Definitions
- the invention relates to packaging for isolated electrical components.
- Such components have hitherto been placed individually, or, if appropriate, in pairs or sets, in styrofoam pallets, in particular if sensitive ceramic components such as ferrite shell cores are involved. These pallets are layered into packaging units, covered with a corrugated cardboard end plate and connected with adhesive tape.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide packaging for isolated electrical components in which the difficulties outlined above do not occur.
- the packaging consists of a preformed, one-piece plastic film, in which receiving cups are arranged for the individual components, and that the receiving cups are sealed with the components contained therein with a one-piece adhesive film.

Description
The invention relates to packaging for isolated electrical components.
Such components have hitherto been placed individually, or, if appropriate, in pairs or sets, in styrofoam pallets, in particular if sensitive ceramic components such as ferrite shell cores are involved. These pallets are layered into packaging units, covered with a corrugated cardboard end plate and connected with adhesive tape.
There are a number of difficulties with this type of packaging. In addition to a low packaging density, which requires a lot of storage space for the empty and the filled packaging, the high insurance costs for the storage space must be mentioned, which are due to the risk of fire of the styrofoam. It should also be mentioned that with such a type of packaging, it is only possible to divide the packaging for small quantities (packaged individual parts, sets or pairs) with a lot of repacking work and with reduced packaging quality.
Mechanized and automatic feeding and insertion of the parts into the styrofoam pallets is so expensive that it is not practical. The object of the invention is therefore to provide packaging for isolated electrical components in which the difficulties outlined above do not occur. In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide packaging in which the electrical components can be packaged fully automatically and without manual assistance.
This object is achieved in that the packaging consists of a preformed, one-piece plastic film, in which receiving cups are arranged for the individual components, and that the receiving cups are sealed with the components contained therein with a one-piece adhesive film.
Appropriate configurations of the packaging according to the invention are set out in the subclaims.
- Fig. 1 ein Schnittbild und
- Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung.
- Fig. 1 is a sectional view and
- Fig. 2 is a plan view of the packaging according to the invention.
An den Aufnahmenäpfen 2, 3 sind Dämpfungsrippen 9, 10 angeordnet durch welche Stoß- und Druckbelastungen von den elektrischen Bauelementen 4, 5 ferngehalten werden.1 shows a section through the packaging according to the invention, in which two rows of electrical components, for example paired ferrite shell cores, are packaged in accordance with the exemplary embodiments described. The packaging consists of a preformed, one-piece plastic film 1 in which
Ferner ist in der Fig. 2 die Schnittebene I-I dargestellt, unter der die Fig. 1 betrachtet wird.2 shows a top view of the packaging according to the invention. Furthermore, the sectional plane I-I is shown in FIG. 2, under which FIG. 1 is considered.
In Fig. 2 it can be seen that the receiving
Within the
The automatic packaging process takes place, for example, in such a way that the receiving
To open the packaging, the paper sealing film is gripped in the area of the tear-
By molding conically drawn
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the individual strips can, for example, be cut off in any quantity, with the purpose of cutting off the
Both types of packaging have the advantage that shock and pressure loads are absorbed in both the horizontal and vertical directions, so that a high packaging quality is achieved. This is due to the fact that the bowl contours are separated from each other and damping ribs are provided in the bottom of the bowls.
The exclusive use of thin-walled film as packaging material also ensures a high packaging density. This means that a small storage space is required to store the finished packaging.
It should also be mentioned that the insurance costs for the storage of plastic film are lower than for polystyrene packaging.
A further advantage is that with the packaging according to the invention, the packaging can be divided into small quantities without great repackaging effort, without the packaging quality being reduced thereby.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures, rather electrical components can also be packed in a row, for which purpose only in the cover film two continuous notches can be made on the outer edges of the tape, thus allowing two strips to be pulled off at the edge of the cover foils. The sealing film is then connected to the plastic film with the then exposed two adhesive webs.
On the other hand, three, four and more rows of components can of course also be packed next to one another, in which case corresponding notches must be arranged in the cover film.
Since the starting material for the packaging is in the form of thin, wound foils, only a particularly small amount of space is required for storage before processing.
Due to the packaging of the electrical components in a single, double or multiple row and the smooth surface structure of the film, the electrical components can be fed fully automatically and inserted into the receptacles. The receptacles are drawn into the plastic film according to the size of the electrical component to be packaged.
