Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schreibkopf für Tintenschreibeinrichtungen gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.The invention relates to a writing head for ink writing devices according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Aus der DE-PS 25 43 451 (VPA 75 P 2175) ist ein Schreibkopf für Tintenschreibeinrichtungen bekannt, der mehrere Schreibdüsen in Form von Schreibflüssigkeit aufnehmenden Tintenkanälen enthält, die durch Ausformung des Schreibkopfes gebildet sind. Die einzelnen Tintenkanäle verlaufen in Richtung zu einer, die Tintenkanäle abschließenden Düsenplatte strahlenförmig aufeinander zu. Piezoelektrische Antriebselemente sind von den Austrittsöffnungen aus gesehen nach hinten versetzt angeordnet und umfassen die Tintenkanäle zylinderförmig. Ein tröpfchenweiser Ausstoß von Schreibflüssigkeit erfolgt durch piezoelektrische Verformung des auf den betreffenden Tintenkanal einwirkenden piezoelektrischen Antriebselemits. Ein solcher Aufbau.gestattet es, den Schreibkopf durch Vergießen der Antriebselemente bei gleichzeitiger Ausformung der Tintenkanäle herzustellen. Allerdings ist damit insofern ein erheblicher Aufwand verbunden, als das Gießen des Schreibkopfes im Vakuum stattfinden muß, um die hohen Anforderungen, die vor allem an die Oberfläche des Tintenkanals gestellt werden, voll zu erfüllen. Weiterhin ist die genaue Einhaltung von vorgegebenen Parametern, wie Mischungsverhältnis und Temperatur der Gießmasse Voraussetzung für einen störungsfreien Einsatz im praktischen Schreibbetrieb. Trotzdem gelingt es nicht immer, eine lunkerfreie Ausbildung der Tintenkanäle zu erreichen. Damit verbundene Rauhigkeiten der Oberfläche der Tintenkanäle können zu Störungen im Betrieb führen, da dadurch z.B. die mechanische Kopplung zwischen Piezoelement und Tintenkanal verschlechtert wird, und da sich mitgeführte Luftteilchen in kleinsten Hohlräumen im Tintenkanal ansammeln können. Die mit den erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen erreichbaren Vorteile bestehen vor allem darin, daß die für einen praktischen Schreibbetrieb maßgebenden Funktionsteile des Schreibkopfes jeweils als Einzelteile gefertigt und z.B. bereits vor der Endmontage sowohl auf ihre mechanischen als auch auf ihre elektrischen Eigenschaften überprüft werden können. Weiterhin ergeben sich bei Anwendung der Erfindung insofern Verbesserungen hinsichtlich der Kontaktierung, als die damit verbundenen Probleme vor allem in Bezug auf die Kontaktierung der Innenelektrode der Piezowandler erheblich vereinfacht und die Kontaktierung zugleich sicherer gemacht werden kann. Eine z.B. bisher erforderliche Drahtwendel zwischen Tintenkanal und Piezowandler ist nicht mehr notwendig. Die Einzelteile lassen sich mit Vorteil im sog.. Die als Einzelteil, vorzugsweise im Spritzgußverfahren aus thermoplastischem Material herstellbare Piezorohrgruppe weist einen Steg 5 und an ihrem vorderen, der Düsenplatte 2 zugewandten Ende eine Kegelfläche 6 zur Abdeckung der Tintenkanäle 7 auf. Das vordere, dem Aufzeichnungsträger 3 zugewandte Ende des Schreibkopfes wird durch ein vorderes Gehäuseteil 8 gebildet, das sowohl als Halterung für die Tintenkanalmündungen 7 dient, als auch die zur Heizung der Düsenplatte 2 erforderlichen Temperaturfühl- und Heizelement aufweist. Die Piezorohrgruppe wird, was aus Fig. 1 nicht ersichtlich ist, durch eine Gehäuseabdeckung abgedeckt, in der sich auch die Kontaktelemente für die Anschlüsse der Piezowandler befinden. Die Piezowandler 4 einer Piezorohrgruppe umfassen jeden Tintenkanal 1, wobei zwischen dem Tintenkanal 1 und dem Piezowandler 4 eine Schutzschicht 10 vorgesehen ist, die einen sicheren Schutz sowohl hinsichtlich chemischer Einflüsse als auch hinsichtlich elektrischer Störungen, beispielsweise gegen Kurzschlüsse sicher gewährleistet. Jeder Piezowandler 4 ist auf seiner Außen-und auf seiner Innenmantelfläche mit einer Kontaktschicht überzogen. Dadurch, daß sich die innere Kontaktschicht auch auf die äußere Mantelfläche erstreckt, ist es möglich, eine Kontaktierung von außen vorzusehen. Dazu sind in der die Piezorohrgruppe abdeckenden Gehäusekappe 11 jeweils Kontaktanschlüsse 12 vorgesehen, die nach außen hin als übliche Anschlußstifte ausgebildet sein können, und die nach innen hin in Kontaktfedern 13 enden. Die Wandstärke des Tintenkanals ist durch die Abmessungen der Formteile bestimmt. Zugleich mit der Kanalnadel 19 werden auch die Piezowandler 4 eingelegt. Über die Einfüllöffnung 20 wird dann die Gießmasse eingespritzt. Die Einfüllöffnung 20 ist vorzugsweise etwa in der Mitte jedes Tin-tenkanals einer Piezorohrgruppe angeordnet, so daß sich für jeden Tintenkanal nach beiden Seiten hin etwa gleich lange Fließwege ergeben. Damit wird die im Spalt zwischen der Kanalnadel 19 und den Wandungen der Formteile 17, 18 bewegte Luft beidseitig nach außen gedrückt. Um ein Verbiegen der Kanalnadel 19 während des Spritzvorganges sicher zu vermeiden, kann es vorteilhaft sein, die Tintenkanäle radial von zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten aus zu spritzen.Each piezo tube group is manufactured as a whole either by injection molding or by injection molding. Die gesamte Anordnung kann dann mit.einem Gießharz, z.B. einem schnell härtenden Kunststoff vergossen werden. Claims (8)

