Description
- Stents sind röhrenförmige Strukturen, welche im Inneren von Körperkanälen, Blutgefäßen oder anderen Körperlumen implantiert werden, um derartige Lumen auszuweiten und/oder zu unterstützen, dass derartige Lumen offen bleiben. Typischerweise werden Stents in den Körper in einer komprimierten Konfiguration eingeführt und danach auf einen Enddurchmesser geweitet, sobald sie an einem Zielort innerhalb des Lumens positioniert sind. Stents werden oft nach einer oder als Ersatz für eine Ballonangioplastie angewendet, um eine Stenose zu beheben und um eine zukünftige Restenose zu verhindern und können im allgemeinen beim Beheben irgend eines einer Anzahl von röhrenförmigen Körperkanälen angewendet werden, wie z. B. solchen in den vaskulären, Gallen-, Genital-, Harn-, Magen/Darm-, Atmungs- und anderen Systemen. Beispielhafte Patente auf dem Gebiet von aus Draht ausgebildeten Stents sind z. B. die
US-Patente Nr. 5,019,090 von Pichuk,5,161,547 von Tower,4,950,227 von Savin et al.,5,314,472 von Fontaine,4,886,062 und4,969,458 von Wiktor und4,856,516 von Hillstead. Stents, welche aus Metallblech geschnitten sind, sind z. B. beschrieben in denUS-Patenten Nr. 4,733,665 von Palmaz,4,762,128 von Rosenbluth,5,102,417 von Palmaz und Schatz,5,195,984 von Schatz, in WO 91FR013820 WO 96 03092 US-Patent Nr. 4,994,071 von MacGregor und in der US-Patentanmeldung mit der Seriennummer 08/642,291 des vorliegenden Anmelders, welche am 03. Mai 1996 eingereicht wurde, beschrieben. - Damit Stents wirksam sind, ist es essentiell, dass sie genau an dem Zielort innerhalb eines gewünschten Körperlumens positioniert werden. Dies trifft besonders zu, wo z. B. ein mehrfaches Anordnen von Stents mit sich überlappenden Stents erforderlich ist, um übermäßig lange Bereiche oder sich verzweigende Gefäße abzudecken. In diesen oder anderen Fällen ist es oft notwendig, den Stent sowohl während der Platzierung im Körper als auch nach der Expansion des Stents visuell zu beobachten. Zahlreiche Herangehensweisen sind versucht worden, um eine derartige Visualisierung zu erreichen. Zum Beispiel sind Stents aus strahlenundurchlässigen Metallen (d. h., solchen, die den Durchgang von Röntgenstrahlen, Gammastrahlen oder anderer Formen von Strahlungsenergie nicht zulassen), wie z. B. Tantal und Platin, hergestellt worden, um fluoroskopische Techniken zu unterstützen. Eines der potentiellen Probleme bei derartigen Stents ist jedoch, dass ein brauchbarer Balance zwischen Strahlenundurchlässigkeit und Stentfestigkeit schwierig, wenn nicht gar unmöglich zu erreichen ist. Um zum Beispiel einen derartigen Stent mit einer adäquaten Festigkeit auszubilden, ist es oft notwendig, die Stentabmessungen derart zu vergrößern, dass der Stent übermäßig strahlenundurchlässig wird. Folglich kann eine Fluoroskopie eines derartigen Stents nach Einlagerung die angiographischen Details des Gefäßes, in welchem er implantiert ist, verdecken, was es schwierig macht, Probleme zu beurteilen, wie z. B. einen Gewebevorfall und Hyperplasia.
- Eine weitere Technik, die hier angewendet worden ist, um die Visualisierung von Stents zu erzielen, ist das Verbinden von strahlenundurchlässigen Markierungen mit Stents an vorbestimmten Orten. Das Verbinden der Stent- und Markierungsmaterialien (z. B. nichtrostender Stahl bzw. Gold) kann jedoch ein Anhaft- bzw. Verbindungspotential oder eine Turbulenz im Blut schaffen und damit thrombotische Ereignisse, wie z. B. ein Gerinnen, fördern. Folglich wird die Größe der Markierungen minimiert, um dieses Problem zu vermeiden, mit dem nachteiligen Effekt, dass die fluoroskopische Sichtbarkeit stark verringert und die Sichtbarkeit orientierungsempfindlich ist.
