendes Etikett nach Anspruch 3, bei dem das Randteil (14; 72) anders als das Randteil (18; 74) an einer Oberfläche des Tragteils (6) angeklebt ist.
  5. Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Folge von selbstklebenden Etiketten (2) nach Anspruch 1, die auf einer Unterlage von Abziehmaterial getragen werden, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst: (a) abziehbares Ankleben einer Folge von mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitten (42) an eine Unterlage (4) von Abziehmaterial; (b) entweder vor, während oder nach Schritt (a) Aufdrucken einer Folge von Flecken (20) von Tinte auf die Unterlage (4) von Abziehmaterial, (c) Aufbringen eines selbstklebenden Schichtmaterials (46) über die Folge von mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitten (42) und Flecken (20) auf die Unterlage (4) von Abziehmaterial, wobei das Schichtmaterial (46) an demselben durch seine selbstklebende Fläche angeklebt wird; und (d) Durchstanzen des Schichtmaterials (46) und der mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitte (42), um dadurch die selbstklebenden Etiketten (2) zu bilden, wobei jedes selbstklebende Etikett (2) ein Randteil (18) des Schichtmaterials (46) umfasst, das direkt abziehbar an der Unterlage (4) von Abziehmaterial angeklebt ist und jeweils einen der Flecken (20) hat, der nicht an die Unterlage (4) des Abziehmaterials angeklebt ist.
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, bei dem die mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitte (42) direkt an die Unterlage (4) von Abziehmaterial durch eine Schicht (68) von druckempfindlichem Kleber angeklebt sind.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, bei dem die mehrschichtigen Etikettabschnitte (42) an einem selbstklebenden Tragstreifen (28) angeklebt sind, welcher auf der Unterlage (4) von Abziehmaterial getragen ist.