1. Schreibkopf für Tintenschreibeinrichtungen mit im Schreibkopf verlaufenden Tintenkanälen, die jeweils über einen Bereich ihrer Länge von einem Piezowandler umfaßt sind, und die an ihrem, dem Schreibbereich zugewandten Ende an einer Düsenplatte enden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die in einer Ebene im Schreibkopf verlaufenden Tintenkanäle (1) sowie die diesen zugeordneten Piezowandler (4) zu einer Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) zusammengefaßt sind,
daß die Wandstärke (9) der einzelnen Tintenkanäle (1) einer Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) im Bereich der Piezowandler (4) reduziert ist, und eine Schutzschicht (10) zwischen dem Tintenkanal (1) und dem betreffenden Piezowandler (4) bildet,
daß zur Aufnahme der Tintenkanalmündungen (7) der Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) ein vorderes Gehäuseteil (8) vorgesehen ist, in das die Tintenkanalmündungen (7) der Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) einsetzbar sind und gehalten werden, und daß eine Gehäusekappe (11) vorgesehen ist, die mindestens eine Piezorohrgruppe umfaßt und die Kontaktelemente (12,13) aufweist, über die eine Kontaktierung mit den Piezowandlern (4) der Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) besteht.

dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wandungen (9) der Tintenkanäle (1) einer Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) aus thermoplastischem Material bestehen, daß die Piezowandler (4) der Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) teilweise vom thermoplastischen Material umgeben sind und gehalten werden, wobei mindestens ein Teilbereich der äußeren Mantelfläche der Piezowandler (4) vom thermoplastischen Material unbedeckt ist.

und daß die an der Gehäusekappe (11) angeordneten und nach innen weisenden Kontaktelemente Kontaktfedern (13) sind, die nach Aufsetzen der Gehäusekappe (11) auf die Piezorohrgruppe (1,4,5) über außerhalb der Gehäusekappe (11) zugängliche Anschlüsse (12) die elektrische Verbindung zu den Piezowandlern (4) herstellen.