- Eine weitere Technik, welche angewendet worden ist, um die Visualisierung von Stents zu erzielen, ist das einfache Erhöhen der Dicke derartiger Stents, um dadurch die Strahlenundurchlässigkeit zu erhöhen. Übermäßig dicke Stentstege schaffen jedoch in wirksamer Weise ein Hindernis für die Blutströmung. Außerdem führen Design begrenzungen für Stents mit dicken Stegen oft zu großen Spalten zwischen diesen Stegen, was die Abstützung eines umgebenden Lumens verringert. Des Weiteren könnten übermäßig dicke Stentstege die Stentflexibilität nachteilig beeinflussen.
- Es gibt daher ein Bedürfnis nach einer erhöhten Strahlenundurchlässigkeit von Stents, ohne die mechanischen Eigenschaften oder das mechanische Verhalten der Stents aufzugeben. Die Beschichtung von Stents mit strahlenundurchlässigen Materialien ist beschrieben im
US-Patent Nr. 5,607,442 von Fishell et al. Gemäß diesem Patent ist die beschriebene strahlenundurchlässige Beschichtung deutlich dicker an den Längselementen der Stents im Vergleich zu den radialen Stentelementen, und zwar derart, dass lediglich die Längselemente des Stents während einer Fluoroskopie sichtbar sind. - Die
EP 0 679 372 A2 offenbart einen Stent gemäß der Präambel von Anspruch 1 mit einer Beschichtung. - ZUSAMMENFASSUNG DER ERFINDUNG
- Die vorliegende in ihren Ansprüchen festgelegte Erfindung schafft Stents von optimierter Strahlenundurchlässigkeit und optimierten mechanischen Eigenschaften.
- Der Stent weist eine zweite Beschichtung auf, wobei die zweite Beschichtung lediglich einen Teil des röhrenförmigen Elements abdeckt. Wenn der Stent mit Fluoroskopie beobachtet wird, erscheint der Teil, an welchem die zweite Beschichtung vorhanden ist, dunkler als der Teil, an welchem lediglich die erste Beschichtung vorhanden ist. In der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die zweite Beschichtung zwischen dem röhrenförmigen Element und der ersten Beschichtung angeordnet.
- In einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der vorliegenden Erfindung ist der Stent ein beschichteter verzweigter Stent zum Positionieren in einem Körperlumen, welches in ein Hauptlumen und ein Abzweiglumen verzweigt ist. Der Stent weist Haupt- und Abzweigungsschenkel zum Positionieren in den Haupt- bzw. Abzweiglumina auf. Bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Stent mit mehreren Schichten strahlenundurchlässiger Materialien derart beschichtet, dass, wenn der Stent mittels Fluoroskopie beobachtet wird, der Abzweigungsschenkel dunkler erscheint als der Hauptschenkel.

4B bis4C zeigen einen zweiten beschichteten verzweigten Stent gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der vorliegenden Erfindung. - AUSFÜHRLICHE BESCHREIBUNG
- Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft eine optimale Strahlenundurchlässigkeit von Stents ohne Aufgabe von mechanischen Eigenschaften oder eines mechanischen Verhaltens. Ein Stent gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist aus einem Basismaterial mit gewünschten mechanischen Eigenschaften (z. B. Festigkeit) hergestellt und mit einem Material beschichtet, um dem Stent eine optimale Strahlenundurchlässigkeit zu verleihen. Die Strahlenundurchlässigkeit der Stents gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist in dem Sinne optimiert, dass während fluoroskopischer Prozeduren die Stents vollständig sichtbar sind, jedoch nicht so strahlenundurchlässig sind, dass angiographische Details abgedeckt sind. Daher schafft die vorliegende Erfindung Stents, welche sowohl die gewünschten mechanischen Eigenschaften des Basismaterials als auch die gewünschte Strahlenundurchlässigkeit des Beschichtungsmaterials aufweisen. Die Stents gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung besitzen den zusätzlichen Nutzen, dass sie mit einfachen und reproduzierbaren Techniken hergestellt werden können.
- In einem nicht erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungsbeispiel ist ein Stent
100 ein röhrenförmiges Element101 , welches Stege110 aufweist, wie in den1A –1B dargestellt. Der Begriff „Stege", wie er hier verwendet wird, soll jegliches strukturelles Element eines Stents bedeuten, wie z. B. jegliche radiale, longitudinale oder andere Elemente, welche aus Draht, geschnittenem Blech oder anderen Materialien hergestellt sind. Die Stege110 weisen ein erstes Material auf, welches wegen seiner mechanischen Eigenschaften ausgewählt ist wie z. B. die Fähigkeit, in einer komprimierten Konfiguration in den Körper eingeführt zu werden, die Fähigkeit, sich an einem Zielort zu expandieren oder expandiert zu werden, die Fähigkeit, einem Zurückfedern bzw. Zusammenziehen zu widerstehen, und die Fähigkeit ein Körperlumen während der Lebensdauer des Stents offenzuhalten. Typische beispielhafte Materialien für Stege110 schließen nichtrostenden Stahl und Nitinol ein. Der Stent100 weist des Weiteren eine erste Beschichtung102 eines zweiten Materials auf, welches wegen seiner Strahlenundurchlässigkeit ausgewählt ist. Die Beschichtung102 deckt das gesamte röhrenförmige Element101 mit dem Ergebnis ab, dass Schnittpunkte der ersten und zweiten Materialien nicht zu einem Äußeren des Stents freigelegt sind. Indem Schnittpunkte der ersten und der zweiten Materialien in Richtung auf das Äußere des Stents nicht freigelegt sind, werden die Risiken, ein Verbindungspotential in dem Blut zu schaffen und eine elektrolytische Korrosion des Stents zu verursachen, ausgeschlossen.1B zeigt eine Querschnittansicht einer Beschichtung102 an einem typischen Steg110 des Stents100 . Obwohl1B zeigt, dass sowohl der Steg110 als auch die Beschichtung102 im wesentlichen quadratisch im Querschnitt sind, weist die tatsächliche Querschnittsform von einem oder beiden dieser Elemente jegliche gewünschte oder geeignete Form auf wie z. B. kreisförmige, ovalförmige, rechteckige oder irgend eine einer Anzahl von irregulären Formen. - Die Beschichtung
102 wird auf das röhrenförmige Element101 entsprechend einer geeigneten Technik aufgebracht, wie z. B. Elektroplattieren, autokatalytisches Plattieren, Ionenstrahl-unterstützte Anlagerung, physikalische Dampfaussetzung, chemische Dampfaussetzung, Elektronenstrahlverdampfung, Heißtauchen oder irgend ein geeigneter Sputter- oder Verdampfungsprozess. Die Beschichtung102 weist ein geeignetes strahlenundurchlässiges Material auf wie z. B. Gold, Platin, Silber und Tantal. - Die Dicke der Beschichtung
102 ist ein wichtiger Aspekt der vorliegenden Erfindung. Eine Beschichtung, welche zu dick ist, wird zu einem Stent führen, welcher übermäßig strahlenundurchlässig ist, und angiographische Details werden folglich während nachfolgender Fluoroskopie verdeckt. Zusätzlich erhöht sich die Stentsteifigkeit oft mit der Beschichtungsdicke, was es schwierig macht, den Stent zur Anordnung in einem Körperlumen zu expandieren, wenn die Beschichtung zu dick ist. Auf der anderen Seite ist eine strahlenundurchlässige Beschichtung, welche zu dünn ist, während Fluoroskopie nicht adäquat sichtbar. Abhängig von dem Material und der Konfiguration des röhrenförmigen Elementes101 und dem Material der Beschichtung102 ist die Dicke der Beschichtung102 so optimiert, dass ein optimaler Ausgleich zwischen Strahlenundurchlässigkeit und Festigkeit geschaffen ist. Im Allgemeinen ist jedoch bevorzugt, dass die Beschichtung102 etwa 1–20% und insbesondere etwa 5–15% der darunterliegenden Stegdicke beträgt. Bei allen Ausführungsbeispielen der vorliegenden Erfindung wird die Beschichtung102 auf den gesamten Stent derart aufgebracht, dass er während Fluoroskopie vollständig sichtbar ist. Dementsprechend ist jede suboptimale Expansion an irgend einer Stelle entlang des Stents sichtbar, und jegliche Abweichungen von einer perfekten kreisförmigen Expansion kann festgestellt werden. - Die Stents der vorliegenden Erfindung können jegliche geeignete Konfiguration aufweisen, obwohl die gemusterten Konfigurationen, wie sie in
WO 96 03092 2A und2B gezeigt sind) ist der Stent100 eine Röhre mit Seiten, welche in einer Vielzahl von zwei orthogonalen Mäandermustern ausgebildet sind, welche ineinander verwunden sind. Der Begriff „Mäandermuster" wird hier verwendet, um ein periodisches Muster um eine Mittellinie zu beschreiben, und „orthogonale Mäandermuster" sind Muster mit Mittellinien, welche orthogonal zueinander sind. - Wie in
2A gezeigt, weist der Stent100 optional zwei Mäandermuster11 und12 auf. Das Mäandermuster11 ist eine vertikale Sinuslinie mit einer vertikalen Mittellinie9 . Das Mäandermuster11 weist zwei Schlaufen14 und16 pro Periode auf, wobei die Schlaufen14 nach rechts offen sind, während die Schlaufen16 nach links offen sind. Die Schlaufen14 und16 teilen sich gemeinsame Elemente15 und17 , wobei das Element15 sich von einer Schlaufe14 mit seiner folgenden Schlaufe16 verbindet und das Element17 sich von einer Schlaufe16 mit seiner folgenden Schlaufe14 verbindet. Das Mäandermuster12 ist ein horizontales Muster mit einer horizontalen Mittellinie13 . Das Mäandermuster12 weist ebenfalls Schlaufen auf, welche mit18 und20 bezeichnet sind, welche in denselben oder entgegengesetzten Richtungen ausgerichtet sein können. Die in2A gezeigte Stent-Konfiguration mit orthogonalen Mäandermustern11 und12 schafft einen hohen Grad an Stentflexibilität und erleichtert Expansion und führt dennoch zu einem hohen Grad an Steifigkeit, wenn der Stent expandiert ist.2B veranschaulicht eine detaillierte Ansicht einer einzigen Zelle der am meisten bevorzugten Stent-Konfiguration der vorliegenden Erfindung. - In der Erfindung, wie in den
3A bis3C gezeigt, weist ein Stent200 eine zweite Beschichtung202 , welche zwischen den Stegen110 des Stents200 aufgebracht ist, und eine erste Beschichtung102 auf. Im Unterschied zu der ersten Beschichtung102 deckt die zweite Beschichtung202 jedoch nur einen Teil oder mehrere Teile des Stents200 derart ab, dass isolierte Bereiche des Stents200 bei Fluoroskopie am sichtbarsten sind. Zum Beispiel wird die zweite Beschichtung202 auf eines oder beide der proximalen111 und distalen Enden112 des Stents100 aufgebracht, wie in3A gezeigt. Wie bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel, welches in den1A bis1B gezeigt ist, deckt die erste Beschichtung102 jedoch den gesamten in3A bis3C gezeigten Stent ab. Die3B und3C zeigen Schnittansichten der Stege110 des Stents100 , bei welchem die zweite Beschichtung202 aufgebracht bzw. nicht aufgebracht worden ist. Ein derartiges isoliertes Markieren ist nützlich für das genaue Positionieren der Enden des Stents wie z. B. im Falle eines Mehrfach-Stenting, bei welchem die überlappende Länge wichtig ist, oder z. B. in dem Fall von Ostial-Stenting, bei welchem die Position des Stentendes relativ zu der Körperöffnung (Ostium) wichtig ist. - Die zweite Beschichtung
202 weist ein geeignetes strahlenundurchlässiges Material wie z. B. Gold, Platin, Silber und Tantal auf und kann dasselbe oder ein unterschiedliches Material wie für die erste Beschichtung102 sein. Die zweite Beschichtung202 wird auf den Stent200 mittels einer geeigneten Technik aufgebracht, wie z. B. solche, wie sie für die Aufbringung der ersten Beschichtung102 beschrieben ist. Die zweite Beschichtung202 wird lediglich auf einen Teil oder mehrere Teile des röhrenförmigen Elementes101 aufgebracht, zum Beispiel durch Abdecken während der Aufbringung der zweiten Beschichtung202 oder durch isoliertes Ätzen, nachdem die zweite Beschichtung202 aufgebracht ist. Es versteht sich, dass die Beschichtung202 , obwohl sie hier als eine "zweite" Beschichtung beschrieben ist, sie auf einen Stent200 auch vor dem Aufbringen der ersten Beschichtung102 aufgebracht wird. - Bei Anwendung weist die zweite Beschichtung
202 eine Dicke auf, welche zu einer vergrößerten Strahlenundurchlässigkeit an dem Abschnitt (den Abschnitten) führt, an welchem bzw. an welchen die zweite Beschichtung202 vorhanden ist, und zwar im Vergleich zu dem Abschnitt/den Abschnitten, an welchem bzw. an welchen die zweite Beschichtung202 nicht vorhanden ist. Da die zweite Beschichtung202 lediglich auf einen Abschnitt oder auf mehrere Abschnitte des Stents200 aufgebracht ist, kann sie dick aufgebracht werden, ohne wesentlich den Widerstand des Stents200 gegen Expandieren zu beeinflussen oder die Sichtbarkeit von arteriellen Details während Fluoroskopie zu beeinflussen. Wie bei der ersten Beschichtung102 ist die Dicke der zweiten Beschichtung202 derart optimiert, dass ein gewünschter Ausgleich bzw. eine Balance zwischen Stent-Strahlenundurchlässigkeit und anderen Eigenschaften geschaffen wird. Im Allgemeinen ist die zweite Beschichtung202 jedoch typischerweise so dick wie oder dicker als die erste Beschichtung102 . Wenn sowohl die erste als auch die zweite Beschichtung102 ,202 aufgebracht werden, ist es im Allgemeinen bevorzugt, dass die Dicke der ersten und der zweiten Beschichtung102 ,202 etwa 1–5% bzw. 5–15% der darunterliegenden Stent-Stegdicke beträgt. Des Weiteren übersteigt die kombinierte Dicke der ersten und der zweiten Beschichtung102 ,202 typischerweise nicht 25% der darunterliegenden Stent-Stegdicke. Als ein veranschaulichendes Beispiel wird die zweite Beschichtung202 auf eine Dicke von etwa 10 Mikrometern auf einen Stent mit Stegen mit 100 Mikrometer Durchmesser aufgebracht. Die erste Beschichtung102 wird dann auf eine Dicke von etwa 1 Mikrometer aufgebracht. - Bei einem weiteren Ausführungsbeispiel der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Stent
300 ein verzweigter Stent, wie in4A gezeigt. Der Stent300 weist ein röhrenförmiges Element301 auf, welches in röhrenförmige Haupt- und Abzweigungsschenkel310 ,311 zum Positionieren in Haupt- bzw. Abzweiglumen bzw. -lumina eines verzweigten Lumens verzweigt. Bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist der gesamte Stent mit einer ersten Beschichtung102 beschichtet, wie es für die Ausführungsbeispiele beschrieben ist, welche in den1 und3 gezeigt sind. Der Abzweigungsschenkel311 weist jedoch eine zweite Beschichtung202 auf, welche zwischen dem röhrenförmigen Element301 und der ersten Beschichtung102 derart angeordnet ist, dass, wenn der Stent300 mit Fluoroskopie beobachtet wird, der Abzweigungsschenkel311 dunkler erscheint als der Hauptschenkel310 . Die Querschnittansichten der Stege des Stents300 erscheinen somit für die Abzweigung- bzw. Hauptschenkel311 ,310 so, wie es in den3B und3C gezeigt ist. Eine derartige Konfiguration ist zweckmäßig zum Ausrichten und Einführen eines Abzweigungsschenkels311 in ein Abzweiglumen. - In alternativer Weise kann der Abzweigungsschenkel
311 wahlweise in eine Abzweigöffnung312 eines röhrenförmigen Elementes301 derart eingeführt werden, dass das röhrenförmige Element301 und der Hauptschenkel310 getrennt in ein verzweigtes Lumen eingeführt werden. In diesem Fall ist das röhrenförmige Element301 mit einer Abzweigöffnung312 versehen, wie es in4B gezeigt ist. Wenn das röhrenförmige Element301 einem verzweigten Lumen zugeführt wird, wird die Abzweigöffnung312 mit dem entsprechenden Abzweiglumen ausgerichtet. Der röhrenförmige Elementabschnitt301 des Stents300 wird danach expandiert, um seine Position in dem zu behandelnden Lumen festzulegen, und der Abzweigungsschenkel311 wird durch die Abzweigöffnung312 derart zugeführt, dass ein Teil des Abzweigungsschenkels311 in dem Abzweiglumen positioniert wird. Der Abzweigungsschenkel311 wird danach expandiert, wie es in4C gezeigt ist, und zwar in einem Maße, welches ausreichend dafür ist, dass seine äußere Oberflächen mit dem Abschnitt des röhrenförmigen Elementes301 in Eingriff stehen, welcher die Abzweigöffnung312 definiert, und den Abzweigungsschenkel311 in dem Abzweiglumen und im röhrenförmigen Elementabschnitt301 festlegt. Bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung weist ein Bereich313 , welcher die Abzweigöffnung312 umgibt, sowohl eine erste als auch eine zweite Beschichtung102 ,202 derart auf, dass der Bereich313 während Fluoroskopie am besten sichtbar ist. In anderen Worten, die Querschnittansicht der Stege110 des Stents300 erscheint, wie in3B , für den Bereich313 gezeigt, und wie in3C für andere Bereiche gezeigt. Eine derartige Konfiguration ist zweckmäßig zum Ausrichten einer Abzweigöffnung312 mit einem Abzweiglumen derart, dass ein Abzweigungsschenkel310 danach leicht in das Abzweiglumen eingeführt wird. - Die vorliegende Erfindung schafft Stents mit optimaler Strahlenundurchlässigkeit, ohne Beeinträchtigung von Stenteigenschaften oder Stentverhalten. Fachleute erkennen verschiedene Modifikationen zu den Ausführungsbeispielen der Erfindung, welche hier beschrieben und veranschaulicht sind. Derartige Modifikationen sind durch den Schutzumfang der beigefügten Ansprüche mitabgedeckt.
Claims (14)
- Ein Stent (
100 ;200 ;300 ) zum Einlagern innerhalb eines Körperlumens, wobei der Stent aufweist: ein röhrenförmiges Element (101 ), welches Stege (110 ) aufweist, welche ein erstes Material aufweisen, wobei das röhrenförmige Element ein proximales Ende (111 ) und ein distales Ende (112 ) und einen Längsdurchgang dort hindurch aufweist; und eine erste Beschichtung (102 ) an dem röhrenförmigen Element, wobei die erste Beschichtung im wesentlichen das röhrenförmige Element abdeckt und im wesentlichen gleichmäßig dick ist und ein zweites Material aufweist, wobei das zweite Material strahlenundurchlässiger ist als das erste Material; dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie des weiteren eine zweite Beschichtung (202 ) aufweist, welche zwischen dem röhrenförmigen Element und der ersten Beschichtung angeordnet ist, wobei die zweite Beschichtung lediglich einen Teil des röhrenförmigen Elementes abdeckt. - Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem die Dicke der ersten Beschichtung und/oder der zweiten Beschichtung etwa 1–20 Prozent der Dicke eines darunterliegenden Stegs beträgt.
- Stent nach Anspruch 2, bei welchem die Dicke der ersten Beschichtung und/oder der zweiten Beschichtung etwa 5–15 Prozent der Dicke des darunterliegenden Stegs beträgt.
- Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem die erste Beschichtung und/oder die zweite Beschichtung etwa 0,5–20 μm dick ist.
- Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem das erste Material aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, welche aus nichtrostendem Stahl und Nitinol besteht.
- Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem das zweite Material ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, welche aus Gold, Platin, Silber und Tantal besteht.
- Stent nach Anspruch 6, bei welchem die zweite Beschichtung an dem proximalen oder dem distalen Ende (
111 ,112 ) des röhrenförmigen Elementes angeordnet ist - Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem, wenn der Stent mit Fluoroskopie beobachtet wird, der Stent dunkler an dem Abschnitt erscheint, an welchem die zweite Beschichtung vorhanden ist, als dort, wo die zweite Beschichtung nicht vorhanden ist.
- Stent nach Anspruch 4, bei welchem die Dicke der zweiten Beschichtung etwa 5–15 μm beträgt.
- Stent nach Anspruch 4, bei welchem die Dicke der ersten Beschichtung etwa 1 μm beträgt.
- Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem die zweite Beschichtung ein Material aufweist, welches aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, welche aus Gold, Platin, Silber und Tantal besteht.
- Stent nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem das röhrenförmige Element in einen Hauptschenkel (
301 ) und einen Abzweigungsschenkel (310 ,311 ) zum Positionieren in jeweiligen Haupt- und Abzweiglumen eines verzweigten Lumens verzweigt ist. - Stent nach Anspruch 12, bei welchem die zweite Beschichtung lediglich den Abzweigungsschenkel abdeckt.
- Stent nach Anspruch 12, bei welchem das röhrenförmige Element eine Abzweigöffnung (
312 ) aufweist; der Abzweigungsschenkel wahlweise innerhalb des röhrenförmigen Elementes angeordnet werden kann; und ein Bereich des röhrenförmigen Elementes benachbart zu der Abzweigöffnung eine zweite Beschichtung zwischen dem röhrenförmigen Element und der ersten Beschichtung aufweist.
